3D Reconstruction Using Segmentation of Myocardial SPECT Images

Myocardial imaging in SPECT (Single Photon Emission Computed tomography) scan of the gamma-ray emitting radiopharmaceuticals to patients after intravenous radiopharmaceuticals evenly spread in the heart region of interest by recording changes in the disease caused by a computer using the PSA test is to diagnose. Containing information on the functional myocardial perfusion imaging is a useful way to examine non-invasive heart disease, but the argument by noise and low resolution of the physical landscape that is difficult to give. For this paper, the level of myocardial imaging by using the three algorithms to split the video into 3-D implementation of the partitioned area to help you read the proposed plan. To solve the difficulty of reading level, interest in using the sheet set, partitioned area of the left ventricle was ranked the partitioned area was modeled as a 3-D images.
The study of X-ray detection characteristic and fabrication photoconductor film thickness for Screen printing method

Mercury Iodide as good sensitivity at radiation and has an easy peculiarity that operates at low voltage for other photoconductors(a-Se, a-Si, Ge, etc) Based on this characteristic, we studied about an efficiency of the digital x-ray detector in acccordance with the thickness of photoconductor. To solve the problem that is difficult to make a large area film using PVD(Physical Vapor Deposition)method, we used a PIB(Particle In Binder)method. To make a binder paste, we used a PVB(Polyvinylbutyral) as a binder and a DGME(Diethylene Glycol Monobutyl Ether), DGMEA(Diethylene Glycol Monobutyl Ether Acetate) as a solvent. Using this binder paste, we made a polycrystal mercury iodide film that has an each thickness. To evaluate the electrical properties of this films, we measured a darkcurrent, sensitivity and SNR(Signal to Noise Ratio). Mercury iodide film of the 200um thickness has good electrical properties as a result of the measurement. From this result there is a good chance that replace the existing a-Se(Amnorphous seleinum; a-se) with the mercury iodide.
Development and evaluation of MR compatible patch antenna for hyperthermia

The thermal treatment have been combined with MRI which is able to acquire both an anatomical image with high-contrast and a thermal image, and have recently used for removing the tumor effectively. This study is to make a patch antenna which is designed to operate at 2.45GHz that has compatibility with MRI. The characteristic and specific absorption rate(SAR) were confirmed using computer simulation and confirmed a possibility of hyperthermia by performing experiment.
Improved Center Array-Sequensing Phase Unwrapping(ICASPU) method for reconstruction of MR phase image

This study proposed an improved center array-sequencing phase unwrapping (ICASPU) algorithm. 2% agarose phantom dopped with 0.6mM/l MnCl2 was used with clinical 1.5T MRI system and commercial knee coil. Obtained k-space data(raw-data) was transmitted to PC and reconstructed into phase image with MATLAB software. Previous center array-sequence phase unwrapping algorithm wascompared with proposed ICASP algorithm using second order regression analysis. As a result, we found that the amount of error on proposed ICASPU method is less about 5 times than that of previous CASPU method. In this study, we exploit improved Center array-sequence phase unwrapping algorithm and expect to apply to images including phase informations.

Now a days, the Medical X-ray equipments has become digitalized from analog type such as film, cassette to CR, DR. And many scientists are still researching and developing the Medical X-ray equipment. In this study, we used the Bismuth tri-iodide to conversion material for digital X-ray equipments and we couldn't get the satisfying result than previous study, but it opened new possibility to cover the disadvantage of a-Se is high voltage aplly and difficultness of make.
