The Journal of the Korea Contents Association, volume 15, issue 12, 2015, Pages 1~7
DOI : 10.5392/JKCA.2015.15.12.001
These anti-jamming GPS systems are verified using large anechoic chamber or field-test until now. When using a large anechoic chamber, Independent verification from external enviroments like noise is an advantage but high cost and availability of chamber are disadvantages. And in case of field test, verification under real propagation enviroment is an advantage but security problem of military equipments and problem of making same test condition are disadvantages. This paper presents an newly developed anti-jamming GPS test system. This test system mainly consists of small anechoic chamber, jamming divider, jamming signal generator and satellite simulator. The small anechoic chamber is installed many jamming antennas to transmit multi jamming signals and the jamming divider is newly developed to control multi jamming signals. According to self performance test and combined test with Anti-jamming GPS receiver, we verified our system's reliability.

Bae, Myung-Jin ; Kim, Sung-Ill ;
The Journal of the Korea Contents Association, volume 15, issue 12, 2015, Pages 8~17
DOI : 10.5392/JKCA.2015.15.12.008
This paper presents a sound into color signal conversion using a colored-hearing synesthesia. The aim of the present paper is to implement a real-time conversion system which focuses on both hearing and sight which account for a great part of bodily senses. The proposed method of the real-time conversion of color into sound, in this paper, was simple and intuitive where scale, octave and velocity were extracted from MIDI input signals, which were converted into hue, intensity and saturation, respectively, as basic elements of HSI color model. In experiments, we implemented both the hardware system for delivering MIDI signals to PC and the VC++ based software system for monitoring both input and output signals, so we made certain that the conversion was correctly performed by the proposed method.
Protecting Deregistration Attack in SIP Using Delayed Deregistration
Kwon, Kyung-Hee ;
The Journal of the Korea Contents Association, volume 15, issue 12, 2015, Pages 18~23
DOI : 10.5392/JKCA.2015.15.12.018
This paper proposes a new protection technique against deregistration attack in SIP. Although it is caused by simple spoofing the REGISTER message of a legitimate SIP UA, its impact is serious. This new protection technique identifies and protects the deregistration attack by removing a binding form the location server after delaying a certain period of time instead of removing the binding immediately after receiving deregistration message. Therefore, this technique makes it possible to establish a secure SIP environment defending the deregistraion attack without any additional overhead such as an encryption or authentication.

The Journal of the Korea Contents Association, volume 15, issue 12, 2015, Pages 24~34
DOI : 10.5392/JKCA.2015.15.12.024
With the development of the semantic web, a large amount of data being produced nowadays is in RDF format. RDF is represented by a triple. An RDF database consisting of triples requires the high cost of join query processing. Materialized view is known as a scheme to reduce the query processing cost by accessing materialized views without accessing the database. It is physically stored the results or the intermediate results of the query processing in a storage area. In this paper, we propose a materialized view selection scheme by using decision tree to solve such a problem. The decision tree considers the size and maintenance costs of the materialized view as well as the profit of query response times. It is shown through performance evaluation that the proposed scheme increases the number of materialized views in the limited storage space and decreases the update rates of the materialized views.

DOI : 10.5392/JKCA.2015.15.12.035
Recently, with the development of wireless communication technologies and mobile equipments, various studies on mobile P2P networks have been conducted. In this paper, we propose an advertisement dissemination method considering peer's mobilities and preferences in mobile P2P networks. The proposed scheme generates a peer's preference through the analysis of users' activities to disseminate advertisements with user preferences. To reduce duplicated advertising messages and improve reception ratio, the priority of advertisement re-dissemination is determined according to peer's preferences, mobilities, and advertisement reception ratio. We improve the participation rate of the advertisement dissemination of mobile peers using the incentive mechanism in mobile P2P networks. To show the superiority of the proposed scheme, we compare it with the existing scheme in terms of the number of messages and accuracy.

The Journal of the Korea Contents Association, volume 15, issue 12, 2015, Pages 61~72
DOI : 10.5392/JKCA.2015.15.12.061
The capitalistic resistance movement attempted in most modern art areas was carried out through a complete convergence of the art and skill, which was the new formation of the symbolic boundary. Although this resistance movement was aimed at restoring artisan art through the revival of tbe work of handicraftsmen, it consequently caused the stratification of the art and became a de-artisan art excluding the autonomous labor. Hereupon, this study would focus on Bauhaus which attempted to dismantle the symbolic boundary through the convergence of the technology and art which actively used the condition the great industry brought only as an effort for the restoration of artisan labor, and would examine the actor-network of Bauhaus. Therefore, this study would examine the Bauhaus' artistic trend, the 16C Renaissance art promotion movement, and the 19C art crafts movement in the network-oriented relation, and would analyze the Bauhaus' ideological source which expressed design democracy through the bridging role of
and analyze the artisan art and the mechanism that had the new technology fused. Furthermore, the convergence possibility of the 'collaboration spirit' being embodied as a philosophy of the democracy in the design continues with the tremendous influence of the new technology.

