Integral Imaging Pickup Method of Bio-Medical Data using GPU and Octree

Recently, 3D stereoscopic display such as 3D stereoscopic cinemas and 3D stereoscopic TV is getting a lot of interest. In general, a stereo image can be used in 3D stereoscopic display. In other hands, for 3D auto stereoscopic display, the elemental images should be generated through visualization from every camera in a lens array. Since a lens array consists of several cameras, it takes a lot of time to generate the elemental images with respect to 3D virtual space, specially, if a large bio-medical volume data is in the 3D virtual space, it will take more time. In order to improve the problem, in this paper, we construct an octree for a given bio-medical volume data and then propose a method to generate the elemental images through efficient rendering of the Octree data using GPU. Experimental results show that the proposed method can obtain more improvement comparable than conventional one, but the development of more efficient method is required.
Calibration Method for Omnidirectional Stereo Camera with Large Baseline

This paper presents a calibration method of an omnidirectional stereo camera which may be essentially performed for distance measurement to a certain point. In the calibration of the omnidirectional stereo camera, the independent calibrations of two cameras or the calibration of a stereo camera having the small baseline is feasible applying many methods studied in the past. However, the baseline should be large enough for long distance measurement by the omnidirectional stereo camera, since it is not easy to calibrate two cameras with a large baseline at the same time. It is because a test pattern for the calibration, which is simultaneously captured by two omnidirectional cameras, appears too small in at least one of the omnidirectional cameras. It causes inaccurate calibration. In this paper, therefore, we propose a calibration method of the omnidirectional stereo camera with a large baseline and empirically verify its feasibility.
Push Service Technique based on Semantic Web for Personalized Services

Many personalized services that provide users with adaptive information according to users' preferences have been researched and developed. Push services are especially expected to be more economic impact because push services satisfy user's potential needs even if the user does not require anything. In this paper, we propose Semantic Web approach in order to enhance the performance of push services. Our approach provides infrastructure to recommend contents based on semantic association by enabling information of contents and user preferences to be described on service-specific ontologies that reflect features of each service. In addition, our approach can recommend users with adaptive information based on information represented in our description model. Our approach enables information of contents and user preferences to be described with rich expressiveness, and it provides semantic interoperability.
Wavelet-Based Minimized Feature Selection for Motor Imagery Classification

This paper presents a methodology for classifying left and right motor imagery using a neural network with weighted fuzzy membership functions (NEWFM) and wavelet-based feature extraction. Wavelet coefficients are extracted from electroencephalogram(EEG) signal by wavelet transforms in the first step. In the second step, sixty numbers of initial features are extracted from wavelet coefficients by the frequency distribution and the amount of variability in frequency distribution. The distributed non-overlap area measurement method selects the minimized number of features by removing the worst input features one by one, and then minimized six numbers of features are selected with the highest performance result. The proposed methodology shows that accuracy rate is 86.43% with six numbers of features.
Block-Centered Symmetric Motion Estimation for Side Information Generation in Distributed Video Coding

Side information generation techniques play a great role in determining the overall performance of the DVC (Distributed Video Coding) coding system. Most conventional techniques for side information generation are mainly based on the block matching algorithm with symmetric motion estimation between the previously reconstructed key frames. But, these techniques tend to show mismatches between the motion vectors and the real placements of moving objects. So these techniques need to be modified so as to search well the real placements of moving objects. To overcome this problem, this paper proposes a block-centered symmetric motion estimation technique which uses the same coordinates with the given block. Through computer simulations, it is shown that the proposed algorithm outperforms the conventional schemes in the objective quality.
Semantics in Social Web: A Case of Personalized Email Marketing

Useful emails influence on consumers' purchase behavior and activate them to visit retail stores. Regular contact with consumers by e-mail has positive effects on brand loyalty. However, email marketing has a limitation. Spam now accounts for over half of all e-mail traffic. The increase of email users has resulted in the dramatic increase of spam emails during the past few years. In this paper, we proposed an ontology-based system offering personalized email services to overcome such limitation. Our method is not the ontology-driven spam filtering, but a personalized content service considering personal interests and relations among people by using FOAF and domain ontologies. Our system was successfully tested in email marketing domain.

