Design of EPG Information Player System using DCT based Blind Watermark

While the broadband network and multimedia technologies have been developing, the commercial market of digital contents has also been widely spreading with recently starting IPTV. Generally, PC player can display digital contents obtained through middleware like a settop box and can only bring the informations about contents like CODEC, bitrate etc. useful for only experts. But general users want to know more optional informations like content's subject, description etc. So unlike previous PC player, we proposed a player system that can get inserted informations, namely EPG(Electronic Program Guide), without database after bringing contents to PC through settop box. In addition, we also proposed DCT(Discrete Cosine Transform) based blind watermark generating method to insert EPG informations. We can extract watermark without original image and insert robust watermark in proportion to coefficients in frequency domain. And we analyzed and parsed PSI data from MPEG-TS. So we could insert wanted information using watermark from EPG. And we composed UI by extracting EPG information from watermark interted contents. Finally we modularized whole system into the watermark insert/extract application and directshow filter based player. So we tried to design this system so that the general developer can do in a way that is easier and faster.
Extraction of Subject Size in Still Image Using Floor Pattern

This paper aims to realize the information of a subject existing in a still image with objective values. To attain the goal, this research takes the vanishing point that a 2D still image has as the basis and recomposes the still image into a 3D image using a 3D program. Also, in order to set up the axis of the camera necessary to recompose a 3D image, this paper used the lens angle of view that the image has and floor patterns as well. The 3D image completed in this way can measure the size and distance of all subjects in the floor patterns if the size value of a particular reference subject is known, and through this, it can be possible to acquire basic information of a subject that can be either a criminal or a clue in the images of CCTVs or some criminal scene.
WeWhere:A Multiple User Location Tracking System of Smart Phones

According that smart phones have been widely used, their users can easily access various information around the devices through location information services equipped to the smart phone devices. In this paper, we propose a WeWhere which is a system of client-server model for providing the current location among several smart phone users in real time. A client-side smartphone user send to a server his/her current location obtained by applying location information service provided from smart phones and receive location information of all smartphone users connected to the user from the server. The all location information is displayed on a smartphone of a user in client-side and users can track location of their related users. All most 200,000 persons in the world have used the proposed system, WeWhere, normally without overloading of a server system.
Sleep Disturbance Classification Using PCA and Sleep Stage 2

This paper presents a methodology for classifying sleep disturbance using electroencephalogram (EEG) signal at sleep stage 2 and principal component analysis. For extracting initial features, fast Fourier transforms(FFT) were carried out to remove some noise from EEG signal at sleep stage 2. In the second phase, we used principal component analysis to reduction from EEG signal that was removed some noise by FFT to 5 features. In the final phase, 5 features were used as inputs of NEWFM to get performance results. The proposed methodology shows that accuracy rate, specificity rate, and sensitivity were all 100%.
Hangul Password System for Preventing Shoulder-Surfing

Although conventional text-based passwords are used as the most common authentication method, they have significant drawbacks such as guess attacks, dictionary attacks, key loggers, and shoulder-surfing. To address the vulnerabilities of traditional text-based passwords, graphical password schemes have been developed as possible alternative solutions, but they have a potential drawback that they are more vulnerable to shoulder-surfing than conventional text-based passwords. In this paper, we present a new Hangul password input method to prevent shoulder-surfing attacks. Our approach uses Hangul as a password, and it requires the users to locate their password in the given wheeling password grid instead of entering the password. Our approach makes it difficult for attackers to observe a user's password since the system shows the users' passwords with decoy characters as the noise on the screen. Also, we provide security analysis for random attacks, dictionary attacks, and shoulder-surfing attacks, and it shows that our password system is robust against these attacks.
EEG Analysis of Learning Attitude Change of Female College Student on e-Learning

Using EEG, human physiological signal, as part of research which investigates the state of student learning and provides appropriate feedback to maximize learning efficiency, the relationship of learning attitude and analysis of EEG for female college student is presented. We study the reaction of learner's EEG using the concentration level extracted from the EEG power spectrum when students learn at various learning attitude. The experiment was conducted for the concentrating on learning and, as a control group, erratic attitude and closed eyes state. The attitude of concentrated Learning shows high concentration index and low relaxation index, where as the erratic attitude, such as eye movement and clicking, shows high level of attention index and noisy wave ratio. Especially, the state of closed eyes shows the ratio of alpha and theta wave under 1. This is distinct with open eyes cases.
Moving Picture Compression using Frame Classification by Luminance Characteristics

This paper proposes an efficient moving picture compression for video sequences with luminance variations. In the proposed algorithm, the luminance variation parameters are estimated and local motions are compensated. To detect the frame required luminance compensation, we employ the frame classification based on the cross entropy between histograms of two successive frames, which can reduce the computational redundancy. Simulation results show that the proposed method yields a higher peak signal to noise ratio (PSNR) than that of the conventional methods, with a low computational load, when the video scene contains large luminance variations.
Development of a Flatbed Scanner for Reflection Infrared Photography

