Cooperative learning is known as an innovative and effective teaching method in enhancing student learning and, at the same time, in improving their teamwork and communication skills. The author utilized cooperative learning strategies in teaching fluid mechanics at Ajou University and this paper describes and discusses the methods adopted and the associated results. The results of a survey conducted at the end of semester are presented and some suggestions are made for further improvement.
