 Abstract
The Purpose of this study was to investigate correlations between the Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE) and the Functional Independence Measure (FIM) in strokes. The data collected retrospectively from fifty-five stroke rehabilitation patients. The MMSE and FIM at the time of admission and discharge were obtained from patients` medical records. Firstly, Pearson correlation coefficients of the MMSE score at the time of admission revealed with FIM at the time of discharge (p<0.05).