At this time, digital cameras are used in art and forensic science. However, the digital camera has some limitations which need to understand of photograph and lighting. It is a useful paper to make an infrared flatbed scanner. The following processes offer an infrared flatbed scanner development. First, the infrared flatbed scanner changes visible fluorescent lamp to infrared LED. Second, it equips a long-pass filter, which is available to pass over 810nm wavelength, on the glass to complete the optimal infrared flatbed scanner. In addition, it must copy from digital camera to computer directly. The infrared digital camera has disadvantage to always irradiate infrared lamp. Because of difference between visible length and infrared length characteristic, they have different focal distance. This devised scanner for solving mentioned problems does not need to irradiate infrared lamp, and there is not a problem about focal point because the depth of field of flatbed scanner is minimum 2mm. Lastly, the infrared flatbed scanner can make high resolution which is 12,800dpi unlike digital camera. Accordingly, the infrared scanner looks forward to be used in many field of study.
DCT-Based Images Retrieval for Rotated Images

The image retrieval generally shows the same or similar images to a query image as a result. In the case of rotated image, however, its performance tends to be debased significantly. We propose a method to ensure a reliable image retrieval of rotated images as follows; First, to obtain feature points of query/DB images by Harris Corner Detector; and then, utilizing the feature points, to find the object's axis and query/DB images into rotation invariant images with Principal Components Analysis algorithm. We have experimented with 6,000 natural images which are 256 pixels in diameter. They are 1,000 Wang's images and their rotated images by
. The simulation results show that the proposed method retrieves rotated images more effectively than the conventional method.
Characteristics of Input-Output Spaces of Fuzzy Inference Systems by Means of Membership Functions and Performance Analyses

To do fuzzy modelling of a nonlinear process needs to analyze the characteristics of input-output of fuzzy inference systems according to the division of entire input spaces and the fuzzy reasoning methods. For this, fuzzy model is expressed by identifying the structure and parameters of the system by means of input variables, fuzzy partition of input spaces, and consequence polynomial functions. In the premise part of the fuzzy rules Min-Max method using the minimum and maximum values of input data set and C-Means clustering algorithm forming input data into the clusters are used for identification of fuzzy model and membership functions are used as a series of triangular, gaussian-like, trapezoid-type membership functions. In the consequence part of the fuzzy rules fuzzy reasoning is conducted by two types of inferences such as simplified and linear inference. The identification of the consequence parameters, namely polynomial coefficients, of each rule are carried out by the standard least square method. And lastly, using gas furnace process which is widely used in nonlinear process we evaluate the performance and the system characteristics.
Cloud-Oriented XML Metadata Generation between Heterogeneous Navigation Systems for Unknown Roads

The roadmap DB update for unknown roads is a very important factor for car navigation systems. In this paper, we propose a cloud computing based roadmap generation method for use between heterogeneous navigation system for unknown roads. While the drivers drive on unknown roads, the proposed method extracts the road attribute information, and then generates the metadata in an XML format that is available for the heterogeneous navigation systems in a cloud environment. The metadata is proposed to be used as a replacement for conventional proprietary roadmap formats which used by roadmap providers, which is efficient for heterogeneous navigation system providers in a cloud computing environment. Then, this metadata is provided to the roadmap DB providers through the cloud computing interfaces. With the proposed method, the roadmap DB providers update the own roadmap DB for navigation systems in real time. Therefore, the proposed method can reduce the costs of an actual traveling test and the maintenance for the roadmap DB provides. Thus, the cloud-oriented road map generation method can more efficiently update the unknown road information.
Comparing of Blind Watermarking Method using DWT and CAT

In this paper, we propose a novel blind digital watermarking method based on a cellular automata transform (CAT). CAT is based on dynamic systems known as cellular automata(CA) and uses transform bases which are differently defined by a rule number, the number of neighbors, the number of cells, and an initial state, etc. The proposed CAT based method is compared with a blind watermarking method based on DWT which is commonly used for a domain transform in signal processing. We analyse properties on changes of DWT coefficients and CAT coefficients under various attacks and determine optimal parameters for a watermarking method robust to attacks. The simulations show that the watermarked images with high PSNR and MSSIM look visually identical to originals and are robust against most of typical image processing attacks. Moreover, the proposed CAT based watermarking method is superior to the DWT based one in robustness to most of typical image processing attacks including JPEG compression, median and average filtering, scaling, cropping, and histogram equalization.
Development of Real Time Monitoring System based on Context-awareness for Wireless Sensor Networks