As information on gene sequences is not only diverse but also extremely huge in volume, high-performance computer and information technology techniques are required to build and analyze gene sequence databases. This has given rise to the discipline of bioinformatics, a field of research where computers are utilized to collect, to manage, to save, to evaluate, and to analyze biological data. In line with such continued development in bioinformatics, the Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information (KISTI) has built an infrastructure for the biological information, based on the information technology, and provided the information for researchers of bioscience. This paper analyzes the reference fields of Genbank, the most frequently used gene database by the global researchers among the life information databases, and proposes the interface method to NDSL which is the science and technology information integrated service provided by KISTI. For these, after collecting Genbank data from NCBI FTP site, we rebuilt the database by separating Genbank text files into the basic gene data and the reference data. So new tables are generated through extracting the paper and patent information from Genbank reference fields. Then we suggest the method of connection with the paper DB and the patent DB operated by KISTI.
Video Watermarking Algorithm using Position Encoding

In this paper, a new video watermarking algorithm using 3D wavelet transform and position encoding of spread spectrum correlation is proposed as a method for ensuring enough payload in order to protect copyright for video contents. This algorithm provides better robustness than other watermarking methods in bit error and rotation because it uses the position encoding and
sample space instead of
pixel to express a digit. The evaluation result over 6 video clips shows that the PSNR is over 31dB at strength 11 when histogram is narrow and it satisfies the transparency. Also, it shows the robustness of the proposed watermark algorithm that the BER is 0% to three codecs.
Handoff Improvement Method of an AP Choice for Guarantee of Mobile Node Network Performance according to Speed in Wireless LAN System

When Handoff occurs at wireless network, existing AP search chooses one of various APs according to signal strength information. However, IEEE 802.11 uses Medium Access method with CSMA/CA that competes to obtain a channel by sharing medium. Therefore, network performance is heavily affected by the number of nodes and network congestion aside from signal strength. This scheme presented an additional AP selection indicator and a new handoff algorithm to realize handoff guaranteeing the network performance of mobile node in a process selecting new AP. This indicator is includes a handoff cost function reflecting the network information of mobile node, and the mobile node made handoff guaranteeing the network performance using network information possible by using this. also we classified the nodes into high-speed node and low-speed node. Then, when Handoff occurs, high-speed node was made itself choose AP by signal strength information. We also made the low-speed node choose its AP by using AP network information which is applied area. Hence, we demonstrate through simulation that gets an improvement in performance, even in the wireless network which many users concurrently access to, and it has considerable effects on aspects of resources and network management by distribution of users.
Design of an Asynchronous Data Cache with FIFO Buffer for Write Back Mode

In this paper, we propose the data cache architecture with a write buffer for a 32bit asynchronous embedded processor. The data cache consists of CAM and data memory. It accelerates data up lood cycle between the processor and the main memory that improves processor performance. The proposed data cache has 8 KB cache memory. The cache uses the 4-way set associative mapping with line size of 4 words (16 bytes) and pseudo LRU replacement algorithm for data replacement in the memory. Dirty register and write buffer is used for write policy of the cache. The designed data cache is synthesized to a gate level design using
process. Its average hit rate is 94%. And the system performance has been improved by 46.53%. The proposed data cache with write buffer is very suitable for a 32-bit asynchronous processor.
Implementation and Memory Performance Analysis of a Service Mobility Agent System to Support Service Mobility in Home Network

In this paper, we introduce some issues to implement an agent system to support service mobility in home network environment, and describe detailed design method in terminal as well as server agent. Specifically, we describe user recognition module, signaling message receiving/parsing module of terminal agent and signaling message receiving/parsing module, multimedia switching module, memory management module of server agent. We define several parameters managed in IP sharing device and design binding table structure to support mobility. And we utilize M/M/1/K queueing theory to obtain relations between memory size, blocking probability and memory utilization. From the obtained results, we show that memory size can be predicted in server agent mounted on IP sharing device.
Design and Implementation of Cluster based Routing Protocol using Representative Path in Ubiquitous Sensor Network

A wireless sensor network communication technique has been broadly studied with continuous advances in ubiquitous computing environment. Especially, because the resource of the sensor node is limited, it is important to reduce the communication energy by using an energy-efficient routing protocol. The existing cluster-based routing protocols have a problem that they cannot select a cluster head efficiently by randomly choosing a head. In addition, because the existing cluster-based routing protocols do not support the large scale of network, they cannot be used for various applications. To solve the above problems, we, in this paper, propose a new cluster-based routing protocol using representative paths. The proposed protocol constructs an efficient cluster with distributed cluster heads by creating representative paths based on hop count. In addition, a new routing protocol supports multi-hop routing for data communication between a cluster member node and a cluster head as well as between cluster heads. Finally, we show that our protocol outperforms LEACH and Multihop-LEACH in terms of reliability and scalability.
Implementation of a Remote Controlling System between Server/Client based Mobile

Recently, with the development of network technology, the web-based remote control systems and the real time remote control systems that do not have any restrictions at any time and space are many developed in the several industry FA field. In this paper, we developed the graphic editor screen of the client PC (PDA) with wireless network and the real time remote control system that can access the industry's server and can control the transmission of data for the FA of iron and steel industry field. Implementation of this system brought on the several effects of the decrease of the worker's movement, the control of quick equipments, a step-up in production efficiency, and the decrease of maintenance expense and so on in administration side of industry field.
Deduction of Assessment Items about Applied Technologies in U-Eco City