Starting the popularity of Korean dramas exported to China in 1996, the Korean wave started around the world market. Afterwards, as the Korean culture itself as well as dramas rapidly emerged as contents of the Korean market, the foreign direct sale consumers who want to buy Korean goods directly online are increasing at an alarming rate. This study each selected 4 domestic shopping malls and 4 foreign famous shopping malls which were conducting a global marketing currently and compared/researched them in the design aspect in order to apprehend if domestic online shopping malls were properly meeting the consumer environment of the foreign market. As a result, it was revealed that domestic online shopping malls conducting the global marketing could not fully understand the internet environment by countries and were going through a limit of the information delivery by SMS, and could not use the visual signs actively which were useful to the meaning delivery. Accordingly, this thesis suggested a plan to actively utilize the variable element considering various screens to the design, plan to efficiently design the text for solving the language problem by countries, and plan to design using the developing IT technology as a solution to those problems.

If we look into genre movie, we can see that almost similar forms are repeated in a movie. Such similar elements are largely divided into three units from a mass of story to a very small camera angle. Those can be explained as Formula, Convention, and Iconography. Among those three, convention means custom and it is a structure or an incident in which one story can be divided into second one. Convention is an incident visualized in individual genre, and a movie director tunes audiences through the incident. The director leads a familiar story but all of a sudden, he transforms the familiar scene to a new story. As a product established from the beginning of movie history, movie convention helps communication between audiences and a director. Audiences familiarize themselves with movie convention through repeated activities of watching movies, and the director utilizes it to provide audiences with familiarity. Director Bong Joon-ho not only tunes audiences through traditional convention but also creates a new art work through transformation of convention. A study is conducted on how he used traditional convention and transformation to get a new idea and to engage in his work through his work

Choi, Ho-Taek ; Jung, Seok-Hwan ;
The Journal of the Korea Contents Association, volume 15, issue 12, 2015, Pages 185~192
DOI : 10.5392/JKCA.2015.15.12.185
This study analyzed the spatial interrelation between living wages and economic variables and how they operate based on systems thinking theory to understand what value living wages have as policy instruments and why they are necessary. Results from this study can be summed as follows. First, the relationship between living wages and economic variables shows close interaction at a considerable level. In particular, mutual feedback which connects to laborers' standards of living, consumption, business, and economy was operating closely. Second, largely three positive (+) feedback loops were operating in the feedback structure of living wages and economic variables. This can be interpreted to mean that positive economic variables which are associated with living wages have the possibility of growth. Also, it can mean that the minimum wage system did not fully fulfill its role. Through these study results, it can be learned that living wages have sufficient value as a policy means and that it is advisable to allow living wages to exceed simple application levels in the public sector to expand into the private sector, to bring positive change to the economic system.

Lim, Dong-Wan ;
The Journal of the Korea Contents Association, volume 15, issue 12, 2015, Pages 193~203
DOI : 10.5392/JKCA.2015.15.12.193
This study aims to analyze why South Korea has not used audit system but examination system and suggest policy reform for the system on the institutional context perspective. Institutional context is structured down to institutional legacy, motives, institutional constraints, actors' roles, and changed institution. I researched the literature on the subject and collected research materials from the Department of the Treasury and Audit Office website of New Zealand, Australia, United Kingdom, United States and South Korea. These were analyzed using for suggesting realistic and effective policy. Analysis showed that South Korea has used examination system due to institutional constraints and tried to increase reliability of financial statements by enlarging the meaning of examination, strengthening the ability of the Board of Audit and Inspection, enacting government examination standards, and making a comprehensive public announcement. Comparing with other countries where government audit systems are applied, there are still some vulnerable points in South Korea. In order to make up for the shortcomings, this study suggests several points: strengthening the ability of actors; systemizing internal control; expressing opinion; making a more comprehensive public announcement. It would be desirable for making further detailed studies of the points.