Due to recent development in wireless communication technologies and mobile information devices, the services on ubiquitous computing technology without time and place restriction have been spotlighted. Moreover, the interest of the Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) and context-awareness technologies have largely been escalating and their technologies utilization is active in the various applications such as healthcare, farm management and so on. However, the direct adaption of the existing context-awareness technique to the WSN technology has several drawbacks as follows. First, such systems waste precious energy of sensor nodes, due to unnecessary data transmissions. Secondly, since the existing work was designed to support only specific applications, it is required to implement a new context-awareness application for a specific purpose. Therefore, we, in this paper, propose a new real-time monitoring system based on context-awareness in WSNs. Our system not only enhances energy efficiency by reducing data transmissions by doing context-awareness on a sensor node, but also is scalable in terms of supporting new context-awareness functionalities through modularization.
Designing Mobile Application for Improvement in Public Understanding of Blood Donation

Korean Blood Services have grown with history of half a century or more, and in its developing process, technological growth have contributed largely toward it. However, Korean Red Cross and public blood centers are finding difficulty in their business because the public doesn't feel necessity of blood donation and have distrust in current blood management system. Recently, smart phone shows new possibility to the modern life as it plays a role of micro PC. With this tendency, mobile application is being highlighted as a new media. Therefore this paper aims to propose an application called 'Nanumi'(tentatively named) to improve negative awareness about blood donation. For specific development suggestion, I analyzed existing theses and applications. Also, I interviewed experts in blood management and did a public survey to firm up necessity and appropriateness of this research. In this paper, I proposed structure of functions and UI design for the application.
Visual Tactility in Web-based Digital Contents

Visual tactility implies feelings of touch through sight. To be exact, the eyes are doing the touch rather than the body and the subject concerned will experience the sensation of touch by looking at an object similar to that of physical touch. This is quasi tactility to put it simply and it can be defined as to touch with the eyes. This can not only provide opportunities to experience something close to reality but also another completely different form of modern experience. Experiencing visual tactility through the use of the web permits lavish communication between the user and the designer. This paper has reorganize the concept of visual tactility, characteristic and way to use in digital contents. Visual tactility stimulates the users' emotion as such. If it was to be utilized to develop edutainment contents or web sites will foster children's capability to develope problem solving skills and raise efficiency in creative learning, and prolong the period of concentration in order to encourage revisits to the place and extend the time of stay.
Creating Cartoon Contents for the Aged : with Special Reference to 'Sex Education' Cartoon

Despite the importance of sexual life of the aged, it is almost disregarded due to the Confucius value system and bias. The common people's view on the sex of the aged was clearly demonstrated by their attitude toward a movie entitled "I love it though I might die" which was determined "18 Age over"being awareness of its explicit sexual intercourse and several lied on the discussion. For this reason, the sex of the aged is clandestinely revealed and uses to receive publicity for sexual assault for children, sexual crime, and illegal prostitution in parks. And social atmosphere that prevents open discussion of the sexof the aged increases in the number of suffering aged in reality, and it causes the decrease of life quality of them. In this circumstance, cartoon contents can be perfectly used for sex education for them. Entertainment character and genre character of cartoon contents can deliver the understanding of sex rather voluntarily and easily to the aged and it can be used as a tool to motivate by indirect experience and to enhance efficient understanding.

Study of Synergy Effects of Collaboration in News Program between TV Reporter & Producer - Focusing on KBS 2TV

To get an implication for desirable direction for Collaboration between Reporter & Producer, I found that
had 4 modes of collaboration such as, Producer System, Reporter System, Double Reporting System, Co-Work System, and each was distinguished by field cover, on-mic, editing, writing. Producer system and Reporter system got no chemical synergy because of simple array of single reports due to physical assemble. The achievements of collaboration was birth of new news which had different duration, visual, sound & perspective. It also offered fertile soil for new program and genre literacy of 8 o'clock news. The success factor of collaboration was surprisingly turned out to be personnel rather than system. The balance of reporter & producer was also good factor. But the wall between 2 groups was so high that, after disappearance of extraordinary leader, system began to crumble and at last program was repealed.

The Research of Industrial Application through Digitalization of the Jewelry of Imperial Princess YEONG

Historically, Korea has made and weaved beautiful jewelry based on delicate metal craft technique. Especially jewelries in Chosun dynasty among these jewelry shows practicality, fanciness and social symbolism at the same time, which is one of representative cultural origins to express characteristics of Korean culture. Since jewelry of imperial princess YEONG, an object of a study herein, was made for a court ceremony although it is an artifact of the end of Chosun dynasty after the time of enlightenment, it is expected be made based on traditional shape and standard in accordance with strictly respected court dress code in Chosun dynasty. It is also an important data of research for a court style and system as well as its artistry in its diversity of type, preservation condition similar to original form and its producers who are master craftsman parted in Sang-Uiwon (an institute in charge of dress and accessaries of court) at the end of dynasty. Thus, a study herein aims to research formatively valuable 11 selected jewelries among jewelries of imperial princess YEONG used at the end of Chosun dynasty, and search for industrial application method with digitalization of the shape and design and preservation of original form of traditional culture. Moreover, in accordance with proposing design data through review of traditional women jewelry, it aims to suggest possibility of application into modern jewelry design and cultural industry.