For assessment of U-Eco City technologies, more concrete definition of those technologies are required. However, almost researches defined technologies as conceptually and even cannot include all of them. In this sense, the purpose of this study is to deduct assessing items for specifying applying priority of U-Eco City technologies. We performed the research by 3 steps. Firstly, we deduct assessing items of the technologies by researching their advance process. After then, we compensate the defect of those items through documentary research and made a periodic table about core technologies that can be useful for deducting long-term items. The assessing items what are deducted as a result of this study can be applied to the selection of technology, and will be useful to construct more objective and systematized U-Eco City. Furthermore, if assessment frame about technologies and services is developed from this research, it gives to us probability that standardized process of U-Eco City construction can be established.
Taxonomy Framework for Metric-based Software Quality Prediction Models

This paper proposes a framework for classifying metric-based software quality prediction models, especially case of software criticality, into four types. Models are classified along two vectors: input metric forms and the necessity of past project data. Each type has its own characteristics and its strength and weakness are compared with those of other types using newly defined criteria. Through this qualitative evaluation each organization can choose a proper model to suit its environment. My earlier studies of criticality prediction model implemented specific models in each type and evaluated their prediction performances. In this paper I analyze the experimental results and show that the characteristics of a model type is the another key of successful model selection.

In recent years, there has been a rapid and wide spread of robot system in our lives and with the ever increasing the requirement of user for robot functionality, the software component is increasingly sophisticated and complicated. Accordingly it is inevitable to employ a standardized software platform. The OPRoS is open standard software platform based on component for robot system. When the software components were developed, it has got to validate the conformity of robot software components which comply with the OPRoS standard specification. In this paper, we deal with the design and implementation of the structural conformance test suite to verify and validate the conformance of components to be developed by user. As the results of some experiments, we could verify it from this test suite whether the components satisfied standard requirement or not.
Development of Security Evaluate Model and Test Methodology of Enterprise Security Manageent (ESM) Product

ESM(Enterprise Security Management) is representing domestic security management, and there is requirement to enhance it. This paper will evaluate quality of ESM products, understand its quality level, and derive method to improvement so as to develop security evaluation model and test methodology which can support quality enhancement. In addition, it presented the performance test cases and evaluation method to measure product's security quality, and to perform research on the judgement method for the results based on appropriate criteria. Developed quality evaluation model is expected perform important role in evaluating and enhancing the quality of intrusion prevention system.
Hierarchical Architecture of Multilayer Perceptrons for Performance Improvement

Based on the theoretical results that multi-layer feedforward neural networks with enough hidden nodes are universal approximators, we usually use three-layer MLP's(multi-layer perceptrons) consisted of input, hidden, and output layers for many application problems. However, this conventional three-layer architecture of MLP shows poor generalization performance in some applications, which are complex with various features in an input vector. For the performance improvement, this paper proposes a hierarchical architecture of MLP especially when each part of inputs has a special information. That is, one input vector is divided into sub-vectors and each sub-vector is presented to a separate MLP. These lower-level MLPs are connected to a higher-level MLP, which has a role to do a final decision. The proposed method is verified through the simulation of protein disorder prediction problem.
Factors Influencing Consumers' Actual Behavior based on Different Degree of Product Information

E-commerce has been developing rapidly by enabling companies to sell their products or services online. However, adoption of an e-commerce website still faces lots of problems, such as changing consumer behaviors from purchasing in physical stores to purchasing online, privacy and risk, and so on. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of consumers' attitude on actual purchasing behavior based on the degree of product information. In this study, we designed two kinds of product web pages which show different degrees of product information. The first web page has adequate product information, and the second one has much less product information than the first one. We found that according to degree of product information, there is a difference among perceived usefulness, privacy, attitude and actual behavior. And we also reveal weight difference between the two kinds of webpages. Finally, we indicated that variables have impact effect on both mutual relations and preceding relationships.
Analytic Framework of Emotion Factors for Gameplay Capability

This study aims at empiricallly designing method to increase player's play capability through determining of the relations of player's behavior pattern and emotion factors when having gameplay experiences in MMORPG. For modeling emotion factors on gameplay, Our preliminary studies are considered in the process of rule-based systems on cognitive science approach. These study estabilished game architecture process applied of player's cognitieve emotion reactions in specific situation of role playing games that have most noticeable interaction with players based on quest system. This approach is expected to extend instant responses, which can be controlled behind all of anti-main behavior pattern and main behavior pattern in game playing. Therefore, such study is meaningful that is proposed the analysis framework of player's emotion factors to design game playing capability in game interactions.
A Case Study of a Planning Process through Developing Serious Games