Jung, Seok-Hwan ;
The Journal of the Korea Contents Association, volume 15, issue 12, 2015, Pages 204~211
DOI : 10.5392/JKCA.2015.15.12.204
This study made fundamental approaches on the significance of social enterprises on minority protection policies. In particular, it offered discussions focused on the relationship between social enterprises and North Korean defectors which greatly affect minority policies. Study results can be summed up as follows. First, the greatest difficulties for North Korean defectors in their adjustment to Korean society are economic activities and a sense of social differences and social enterprises are a policy which can resolve these problems in the most effective way. Second, existing social enterprises were excessively run by the central government and they were support models which lacked creativity and development. To resolve such problems, a lesson was learned that these must change into policy models with local coproduction. Third, a lesson was learned that social enterprises offer more than simple economic activity, offering the proper functions of society, culture, living, and language, and thus the participation of North Korean defectors in social enterprises should be made mandatory in certain sectors. Such research results will contribute to theoretically explaining the relationship between North Korean defectors and social enterprises as minority policies.

DOI : 10.5392/JKCA.2015.15.12.234
When the Information age led by media comes, The literature yielded its prominence to visual media, and the Korean literature also faced a crisis, prompted by decreased demand for it. In this reality, literature festivals which have increased rapidly since 1995 and currently number at least 110, when the local government system was launched, played an important role in promoting literature to the society. This thesis has selected Manhae Festival, one of the most vibrant and successful, as the case study to analyze its present status and accomplishments to derive ways for improvement which can be used to promote policies on literature. Manhae Festival which celebrates Manhae Han Yongun, a poet and an independence activist, also became one of the top literature festivals through Manhae Grand Awards and various cultural, art and academic events, despite being held in Inje County, Gangwon Province, a remote location. Based on this study, in the near future, Manhae Village, as a complex cultural venue, as a If we can make the place into complex cultural space and with additional policy support by gaining political supports like designation as Slowcity and special zone of culture and tourism, and pursuing glocalization by making Manhae into a star brand, Manhae Festival will cement its current position as a successful literary festival. It has very meaningful since most of literature festivals operate in small scale. Now, we need to develop literature festivals into local ones by attracting larger popularity. Meanwhile, a more comprehensive study, in the future, is needed with special emphasis on successful literary policies and their precedents in other countries.

The Journal of the Korea Contents Association, volume 15, issue 12, 2015, Pages 257~272
DOI : 10.5392/JKCA.2015.15.12.257
The purpose of this study is to investigate practical measures to provide a better welfare services in public sector through analyzing differences according to socio-demographic characteristics about the quality service of public welfare that social welfare officials perceive personally. The questionnaire has been conducted among 401 social welfare officials with 5 factors: tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, empathy and assurances. With the results, the age was the most conspicuous difference in five factors of quality service in general. The quality of welfare service appears lower level as the official works close to community members. Additionally, the analysis shows that social welfare officials have relatively low perception about reliability, responsiveness and empathy. The official in charge of social welfare needs to have a neighborhood-centered value orientation, and be a social worker and official in the field of substantive welfare. Therefore, this study has a meaning to suggest some directions of social welfare transition and basic delivery system by identifying their understanding.

DOI : 10.5392/JKCA.2015.15.12.314
This study examines the impact of sleep duration on Korean adolescents' suicidal impulse. A gender-based analysis was conducted using binary logistic regression method. The major findings are as follows. First, weekday sleep duration had a significant effect only on male adolescents. Male adolescents who sleep less than seven hours on a weekday are likely to experience suicidal impulse by 1.9 times higher than the others. This effect remained significant even when other relevant variables were controlled. On the other hand, female adolescents who have less than seven hours of sleep on a weekday have about 1.3 times higher chances to experience suicidal impulse. However, this effect became insignificant when other variables such as stress were controlled. Meanwhile, weekend sleep duration did not have any significant effect on both male and female adolescents. By demonstrating the different effects between weekday/weekend sleep duration and male/female adolescents, this study supports the claim that it is necessary to take a social approach in studying sleep duration.

The purpose of this study was to identify the relations among questions level, questions process, and hesitation factor of questions. Data were collected from 174 students at a university in D city using structured questionnaire from September 9 to April 10 2015. It was analyzed with frequency analysis, descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, and correlation analysis. As a result, the learners' questions are made from cognitive confusion, these questions led the students to ask a question actually. Also, this study confirmed that the learners' internal hesitation factors had negative correlation when the students asked a question in real situation. In order to improve the asking question we'll need to be generating a lot of questions to the student's inside and outside. We also need to develop appropriate teaching methods so that this can be perceived connection of cognitive confusion-having questions-asking questions.