The development of projection technology produces series of discussions associated to various form of visual immersing possibilities by the way of projecting image directly to the obscure surface surrounded us. Besides, the significance can be found in terms of that this kind of image projection offers chance to citizens to enjoy high standard images and makes people consider media environment of city. Video art as the digital technology grafts penetrates formative space of city by projecting images. The certain thing about questions how the media has status in city is that media is now not existing for self neither for abstractly and virtual reality is existing in the general appearance of metropolis. It accesses about the meaning of video form visual art in big city- new reality, the virtual and the real, immersion and interactivity. Effect of Feedback Methods and Ambulatory Assistive Aids on Accuracy of Partial Weight Bearing

The purpose of this study was to investigate effect of feedback methods and ambulatory assistive aids on accuracy of partial weight bearing in healthy adults. Twenty subjects were recruited and trained to 30% weight bearing of body weight (BW) using 3-point gait crutches and wheeled walker pattern. Dynamic feedback group (n=11) was received dynamic postresponse feedback and static group (n=9) received static feedback. Force plate was used to measure %BW and GAITRite used to measure gait parameters in immediately and after 3 days of training. Immediately after training, there was not significantly at 30%BW target load in dynamic group with crutch gait (p>.05). There were significantly differences in %BW according to feedback methods and ambulatory aids (p<.05). There was not significant difference between immediately and after 3 days of training (p>0.05). There were significantly differences in gait velocity and stance ratio between crutches and wheeled walker gait (p<.05). Thus, it was suggested that if possible, use crutches, training for partial weight bearing via dynamic feedback is necessary.
Automatic Detecting and Tracking Algorithm of Joint of Human Body using Human Ratio

There have been studying many researches to detect human body and to track one with increasing interest on human and computer interaction. In this paper, we propose the algorithm that automatically extracts joints, linked points of human body, using the ratio of human body under single camera and tracks object. The proposed method gets the difference images of the grayscale images and ones of the hue images between input image and background image. Then the proposed method composes the results, splits background and foreground, and extracts objects. Also we standardize the ratio of human body using face' length and the measurement of human body and automatically extract joints of the object using the ratio and the corner points of the silhouette of object. After then, we tract the joints' movement using block-matching algorithm. The proposed method is applied to test video to be acquired through a camera and the result shows that the proposed method automatically extracts joints and effectively tracks the detected joints.
Using an Intervention Model for Occupational Therapy Service Specialist Based on a Special Education Supporting Center

The purpose of this study was to survey the intervention model, intervention settings, intervention time, factors influencing selection of intervention model, relationship between intervention model and areas which supporting center for special education based occupational therapist was using. Study data were provided by 46 therapy supporting service professionals through e-mail and analyzed. The findings indicated that first, the therapy supporting service professionals often employed a direct therapy(individual) focusing on performance component of child. Second, they believed that direct therapy is most effective in improving children's performance and raising awareness of the importance of occupational therapy. Third, when choose intervention model, they took into consideration the child's performance components deficits and mind of team chief. Fourth, no correlation between the application time and the perception of effectiveness of intervention model. Also didn't find correlation between applying time of intervention model and intervention area. When putting the various research result together, the model school-based occupational therapists using was similar to medical model. Therefore it is need a study to develop effective intervention model and apply it in school environment.
Relationship between Muscle Sizes from Ultrasound Images and Endurance Time with/without Experience of Low Back Pain : Pattern of Recruiting Trunk Muscles

The purpose of the study was to examine the thickness of the trunk muscles ie. external obliques (EO), transversus abdominis (TrA), and multifidus and the trunk endurance strength in order to determine any relationship between the presence or absence of low back pain (LBP) and the size of trunk muscles. Data were obtained from 50 subjects, aged between 19-29 years. Participants had no experience of spinal problems that had resulted in a restriction of normal activity or time-off work and no current spinal symptoms. Measurements of muscle thickness of the trunk muscles were collected at rest, contraction and 15 seconds of post contraction during endurance strength tests. Background information was obtained followed all physical measures. Subjects were divided into two groups based on their experience of LBP. In draw-in maneuver, increasing the thickness of TrA was observed in all participants while EO was decreased at contraction in group 1 and increase in group 2. Only subjects in the group 2 had TrA increased during the flexion endurance test. In the side-bridge endurance test, the thickness of the right TrA was also observed differently between groups. Therefore, the results of the study may suggest that a function of specific muscle should be addressed for training persons with LBP.
Radiation dose and Lifetime Attributable Risk of Cancer Estimates in 64-slice Multidetector Computed Tomography