This study explains the planning practical training that researches the process of functional game planning approach by developing functional games. The main focus of this study is the practical training process of planning which is an important part of game development jobs by developing games with proper functional materials, 'Framework of Planning Functional Game', and the verification of framework by developing functional games. This paper suggests that the functional game planning approach with the right function requires progressive/quantitative standard, which is different from typical process. Therefore, this paper is useful as reference materials of a functional game education through the cases of games developed by the progressive/quantitative approach standard.
Application Method of Image Restoration based on Augmented Reality to Museum Education

Interest in the augmented reality is growing and increase of Smartphone is changing people's life style. The purpose of this study is to explore application method of image restoration based on augmented reality to museum education. Museum is the proper place that audience, including students could learn culture and history of past time. This study suggests that using smartphone application which is used by image restoration with augmented reality is efficient to museum audience's understanding and interest. A game design for domestic museums is planned. Smartphone application which is used by image restoration with augmented reality also could be utilized for exploring historic sites or enjoying local festivals.
Implementation of a Samsulnori Ensemble System using a Touch Interface

Recently, as the scale of the cultural content business market is being growed, it required that we should introduce the Korean music culture which is unique and competitive cultural contents to the worldwide. This paper proposes a Samulnori Ensemble System (SES), using a touch interface which plays the Korean traditional musical instruments. A SES consists of the Control Device which supports touch functions, the Performance Manager that detects signals from the Control Device and plays a melody, and the Communication Manager making a ensemble among the possible devices. Also, using the Network Time Protocol which is part of Synchronization Manager can be paly different speed communication environments. We utilized multi-touch functions to operate the system. We also implemented multi-touch interface and multi-play with other player for fun and interesting who are not interested Samulnori.
A Study on the Stereoscopic 3D Filmmaking Curriculum in the Film and Image Major

After its remarkable success, "Avatar" brought another way of creating cinematic story; the stereoscopic 3-D cinema. Comparing conventional 2-D filmmaking, you need twice as much of budget and manpower in 3-D filmmaking because of the complicated process and slow production speed. The 3-D hardware like 3-D TV and 3-D projector are already showing at the retail stores while 3-D filmmaking is still in veil, and no major educational institution is yet to start 3-D related education. As 3-D movies get popular and demand more 3-D filmmaking professional crew, educating 3-D filmmaking to 2-D based film students will improve their hiring rate in the market. The successful result of the box office showing 3-D films like "Alice in Wonderland 3D" and "Titan 3D" forecasts that there will be more demand on 3-D related jobs very soon.
Analysis of Coen Brothers's Directing Style: Centering around Crime Movies

Through this thesis, I analyzed Coen brothers's directing style centering around Crime movies: Blood simple, Barton Fink, Fargo, The man who wasn't thers, No country for old man. About directing style of Coen brothers, plot is an epic depiction, habitual use of narration, refusal of happy ending. They concern subject matters about human original nature and tragedy by greed. And as motifs, they often use misunderstanding, crossing over, chase. Also they likes characters of ordinary people who is destroyed by greed. How about their technical style? They usually use steady-cam and wide lens in camera, and in his early crime movies he used expressionistic lights, but after that they usually used realistic natural lights. About sound, they likes more sound effects than music. Also they directed realistic acting and emphasized actor's personality. Coen brothers has been directed many crime movies and comedy films. But their unique directing style was particularly outstanding in the crime movies

In performance art, actors on the stage play an important role. The purpose of performance art is not in producing expression of superficial or trite pleasure, but in presenting a source of philosophical catharsis regarding essence of a human life. It is actors' responsibility to bring such expression onto the stage. Performance art not only involves technical skills but should be a cultural expression to represent tradition, spirituality and identity of a nation. In Korea, performance art tends to follow Western methods of expression. It is desirable to set a future direction to further develop methodology of expression in performance art. As part of such effort, the research examines how the rhythm of traditional Korean dance and dimension of time and space in performance art are effectively visualized in their relation to "stage direction." The research illustrates characteristics and concepts of Korean dances in terms of inhalation in deliberate hypogastric breathing ("danjeon') and rhythms of exhalation (gutgeori, jajinmori, huimori). Also, the research aims to enhance dramatic effect on the stage, which is distinguished from presentation of ordinary actions, by emphasizing dimension of time and space in visualizing expression.