Hypofractionated radiotherapy prescribes high dose once. Due to this there's a bad point that patients are exposed much dose in normal organ. But recently the study making up for a limit is continuing. Cause of preference of this kind of development of therapy technic and high-energy photon beam, patients can be exposed to additional radiation. Because photoneutron is created by photonuclear reaction. So, in this study I measured photoneutron and analyzed by DVH amounts of radiation from the treatment plan that was used to acute, metastatic pelvis cancer patients who was treated by hypofractionated radiotherapy applied IMRT. As a result, incidence of photoneutron based on the hypofractionated radiotherapy was not a big difference in proportion to the dose fractionation. Protective effects of normal organ by hypofractionated radiotherapy applying IMRT is relatively high compared to 3D CRT but also photoneutron was in created. So a proper treatment plan and a best therapy should be considerated.

DOI : 10.5392/JKCA.2015.15.12.471
Situational Crisis communication theory (SCCT), one of the major crisis communication theories, suggests that crisis managers have to choose the most effective crisis response strategy in accordance to the crisis type. However, there's a controversy over whether this theory is practically applicable in Korea. Therefore, this study analyzed statements of apology to see if companies in Korea are actually taking different response strategy according to the types of crisis. According to the result of analysis on 244 apology statements published in the newspapers from 2012 to spring of 2015, adaptive response strategy was mostly taken no matter what the crisis type was. In conclusion, there's a discrepancy in crisis response strategy between the theory suggested in SCCT and the current practices in Korea. This conclusion can contribute to devising an appropriate application of SCCT in Korea and to develop a more Korea relevant theory.

The Journal of the Korea Contents Association, volume 15, issue 12, 2015, Pages 483~492
DOI : 10.5392/JKCA.2015.15.12.483
This study involved elementary schoolchildren in Busan Metropolitan city and assumed the foundation of social cooperative associations that provide education services for meteorological fields, then we analyzed expected profits in a year for successful operation of first year. Twelve variables relating to profits and expenses were derived, and we used the decision tree for analyzing optimal expected profits. Profit-related variables were lecture's fee per hour and price of textbooks. Expense-related variables were production costs for the textbooks, annual salary for a teacher, education costs for a teacher, developing costs for the textbooks, traveling expenses, rental fees, and operating costs. Besides, by adding education demands, the number of grades, and the number of teachers, we analyzed changes in expected profits, considering variability of profits and expenses. As a result, despite of expected lower demands, to increase price of textbooks and education costs per hour was of advantage to enhance expected profits. The reason is that the more demand, the more increased production costs for textbooks, which is because not to make enough profits to offset the increased expenses due to lowered price of textbooks and education costs. Considering the value of public interest for social cooperative associations, price determination only concerning increase in demands will be avoided.

In this paper we investigate the factors influencing the intention-to-use of Alibaba mobile payment in China. Our research model includes the mobile payment service factors ('instant connectivity', 'security', and 'use convenience'), the user's individual factors ('preferential' and 'individual characteristics'), 'satisfaction', and 'intention to use'. We surveys the current and potential mobile payment service users in China and analyzes with Structural Equation Model. The results show that all the mobile payment service factors give positive effects to 'satisfaction'. The 'individual characteristics', one of the user's individual factors, also gives positive effects to 'satisfaction', however, 'preferential' does not give positive effects. In addition, 'satisfaction' is found to give positive effects to 'intention to use'.

The evolution of spectrum sharing technology enables the creation of many business scenarios and business models such as TV white space service. Business models considering spectrum sharing should guarantee economic feasibility for service providers and increasing benefit for service users. In addition, new business models should contribute to economic activation in the wireless telecommunication service industry. It is therefore necessary to design quantitative evaluation methods for selection of the best business models. The methods should reflect the various points of view of valuation. Our research addresses evaluation method for business models considering spectrum sharing. We define evaluation indicators to reflect the distinct characteristics of spectrum sharing. Also, we adopt analytic hierarchy process(AHP) to derive the weights of each indicator to evaluate business models considering spectrum sharing.

DOI : 10.5392/JKCA.2015.15.12.541
Research about U.S. and European countries demonstrated that startups and young firms account for nearly all net job creation. If we want to bring down unemployment and to increase economic growth rate, we need to create new companies and to make them to grow. Credit availability is one of the most important factors for entrepreneurs as they attempt to start or expand a business. For young firms, access to credit for business growth can mean the difference between survival and failure. Equity crowdfunding is an innovative means of raising capital for businesses. Crowdfunding campaigns can give new business access to a large pool of investors. This brings huge benefits for marketing and increase provability of success of business and ROI, so it leads follow-on investment from Venture Capital and Angel investors. In Korea, the survival rate of startups and average growth rate of survivors is far lower than those of the U.S or other countries due to lack of funds for startup or early business growth. Equity crowdfunding can be a new funding source for venture or startups. It can increase startup and survival rate, in addition to the growth rate of survivors, resulting in decreased unemployment rate. In Korea, Equity crowdfunding will be available from 2016. Further study is needed to determine whether the impact of crowdfunding in Korea on job creation will be similar to its impact in the U.S.