This study was to estimate the radiation dose associated with 64-slice multidetector CT(MDCT) in clinical practice and quantify the potential cancer risk associated with these examinations. Lifetime attributable risks(LAR) were estimated with models developed in the national Academies' Biological Effects of Ionizing Radiation VII report. Mean effective dose were 1.48mSv in Brain axial scan, 7.66mSv in chest routine contrast, 12.17mSv in coronary angiogram, 24.52mSv in Dynamic abdomen scan. LAR estimates for brain routine varied from 1 in 7463 for man to 1 in 4926 for women. In chest routine with contrast, LAR varied from 1 in 1449 for men to 1 in 952. LAR of Abdomen dynamic CT varied from 1 in 453 for men to 1 in 298 for women. So, 64-slice MDCT scan is associated with non-negligible LAR of cancer. Doses can be reduced by careful attention to scanning protocol.

Cognitive-communicative disorders after traumatic brain injury(TBI) and right hemisphere damage(RHD) are different from other neurological disorders in nature. Therefore, it is not desirable to use aphasia tests in evaluating individuals with TBI or RHD. The aim of this study is to review assessment protocols on TBI and RHD, and literature related with them. As a result, it is recommended that individuals with TBI be examined in scope of the cognition including attention, memory, organization, reasoning, as well as the functional communication. Similarly, it is useful to consider high-order language related to various cognitive domains in assessing cognitive-communicative ability after RHD. In conclusion, we need to focus on the overall cognitive-communicative domains in an evaluative process of TBI and RHD. Furthermore, it is necessary to develop multiple items for individuals with cognitivecommunicative disorders for the purpose of differentiating these heterogeneous groups from other neurological disorders such as aphasia, and of making good use of them as a therapeutic manual.

The purpose of this study is suggesting proper management methods for the national health expenditures by considering advanced countries and analysing the problems of national health expenditures management in korea. The majors results of the research are as follows. First, most advanced countries is integrating the management of national health expenditures about health insurance, workmen's accident compensation insurance and auto insurance etc, and medical prices and benefit standards are same regardless of insurance type. Second, national health expenditures has been managing separately by national health systems in korea, and there are many problems like the differences medical expenditure review and payment, medical prices and benefit standards etc. Although same symptoms and disease, there is great difference in health service utilization. Hereafter, management system of national health expenditures must be integrated, and must change same medical prices and benefit standards.

And then experimental groups were randomly divided into four groups; GroupI: MCAO induction, GroupII: application of tDCS(10 min) after MCAO induction, GroupIII: application of tDCS(20 min) after MCAO induction, GroupIV: application of tDCS(30 min) after MCAO induction. Modified limb placing test and single pellet reaching test were performed to test forelimb sensorimotor function. And the histological examination was also observed through the immunohistochemistric response of GAP-43(growth-associated protein-43) in the cerebral cortex. Effects of Vestibule-Oriented Sensory Integration Treatment on the Nystagmus, Visual Perception and Balancing Ability of Children with Developmental Disability

The purpose of this research was to investigate the effects of vestibule-oriented sensory integration treatment on the nystagmus, visual perception and balancing ability of children with developmental disability. Twenty three children with developmental disability were participated in this experiment. Subjects were received the vestibule-oriented sensory integration treatment based on Ayres' sensory integration theory for 12 weeks. The effects of the treatment were evaluated by Southern California Postrotary Nystagmus Test (SCPNT), Developmental Test of Visual Perception-2 (DTVP-2), Pediatric-Clinical Test of Sensory Integration Balance (P-CTSIB), South California Sensory Integration Test (SCSIT) and the selected item in Bruininks-Oeretsky Test of motor proficiency (BOT). The collected data were analyzed by using Wilcoxon test. The result of this study was as follows that the data of the Nystagmus shown statical significant. The data of the Visual Perception and Balancing ability shown statical significant. The proposed vestibule-oriented sensory integration treatment was effective to improvement of nystagmus, the visual perception and the balancing ability in children with Developmenantal Disability.
Influences of Demographic, Smoking, and Smoking Cessation Factors on Smoking Cessation Success in Adolescent Smokers

This study aimed to identify success factors of smoking cessation for 6 months in Adolescent smokers. Data were collected from January to December, 2008. The 925 adolescent smokers were registered smoking cessation clinic at public health center in Incheon. Data(demographic, smoking, smoking cessation) were analyzed by logistic regression. Major factors are attempting to quit smoking(no trial, OR=9.48), alcohol drinking(yes, OR=4.61), information source for registration(family, friends's ask, OR=3.94), cessation methods(cognitive+behavior+ nicotine alternative therapy, OR=2.45), gender(male, OR=1.78), grade in school(high schooler, OR=1.65), expiration CO concentration (OR=0.95), and nicotine dependency(OR=0.76). Therefore, smoking cessation policy for adolescence should be emphasized on smoking prevention as well as smoking cessation. We have to help the adolescent to succeed in smoking cessation when they attempt to quit smoking at first time. Female student smokers and middle school smokers should be given advice for smoking cessation motives and more times of counselling for smoking cessation. If adolescent smokers have high expiration CO concentration and high nicotine dependency, they should not only take cognitive-behavior therapy but also nicotine alternative therapy.
Performance Evaluation of a Clinical Decision Support System for Drug Prescriptions