Along with hardware implementation of cultural arts, the importance of cultivating and securing professionals who are able to operate and mange it from the political perspective is highlighted as a political issue. In addition, with growing public demand for culture, performing arts are enlarged and professionalized, and this increased the number of large-scale musicals and activated exchanges with overseas performances, which raised the demand for personnel of performing technology. Like this, growing theaters require professionals in the performing technology field for technically safe and quality performance. The certification system for performing arts professionals is to develop quality of theaters and performing arts by increasing vocational professionalism and safety in the performing technology field. This system performed since 2000 is getting positioned, and employees who worked for the performing technology field at this time showed a lot of attentions with certainty they would receive credit for artistic professionalism and raise pride as a performing arts professional. However, the government's political strategy to secure professionals of cultural arts and interest in human resource(HR) policy in the performing arts field were relatively insufficient. Therefore, this study examined the problems by looking into actual conditions regarding operation and role under the initial purpose of the certification system, and purposed the improvement plan as a first certification system to cultivate Korean performing arts professionals.

As we enter an era of emotional and endlessly competitive society, there has been a lot of changes happening to the styles and images of men, traditionally associated with strength and power. Today, the media is giving information on today's trendy men's styles and images to meet the growing demand by consumers, and giving appropriate gains in the process to all - both information providers and consumers. Generally speaking, the cover of a magazine represents the concept and image of the magazine. The cover model is closely tied with the symbolic image of the magazine, the current times, and what the general public wants. Therefore, research on the cover models of a lifestyle magazine has significance in that the current style trends will be able to be understood directly. The present research investigated the sexual images of men's magazine cover models. In carrying out the research, the sexual images were classified into the following: homosexual, cross sexual, metro sexual, and uber sexual. The research findings showed that uber sexual is the dominant sexual image in men's magazines in Korea, followed by metro sexual. In conclusion, the findings suggest an expansion of the traditional image of men, happening with the changes in traditional sex roles.

The study of the development of DJ robots is to meet the demands of the music services which are changing very rapidly in the digital and network era. Existing studies, as a whole, develop music services on the premise of personalized environment and equipment, but the DJ robot is on the premise of the open space shared by the public. DJ robot gives priority to traditional space and music. Recently as the hospitality and demand for cultural contents of South Korea expand to worldwide, industrial use of the contents based on traditional or our unique characteristics is getting more and more. Meanwhile, the DJ robot is composed of a combination of two modules. One is to detect changes in the external environment and the other is to set the properties of the music by psychology, emotional engineering, etc. DJ robot detect the footprint of the temperature, humidity, illumination, wind, noise and other environmental factors measured, and will ensure the objectivity of the music source by repeated experiments and verification with human sensibility ergonomics based on Hevner Adjective Circle. DJ robot will change the soundscape of the traditional space being more beautiful and make the revival and prosperity of traditional music with the use of traditional music through BGM.

Change of PAE according to Detector Measurement Method

The aim of this study is to investigate PAE, as the result of the test of kVp accuracy, according to detector measurement method. Based on the indicated value of 70kVp, each distance between a focus and a kVp meter was 100cm, 80cm and 60cm and the angle of X-ray tube was set on
. Each indicated value, 60kVp, 70kVp, 80kVp, 90kVp and 100 kVp, was used compare Small focus with Large focus. As a result, PAE on the side of cathode was higher than it on the side of anode in the case of 100cm and PAE on the side of anode was higher in the case of 80cm and 60cm. The coefficient rate was stable both the side of cathode and anode in the case of 100cm and it was fluctuated in the case of 80cm and 60cm. PAE in the case of Small focus was higher than Large focus and it was disproportionate to an indicated value. Error rate was in inverse proportion to the indicated value.
Development and Evaluation of Action Learning in Clinical Practice of Nursing Management

The aim of this study is to find the effect of action learning on the problem solving process of nursing students during the clinical practice of nursing management. A total of 99 senior nursing students participated in this study. Data was collected from May 2006 to October 2007 and statistical analysis for paired t-test was performed on the data using SPSS/WIN 14.0. The results of the data show that there was a significant increase in the problem solving process for nursing students after the implementation of action learning(t=-4.718, p=.000). In the problem solving process, there was a significant increase in definition of problem(t=-4.123, p=.004), design of problem solution(t=-2.973, p=.002), execution of problem solution(t=-3.264, p=.000) and investigation of problem solving(t=-3.677, p=.000). The only exception in the problem solving process was detection of problem(t=-1.858, p=.066). Therefore, action learning provides nursing students a new alternative for improving the problem solving process and clinical adaptability after graduating from nursing school.
Proposal of Modified Velpeau View as an Alternative Test Method of Velpeau View and the Visual Comparison

