학업소진과 삶의 만족간의 관계에서 위험예측/이득예측의 매개효과와 조절효과

초록

본 연구는 학업소진이 학업영역에만 영향을 미치는 것에서 더 나아가, 궁극적으로는 삶의 만족에까지 연결될 수 있음에 주목하였다. 이에 따라 학업소진과 삶의 만족간의 관계를 살펴보고 이들 간 관계에 영향을 미치는 제 3의 변인으로서 위험예측과 이득예측을 상정하여, 학업소진, 위험 예측, 이득 예측이 삶의 만족에 어떠한 과정을 거쳐서 영향을 미치는지 변인들 간의 경로를 규명하여 경로모형을 검증하였고, 이 과정에서 위험 예측과 이득 예측의 역할을 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 326명의 대학생을 대상으로 설문을 실시하였으며, SPSS 18.0과 Amos 8.0으로 분석하였다. 연구결과, 위험예측은 학업소진과 삶의 만족을 부분 매개하는 것으로 나타났고, 이득예측의 매개효과는 유의하지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 한편, 위험예측은 학업소진이 삶의 만족에 영향을 미치는 과정에서 조절 역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 결과를 중심으로 학업소진을 줄이고 전문적 도움 추구에서 위험에 대한 기대를 낮춤으로써 삶의 만족을 높일 수 있는 상담 및 교육의 필요성을 제언하였고, 제한점과 후속 연구의 필요성을 제안하였다.