The goal of this paper is to examine the effects of a CDSS(Clinical Decision Support System) for drug prescription on organizational performance in medical institutions using POC(Point Of Care) systems. For achieving this goal, evaluation factors for influencing performance of information system were identified by using the performance evaluation model for CDSS. In the results, there was significant causality between each evaluation domain except system quality domain. In addition, the system quality of CDSS for optimal drug prescription has no influence on user satisfaction. But information quality has positive influence on user satisfaction which has also a positive influence on organizational performance.
Relations Among Motivation to Lead, Leadership Behavior, and Performance

The current study is an attempt, in two separate surveys, to explore the role of motivation to lead, which has rarely been introduced into academic leadership research in Korea. For the survey and statistical analysis, the population is defined as the employees working in Korea. The motivation to lead is considered important in practices since without it any leadership development interventions show less possibility to succeed. The motivation to lead was defined in terms of three dimensions as in affective motivation, socio-normative motivation, and non-calculative motivation(Chen & Drasgow, 2001). The study then empirically explored the potential relationships between the three dimensions and leadership styles. Specifically, such leadership styles as transformational leadership, transactional leadership, and self-sacrificial leadership behavior have been correlated to motivation to lead. In addition, using regression analysis, the explanatory power of the motivation to lead on various dependent variables were investigated. As a result, the three dimensions of motivation to lead, that is, affective, socio-normative, and non-calculative motivations each were found to have strong correlations with transformational, transactional, and self-sacrificial leadership, as well as with other criterion-related variables such as organizational commitment and trust. Limitations of the current study, along with future research directions were also discussed.

Formation of Trust by Duration of Relationship in Services Setting

This paper is to identifies relationship between service quality, trust toward employees, trust toward store and store loyalty by investigate how service quality influences on trust toward employees and trust toward store, and its, in turn, influence on store loyalty and explain the moderating effect in relationships between service quality and trust toward employees, and service qualty and trust toward store in bank services setting. A survey study was conducted to collect the data with the actual service purchasers at domestic mayor banks. Analysis of structural equation modeling with AMOS 18.0 was performed to test the research hypothesis. The results of the study are as follows: First, it was found to the moderating effect in relationships between empathy dimension of service quality and trust toward employees, and assurance dimension of service quality and trust toward store. Second, service quality shows differential effects on both trust toward employees and trust toward store by dimension but trust toward employees influence on both trust toward store and it, in turn, influence on store loyalty. To sum up, it have to build empathy of service quality for increase of trust toward their customer who have high duration of relationship and have to build assurance of service quality for increase of trust toward store in bank service settings.
Relationship between Transformational Leadership and Innovative Behavior

This study has three primary purposes, firstly to identify how leader's personal characters influence to his/her transformational leadership, secondly to find how transformational leadership influences to innovative behavior, finally to explore how organizational cultures moderate between transformational leadership and innovative behavior. The first part of the study, based on literature study on transformational leadership, provides insight into what are antecedents, moderators and dependent variable in transformational leadership. Firstly, leader's personal characters are selected as antecedent variables such as extroversion and self-efficacy. Secondly, innovative behavior is introduced as a dependent variable. Thirdly, two types of organizational culture are considered as moderators between leader's personal character and leadership In this study, a comprehensive research model and hypothesis were empirically tested based on data from three types of questionnaires involving 663 employees in Korean organizations. In order to test the hypotheses, we have used Structural Equations Model (SEM) from AMOS7.0. In this analysis, we have employed raw data as it is instead of correlation matrix or covariance matrix. We have tested hypotheses by examining the significance of each path of the model, and gone through the process of testing the goodness of fit of the model itself. The results of statistical analysis show the following. Firstly, one of leader's personalities, self-efficacy has positive effect on his/her transformational leadership, but extroversion does not have positive effect. Secondly, transformational leadership has positive effect on innovative behavior. Finally, there was not any cultural moderating effects between transformational leadership and innovative behavior.
Effect of Security Manager's Servant Leadership on the Cohesion and Organization Outcome