If a patient wearing arm sliding due to shoulder dislocation or fracture is impossible with abduction, the velpeau view is performed instead of superior-inferior axial projection view. However, it aggravates the patient's pain because it is difficult for the patient with dislocation or fracture to pull back the shoulders. Therefore, I suggest a new method of the 'modified velpeau view' that allows patients to lower their heads at examination. In order to investigate the easiness of fixing posture at examination and clinical utility, I conducted a study comparing the bone structures at the velpeau view and those at the modified velpeau view depending on wall-bucky and the patients' leaning forward angle (
), with the subjects of 20 velpeau view-prescribed patients amongst who had come to my hospital suspected of dislocation of shoulder or fracture and 30 healthy people from October of 2009 to January of 2010. Department of radiologists and orthopedics specialists evaluated the pictures for scales 0 to 5(best grade) under the given criteria. As a result of comparison in bone structures depending on wall-bucky and the leaning-forward angle in the group of healthy people, the velpeau view and the modified velpeau showed a similar diagnostic utility at
. The picture evaluation result for proving diagnostic value showed that the anterior and posterior of shoulder heads and the anterior and posterior of glenoid fossa could be observed in the velpeau view; on the other hand, besides these areas acromioclavicular joint and coracoid process could be viewed in the modified velpeau view. This result verified that the modified velpeau view could replace the velpeau view for its diagnostic value as an examination method. This result, moreover, suggests that the modified velpeau view needs to be studied and improved from a variety of perspectives not only for an alternative for patients having troubles with the velpeau view position but also for clinical application of new test method for diagnosis of shoulder disorders other than dislocation of shoulder or fracture.
Image Quality Evaluation of Medical Image Enhancement Parameters in the Digital Radiography System

Digital imaging detectors can use a variety of detection materials to convert X-ray radiation either to light or directly to electron charge. Many detectors such as amorphous silicon flat panels, CCDs, and CMOS photodiode arrays incorporate a scintillator screen to convert x-ray to light. The digital radiography systems based on semiconductor detectors, commonly referred to as flat panel detectors, are gaining popularity in the clinical & hospital. The X-ray detectors are described between a-Silicon based indirect type and a-Selenium based direct type. The DRS of detectors is used to convert the x-ray to electron hole pairs. Image processing is described by specific image features: Latitude compression, Contrast enhancement, Edge enhancement, Look up table, Noise suppression. The image features are tuned independently. The final enhancement result is a combination of all image features. The parameters are altered by using specific image features in the different several hospitals. The image in a radiological report consists of two image evaluation processes: Clinical image parameters and MTF is a descriptor of the spatial resolution of a digital imaging system. We used the edge test phantom and exposure procedure described in the IEC 61267 to obtain an edge spread function from which the MTF is calculated. We can compare image in the processing parameters to change between original and processed image data. The angle of the edge with respect to the axes of detector was varied in order to determine the MTF as a function of direction. Each MTF is integrated within the spatial resolution interval of 1.35-11.70 cycles/mm at the 50% MTF point. Each image enhancement parameters consists of edge, frequency, contrast, LUT, noise, sensitometry curve, threshold level, windows. The digital device is also shown to have good uniformity of MTF and image parameters across its modality. The measurements reported here represent a comprehensive evaluation of digital radiography system designed for use in the DRS. The results indicate that the parameter enables very good image quality in the digital radiography. Of course, the quality of image from a parameter is determined by other digital devices in addition to the proper clinical image.
Evaluation of the dose of 16-MDCT and 64-MDCT in case of Coronary Artery CT Angiography using Thermoluminescence Dosimeter

Coronary artery CT angiography has short scanning length, the exposure dose is high. Therefore, it is required to study on the organ dose when using MDCT. We compared the differences between the absorbed dose and effective dose in the major organs assessing the absorbed dose in the major organs by 16-MDCT and 64-MDCT in the subjects with coronary artery CT angiography, the same protocol by 16-MDCT and 64-MDCT. As a result, the great orders of absorbed dose when conducting coronary artery CT angiography had been shown as heart, stomach, liver, pancreas, kidney, spleen, large intestine, lung, small intestine, thyroid gland, ovary, bladder, and orbit with the absorbed dose distribution of
in 16-MDCT, and heart, stomach, pancreas, spleen, liver, kidney, small intestine, large intestine, lung, thyroid gland, ovary, bladder, and orbit with the absorbed dose distribution of
in 64-MDCT, demonstrating some different distributions. The exposed doses to the patient per one time scanning with coronary artery CT angiography were
in 16-MDCT as the absorbed dose based on the heart and
in 64-MDCT. The effective doses were 7.41 mSv and 12.11 mSv in 16 and 64-MDCT, respectively. Taking into account the results of brain CT with 2.8 mSv that has comparatively large scanning length and size, facial CT 0.8 mSv, chest CT 5.7 mSv, pelvic CT 7.2 mSv, and abdominal and pelvic CT 14.4 mSv, it is very high considering the scanning length of 13 cm limited to the heart for the scanning range.

