Abstract
In this paper, we consider proximal point algorithms based on (
)-monotone mappings in the framework of Hilbert spaces. Since (
)-monotone mappings generalize A-monotone mappings,
-monotone mappings and many other mappings, our results improve and extend the recent ones announced by [R.U. Verma, Rockafellars celebrated theorem based on A-maximal monotonicity design, Appl. Math. Lett. 21 (2008), 355-360] and [ R.T. Rockafellar, Monotone operators and the proximal point algorithm, SIAM J. Control Optim. 14 (1976) 877-898] and some others.

CHARACTERISTIC MULTIFRACTAL IN A SELF-SIMILAR CANTOR SET

Abstract
We study essentially disjoint one dimensionally indexed classes whose members are distribution sets of a self-similar Cantor set. The Hausdorff dimension of the union of distribution sets in a same class does not increases the Hausdorff dimension of the characteristic distribution set in the class. Further we study the Hausdorff dimension of some uncountable union of distribution sets.

This paper is a revised version of [5]. In [5], we define' nearness between two points' in a topological space in many ways and show that a continuous function preserves one-sided nearness. We also show that a

ON A CHARACTERIZATION OF T-FUNCTIONS WITH ONE CYCLE PROPERTY

Abstract
To the design of secret key, there are two types of basic approaches called the tame approach and the wild approach. In the tame approach we try to use only simple primitives such as linear feedback shift registers and to prove mathematical theorems about their cryptographic properties. In the wild approach we try to use crazy compositions of operations which mix a variety of domains in a nonlinear and nonalgebraic way. There are several papers which try to bridge this gap by considering semi-wild constructions. A T-function on n-bit words plays an important role in semi-wild constructions. In this paper we study the invertibility and the period of some T-functions. Especially we characterize some polynomials which has a single cycle property.