The purpose of this study is to clarify the impact on cohesiveness and organizational performance of the servant leadership of the security manager. The subjects of study selected final 287 persons by using the systematic random sampling for security companies in Seoul in 2009. However, the number of cases used in the final analysis is 256 persons. Reliability of the questionnaire used in this study showed that the value of Cronbach's
was above 0.796. The collected data used the methods such as factor analysis, reliability analysis, and multiple regression analysis etc. by using SPSSWIN 17.0. The conclusions are as follows. First, servant leadership has a positive impact on cohesiveness. Second, one of the factors of servant leadership, trust, has a positive impact on organizational performance. Third, individual, social cohesiveness and group cohesiveness among the factors of cohesiveness have a positive impact on organizational performance. Fourth, with the results of path analysis, servant leadership has direct impact on organizational effectiveness and indirect impact through cohesiveness. In other words, a servant leadership among the leaderships that a security worker is conscious of administrator affects cohesiveness and organizational performance in management to promote the management of the organization.
Influence of Strategic Human Resource Management of on Organizational Culture and Organizational Citizenship Behavior of Private Facility Security Guards

The objective of this study is to find out how strategic human resource management(SHRM) of a facility security firm affects its organizational culture and behaviors of its members. This study was executed in June 2010 with facility security officers(FSO) in four private security firms by using a judgment sampling technique. A total of 343 FSOs were used in final analysis. Coefficient of reliability(Cronbach's coefficient alpha) of the survey was 0.691. The conclusion was as follows: First, SHRM of facility security firms exert its influence on organizational culture. That is, promotion of education/training, compensation, making avid followers, and career development may facilitate settlement of hierarchical, development-oriented, agreement -based and rationality-oriented culture. Second, SHRM of security firms would affect organizational citizenship behaviors(OCB), i.e., the promotion of education/training, compensation, making avid followers, and career development would tend to enhance consideration for others and altruistic, participatory, conscientious and gentlemanly behaviors. On the other hand, if proper compensation is not made, above-mentioned behaviors would decrease. Third, organizational culture of security firms tends to affect OCB. That is, when hierarchical, development-oriented, agreement-based and rationality-oriented culture is settled, consideration for others, altruistic, participatory, conscientious and gentlemanly behaviors tends to be enhanced.
Structural Relationship among Regional Identity, Team Identification, and Re-attend Intention

The research for the regional identity including relationships with professional sport team was caused by local autonomy system and localism. This study was to verify structural relationships among regional identity, team identification and re-attend intention of professional soccer spectators. Data were collected from spectators of professional soccer game in 'D' metropolitan city. Using purposive sampling method, a total of 397 samples were used for analysis. The statistical techniques for data analysis were descriptive analysis, frequency analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, and structural equation modeling by SPSS 15.0 and AMOS 7 programs. The results of this study were that regional identity have a positive effects on team identification. Also, team identification have a positive effects on re-attend intention. Theoretical and practical implications and future research directions were provided.
Relationship between the HVM and Cut-Off Level of Means-End Chain

The Means-end theory has successfully been applied in academics circles and is one of the qualitative methodologies, aiming at classifying into groups based on the specific values that they pursue. The more specific purposes of this study is to identify the relationship between the levels of abstraction and HVM(Hierarchical Value Map) and to identify the statistical changes in frequency activated cell and ladders among A-C-V. And lastly, to suggest the HVM according to the levels of abstraction. The subjects of this study includes the 100 hikers who joined the hiking at least once a year for 2007. The results of analysis show that as the level of abstraction goes up, the HVM itself is depicted more simple and the loss of information is also occurred. Consequently, the decision of levels of abstraction is should be made on the basis of objective validity.
Suggestion for Shape Measurement and Alloy Element Analysis of Korean Bells

It is well known that the sound characteristics of Korean bell depend on the shape and the alloy constituents. Development of the methods to acquire exact shape data and alloy constituents of the whole body of the bell is very important for the study and systematic management of Korean bells. The practical scanning and modeling methods to get shape data from optical triangulation laser scanners are proposed. The 3D shape data by the proposed methods can be the basis of diverse measurements such as curvature, volume, thickness and the distance between any two points. A nondestructive alloy constituents measuring method which can overcome the limitations of partial data collection and damages to Korean bells is also suggested to get the whole alloy characteristics. Following the developed methods, the data of the shapes and alloy constituents of 18 Korean bells are collected and the errors of existing measurement data for the shape have been corrected.