Effects of Property Transformation and Marginal Gap Depending on Heat-Treatment of Metal-Porcelain by Gold Electro-Forming System

The objective of this paper is to study on the property transformation for materials and to evaluate the precision through marginal gap depending on heat-treatment of metal-porcelain by the gold electro-forming system. Specimens for evaluating property of hardness treat non-treat(HC), once(H1), twice(H2), and three times(H3) by heating, respectively. Specimens for marginal gap classified as each groups of special bonder(FS), special bonder, opaque(FO), special bonder, opaque, body(FB) and non-treatment(FC). As a result for micro-hardness test, the level of hardness on each groups of H1, H2, H3 decreased rather than HC group(p<0.05). In addition, marginal gap was not affected by the number of times being treated by heating. Therefore, the marginal fitness and the precision for mterials were not affected by the heat-treatment on the process to make GES metal-porcelain.
Evaluating Surface dose of Treatment Immobilization Devices according to their Electron Energy

This study evaluated surface dose of treatment immobilization devices such as Themo-plastic, Vac-lock, Cotton and Plaster according to their electron energy. Using a linear accelerater, a plane parallel chamber was set up on 6Mev, 9Mev, 12Mev and 15Mev. A distance between a source and a surface was 100cm and a field size was 10cm*10cm. An incident angle was 0 degree and a radiation dose was 100MU. To decrease an error, the measurement repeated 3 times. The analysis reveals that the surface dose of Vac-lock was the highest and Themo-plastic, Plaster and Cotton were high in order.
Massage Therapy of Electrical Chair-Massager Effects on EEG Patterns

The aim of this study was to evaluate effects of EEG patterns induced by three types ((1) resting mode(control group), (2) light massage mode, (3) strong massage mode in the electrical chair-massager for 15 minutes) in a sample of 16 healthy adults. Changes in anxiety and stress were assessed, and electroencephalogram was recorded. Anxiety scores(STAI: State Anxiety Inventory, VAS: Visual Analog Scale) decreased in all groups. For anxiety scores, the strong massage group showed the greatest decrease in stress. All groups also showed an increase in delta and theta activity, but only strong massage group showed a signigicant difference. All groups showed a decrease in alpha activity. Also, EEG changes in two groups except a control group showed a decrease in beta activity.
Fundamental Acoustic Investigation of Korean Male 5 Monophthongs

Numerous quantitative and qualitative studies have already been published related to English vowels. However, only minimal amounts of studies based on the acoustic analysis of Korean vowels have been accomplished. The purpose of this study is to obtain sufficient quantitative data based on the acoustic aspects of Korean vowels produced by males between the ages of 20s and 30s. A total of 31 males in their 20s and 30s produced the five fundamental vowels /a, e, i, o, u/ by repeating each of them three times in the standard Korean dialect. Such speech productions were recorded with 'Cool edit' and F1, F2, F3, F4 were extracted through the MATLAB acoustic analysis program. Results indicated that the overall patterns of formants were similar to previous studies, except that the formant levels of F1 and F2 of the vowels produced in this study were generally lower than that in previous studies. Future studies need to focus on obtaining vowel data by considering other factors such as age and other speech materials.

Impact of the Customer Orientation and Job Satisfaction as a Result of the Consultant's Emotional Exhaustion at the Call Center

This research studied the impact of the customer orientation and job satisfaction by lowering the desire of the kind for customers and the desire for fulfillment as a result of emotional exhaustion of the consultant who performs emotion labor at the call center. This research sets study model and hypothesis to verify that call center consultant's emotional exhaustion how to effect customer orientation and job satisfaction. We took questionnaires from 157 call center(financial institutes) consultant's in Seoul for the verification of the hypothesis. I show that the consultant's emotional exhaustion had negatively affected the customer orientation and job satisfaction. In this paper proposed the importance that the experience of the consultant's emotional exhaustion who is the main agent of the performance should be minimized by removing ad improving the factors to lower emotion exhaustion through lowering time pressure in the work performance reduce the consultant's emotional exhaustion, granting work autonomy and authority, and active support of relevant departments and the ongoing communication between the managers and consultant This study makes a significant meaning in that it proposed the consultant's emotional exhaustion was negative factor on the customer orientation and job satisfaction factor in operating call center worker.
Factors Influencing the Post Acceptance Behavior of User in the Internet Banking