Rapid economic growth occurred in Korean since the 1970s. This economic growth caused rapid urbanization and an increase in population in city. As a results, there was a housing shortage problem in korea. The government and construction companies have been continuously building residential houses such as apartments, mansions, others. Apartments mostly consist of residential houses and are generally made from reinforced concrete structure. Reinforced concrete structures including apartments need to be renovated, because they deteriorate with respect to time. However, there is no available data or information regarding the cost or the period of time that is needed for renovates of these apartment. We are especially short of information on the defect data of remodeling construction. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to provide fundamental data about the cause of defect in remodeled apartments as well as the appropriate time to execute renovation through a questionnaire survey with apartment residents as the participants.

When the moisture in concrete member evaporates by high temperature, the evaporation heat which absorbs surrounding temperature occurs. The incremental rate of the internal temperature in concrete is reduced due to the evaporation heat in spite of continuously increasing external temperature. Therefore, this paper has proposed the evaluation algorithm for predicting the internal temperature of concrete members considering the evaporation heat under the high temperature. Finite element method is employed to facilitate thermal analysis for any position of member. To demonstrate the validity of this numerical procedure, the prediction by the proposed algorithm is compared with the test results of other researchers. The proposed algorithm shows a good agreement with the experimental results including the phenomenon that temperature is lost by the evaporation heat.

DOI : 10.5392/JKCA.2015.15.12.612
The purpose of this study is to explore children's reactions in the process of reading books dealing with death. As a result, there was a reflection of their religious assumptions. The participants interpreted the stories based on their belief systems. If the stories did not match with their assumptions, they used another strategy. Also, it is indicated that they recalled death-related memories and applied those stories to their own loss experiences and social events. Furthermore, they recognized the importance of their own everyday lives rather than immersing in death itself. It means that death-related stories help the participants express their passion towards life and resolve to live their lives to the utmost. Contrary to their first drawings before reading books, their second drawings contained the joy of living and reflected the details of death they developed while reading books. Also, the colors they used in their second drawings were brighter than the previous ones. Their passionate attitude towards life above was equally shown in their poems as well. In conclusion, reading death stories turned out to be a process in which children develop and reflect on their understanding of death. Abundant opportunities to express their own feelings are offered. Furthermore, it is showed that death stories can help the children love their lives and provide a strong will for their living sincerely. Based on the results, some educational suggestions were provided.

This study aims to investigate mediating effect of teenagers' spirituality on the relationship between Irrational Beliefs and self-esteem. For research, questionnaires were distributed to 500 teenagers aged 14 to 19. And data were collected from 419 persons. The average age of subjects was 15.8. The collected data verify by structural equation model. As a result, it was shown that the first research model was not good. Hence, according to the results of modifying the model after referring to model modification index, the first modified model showed
, df=83,p<.000, CFI=.975, TLI=.968, NFI=.961 and RMSEA=.061. Therefore, it was shown that the model was suitable. According to the results of analyzing the effect of model at this point, it was shown that the direct effect which unreasonable beliefs had on self-esteem was .02, and indirect effect through the mediation of spirituality was .30. Hence, it was verified that spirituality mediated the effect which unreasonable beliefs had on self-esteem. When this is considered, it is thought that, if the level of spirituality is improved, the negative effect which teenagers' unreasonable beliefs had on self-esteem will decrease, though the unreasonable beliefs have a negative effect on self-esteem.

This study reports on the perspectives of Korean Chinese Japanese students (KS CS JS) on learning English at multi-cultural classrooms in Korea. The participants were 32 KS, 10 CS, and 14 JS in EFL writing classes, and the data comprised open-ended questionnaires and interviews. In analyzing the data, 'Intentional content analysis' and 'Critical discourse analysis' were adopted. The findings show that the learning of English in Korea was supported by 80% of JS, 71.9% of KS, and 50% of CS. The highest satisfaction of JS was caused by rich interactions with others. English speaking was the most difficult area for all the groups. Whereas KS (43.8%) used only Korean, CS and JS used both English and Korean for communication. Most KS (78.1%) hesitated to socialize with foreign students despite their wishes. These findings suggest that a variety of programs should be developed so that students share different cultures and use more English in the multi-cultural Korean context.