Selecting a suitable place is to determine the attributive conditions and qualified areas for the aim as factors and is to be fulfilled systematically for selecting the area which satisfies all these. This research tries to achieve a rational suitability analysis of residential development using the GIS modeling method and the hierarchical analysis process. A spatial and attributive analysis has been systematized for selecting a suitable place for the study and GIS analysis model has been used for the effective conclusion drawing for different levels. As a next step, a quantitative and qualitative evaluation index was created through complex consideration of the criteria and decision factors of the location selection, and weights were added depending on the relative importance of these factors. In particular, 3D terrain model simulation method has been used in order to reflect the aesthetic factors of the scenery which is an element of the subjective evaluation factors and considered qualitative and subjective evaluation factors which were not considered for the existing AHP technique. After the research, a location that satisfies complex requirements was found rapidly and accurately through the GIS model and hierarchical analysis.
Applicability Test of a Wetting and Drying Scheme for KU-RLMS Model

A wetting and drying(WAD) scheme was introduced in KU-RLMS which is a two-dimensional depth-averaged unsteady model, and applicability tests for wetting and drying were performed in this study. WAD scheme in the model uses a mathematically less elegant but numerically easier method to test for dry or wet cells at each time step, then to apply blocking conditions for fluxes at cells' interfaces. WAD scheme introduced in the model was verified against an analytical solution in a frictionless parabolic basin. It was found that there occurs a little phase difference between analytical and numerical solution and little decrease of amplitude of numerical result. I used three test channels having a linear sloping bottom topography, a stepwise bottom topography, and a stepwise, a bumpy and bowl-shaped bottom topography. It could be found that numerical simulation results in test channels have similar shapes of Balzano and Oey.

The purpose of this study was examine the effects of dance / movement therapy on anger and anger expression, depression and anxiety, and positive as well as negative symptoms in in-patient with schizophrenia. Among inpatients with schizophrenia in J Dajeon psychiatric hospital, 38 patients were allocated to either dance and movement therapy (DMT) group (n=18), which included 24 sessions of DMT and medical treatment over 12 weeks, or a control group (n=20), which included only medical treatment. State anger and anger control of DMT group were improved after 12 weeks, and there was a significant difference in anger control after 12 weeks between two groups. Depression of DMT group was improved, and there was significant difference in depression after 12 weeks between DMT and control group. There was a significant difference in negative symptoms after 12 weeks between DMT and control group. These finding demonstrates that DMT has benefit on the reduction of state anger by increasing anger control and depression as well as may improve negative symptoms in in-patient with schizophrenia.
Improvement of basic Academic Skills for Junior College Students : Based on a Case Study of D College

A lack of basic academic skills of junior college students has negatively impacted on the quality of vacational education and student dropout prevention, and yet it is true that there still are unclear alternatives or solutions to come up with that concern. As a way to find out the actual levels of basic academic skills of junior college students and educational efforts to improve these skills, the study investigated prior studies and benchmarked strengths and weaknesses of the related educational programs and supporting systems operated by ten junior colleges around the nation. Further, the study addressed emerging issues and challenges related to basic academic skills, based on the case study of D college. Major research methodologies included literature review, surveys for students and faculty members and focus-group interviews of faculty members in order to examine the states of students' basic academic skills in the area of language, in particular. Accordingly, the study proposed several suggestions with which educational practitioners could assist in supporting students to acquire improved basic academic skills(such as the development of a competence-based curriculum, implementation of reliable diagnosis tools and supporting educational systems for evaluating students' basic academic skills and upgrading of diverse teaching and learning resources and methods).
Improving English Reading Competence for Middle School Students through Newspapers in Education

The purpose of this study is to research middle school student's reading problem and to suggest how to improve their reading competence through the use of the NIE. For this research, we proposed three research questions of study as below. First, what difference is there in English reading competence between experimental and control group? Second, what difference is there in the English reading competence according to English proficiency? Third, what are the effects of interest and satisfaction through NIE? The subject of a sample was 34 experimental group and 36 control group, total 70 eighth graders in Kwangju. The experimental group had been taught through NIE for 10 weeks. Grammar Translation Method was applied while teaching English to the control group. The data analyzing method was t-test through the statistics program SPSS12.0. Based on the result of this study, NIE approach was effective in improving the students' reading competence. Most of the students who were taught reading by NIE responded that they had more interest and satisfaction in the reading lesson.

The aims of this article are analyzing the job of healthy family supporter for culture work and understanding their core and development competency. As a result, the primary job of healthy family supporter for culture work is planning culture and volunteer work with family program, their core competencies are understanding of daily life and culture, interpersonal skills, creative thinking, problem-solving and social skills and development competencies are planning and evaluation program, word processing skill, creative thinking and problem-solving.
Diagnosis of General Job Skills for College Students and Application of Supporting Program: based on an Example Analysis of D College

General job skills are the required competencies for any work personnel regardless of areas of expertise. This case study applied various research methodologies in order to identify the necessity finding general job skills of D college students and search levels of general job skills of D college students. In detail, this study collected and analyzed the various data from students, faculty members, and graduates of D college, field experts using both CCQB(Core Competency Questions using BARS) and the focus-group interviews. The study results report that there are considerable gaps between the perceptions of students, faculty members and field experts in terms of the levels of general job skills. This study suggests that colleges should provide the supporting systems and educational programs as a way of improving general job skills for students.