The primary purpose of this paper is to identify the influencing factors on the post acceptance behavior of user in internet banking. For this purpose, a research model and hypotheses are developed based on the relevant literature reviews. Data have been collected from 248 users who have used internet banking and the research hypotheses were tested by covariance structural model analysis. The results of this empirical study are summarized as follows. First, security, confirmation, and perceived ease of use have positive influence upon user's perceived usefulness. Second, security, economy efficiency, and confirmation have positive influence upon user's satisfaction. Third, loyalty incentives have positive influence upon continuance intention. Lastly, user's perceived usefulness have positive effect on the satisfaction, and user's perceived usefulness and satisfaction positively related to continuance intention in internet banking. The findings have significant implications for internet banking service providers.
Social Network Analysis on Interdisciplinary Collaboration of Convergence Technologies Specialists

Converging technologies have become a major issue in science policy. This paper describes the current state of scientific collaboration for convergent technologies among researchers in South Korea, by conducting Social Network Analysis (SNA) with the data set of 1,095 researchers who have involved in the development of the convergent technologies. It is found that the researchers in convergent technology are more productive than the researchers in other technology domains. However, the researchers in convergent technologies have small number of collaborators, compared with their productivity. Only a few researchers have a role of the hub in the collaboration networks, meaning that the structure network is closer to than the core than the peripheral. The scientific collaboration network of the convergent technology researchers shows that the members of the network are close to each other, but there is small number of cliques.
Effect of the Learning Orientation on Organizational Cynicism in the Hotel Industry : Moderating Effect of Organization-Based Self-Esteem

This study was proceeded to find out the effect of learning orientation on the organizational cynicism by introducing organization-based self esteem as a moderating variable. For the experimental study 400 questionnaires were distributed to employees working in deluxe hotel in Seoul and 236 responses were used for the analysis. With SPSS statistical program reliability test, confirmatory factor analysis, and regression analysis were performed. The study found that the learning orientation had a significant effect on organizational cynicism and organizational-based self-esteem had a moderating effect between learning orientation and organizational cynicism.

This study aimed to explore the relationships among human capitals, organizational commitments, innovative behaviors of employees in a deluxe hotel in Seoul. The results of this study are, human capitals have a direct impact on organizational commitments, and innovative behaviors. and organizational commitments directly influence to innovative behaviors.. And organizational commitments have a mediating effect partially between human capitals and innovative behaviors. These results suggest that the new direction of the importance of human resource managements on accumulating human capitals in organization and the importance of organizational commitments of employees on competing environments in the hotel industry for competitive advantage.

The purpose of this study is to difference of the recognition for self-efficacy which staffs of deluxe hotel. This study aimed at: The first, I measure recognizing for self-efficacy which staffs at the first grade Hotel and the second grade hotel. The second, self-efficacy is factor analyzes for the study. The third, I study a difference of self-efficacy the first grade Hotel and between the second grade Hotel staffs. To research and analyze, survey was conducted to 400 employees working at deluxe hotels in Seoul and 352 survey data were analyzed. The results come up with: The first, As for the recognition of self-efficacy the first grade Hotel and the second grade Hotel staffs, there was the difference that a level of significance. The second, marriage, major, educational background, work period and income level were the difference that a level of significance.

This finding is contribute to the understanding of festival attendee behavior, to give useful suggestion to festival's effective development and management. Quality of festival the research which precedes in the object measuring element in the center escape. Integral part the service quality of festival escape, service quality integral part of at that resultant festival 5 dimensions became escape. Development of Integrated Slopes Database System for Real-Time Global Web Service

The main contribution of this paper is to propose the integrated database schema from several research projects included in "The Next Generation New Technology for Rock-falling and Landsliding Project". Furthermore this paper describes the development of integrated standard database system for the slopes databases. We also develop and implement the global real time web service system in order to provide one-stop data service for the slopes. In this paper, the new integrated database paradigm for rock-fall and landsliding data is designed and proposed and also data management system is developed based on the global web service system.
Evaluation of Balance and Activities of Daily Living in Children with Spastic Cerebral Palsy using Virtual Reality Program with Electronic Games

The aim of this study were to examine the effects of virtual reality program on balance and activities of daily living in children with spastic cerebral palsy (CP) using the Pediatric Balance Scale (PBS) and the Functional Independence Measure for Children (WeeFIM), and to measure relationship between the PBS and the WeeFIM. For this, A total of 20 spastic CP classified as the Gross Motor Function Classification System (GMFCS) I and II were employed. The Participant's were allocated randomly to 2 groups: a virtual reality group (n=10) and the control group (n=10). Both groups received muscle strengthening exercise for 3 sessions, 30 minutes per week over a 12 week period. The virtual reality group practiced additional virtual reality program. The virtual reality group showed significant increases in balance (p<0.05) and activities of daily living (p<0.05). There were a significant correlation between the PBS and the WeeFIM (p<0.05). Application of the virtual reality program to treat the spastic CP will be feasible and suitable. And the PBS was a useful tool to predict activities of daily living in the spastic CP.
