초록

고속화 및 자동화 추세에 따라 열차제어시스템(TCS: Train Control System)은 유선으로 정보를 주고받는 기술에서 무선을 이용한 제어방식으로 기술이 발전되고 있으며, 무선방식도 2세대의 GSM-R에서 4세대 통신인 LTE를 적용한 LTE-R 무선통신 기술이 적용되고 있다. 따라서 무선통신(LTE-R)을 적용한 일반(250km/h이하) 고속철도(350km/h)용 열차제어시스템(KRTCS-2: Korea Radio based Train Control System-2, 이하 KRTCS-2라 함)에 적합한 표준사양(안)을 작성하고, 표준사양(안)을 기반으로 제작한 시작품을 일반열차 및 고속열차에 설치하고, 호남 고속선(정읍~익산) 및 원주-강릉선에 시험선을 구축하여 다양한 성능시험을 통해 표준사양(안)의 신뢰성 및 안전성을 확보하고자 한다. 이후 표준사양(안)은 국가 철도규격으로 제정하여 일반(광역) 고속철도 노선에 열차제어시스템을 적용함으로써 표준사양(안)이 실용화될 수 있도록 할 예정이다.
