Journal of the Korean Association of Geographic Information Studies is the official and interdisciplinary journal of the Korean Association of Geographic Information Studies(KAGIS). Launched in 1998, this journal is devoted to the interdisciplinary exchange of original research on theories, techniques, and applications in the field of geographic information science(GIScience) including geographic information systems, remote sensing, cartography, spatial analysis and modeling, and surveying. It contains original research articles, short communications, and reviews relating to innovative developments in GIScience and cutting-edge applications of geographic information in environmental systems, urban systems, social systems, policy and planning, transportation, geography, and natural resources. It is published quarterly in March, June, September, and December each year. All of the manuscripts are peer-reviewed.
