The purpose of this study was to examine if high risk drinkers are different from normal drinkers in terms of drinking motives, drinking refusal self-efficacy, and alcohol outcome expectancy. A total of 139 university male students in D area completed a self-reporting questionnaires to assess general characteristics, drinking motives, drinking refusal self-efficacy, alcohol outcome expectancy, and amount of drinking. The subjects were divided into high risk drinking and normal drinking based on a CDC guideline.
