DOI : 10.5392/JKCA.2015.15.08.009
One of RFID features is that each RFID tag has a unique identifying code. Logistic System utilizes RFID tag as location tracing, understanding stock or etc. On the other hand, there is a problem of overall lower recognition rate by getting the information of non-mobility tags with no need for reading. To solve this problem, we trace and analyze variation of moving and moveless RFID tag sensitivity by the hour. In analyzed data, we verify that tag sensitivity of mobile RFID is gradually increase while non-mobility tag has same intensity value. In order to detect mobile tag, we generate a function using Matlab with analyzed data and separate moving tags from non-mobility tags by software. As a result, we can confirm that non-mobility tags are detected by software and recognition rate of RFID tag is improved by separating moveless tag.

DOI : 10.5392/JKCA.2015.15.08.024
Recently, interests in detecting hot topics have been significantly growing as it becomes important to find out and analyze meaningful information from the large amount of data which flows in from social network services. Since it deals with a number of random writings that are not confirmed in advance due to the characteristics of SNS, there is a problem that the reliability of the results declines when hot topics are predicted from the writings. To solve such a problem, this paper proposes a high reliable hot topic prediction scheme considering user influences in social networks. The proposed scheme extracts a set of keywords with hot issues instantly through the modified TF-IDF algorithm based on Twitter. It improves the reliability of the results of hot topic prediction by giving weights of user influences to the tweets. To show the superiority of the proposed scheme, we compare it with the existing scheme through performance evaluation. Our experimental results show that our proposed method has improved precision and recall compared to the existing method.

DOI : 10.5392/JKCA.2015.15.08.156
The negative awareness of a multiculturalism rises around the world because of various problems that happen with the multicultural phenomenon. Nevertheless, the reason we uphold multiculturalism is that multicultural phenomenon is an inevitable consequence of capitalism and the decline of multiculturalism might imply danger of bringing about radical nationalism. This study assumes that a distortion of multiculturalism is the result from a myth of romance film which affects the public perception as an integral component of a discourse. Grounded upon monomith, the narrative structure of romance film of which motive comes from courtly love makes people miscomprehend the value of multiculturalism because of the multicultural factor as substitute for romantic obstacle. As the character of romance movie is likely to be formed focusing on superficial images and denotations, this tendency causes the hierarchy and the representative minority drives out the rest of other minorities. The attempt to arouse people`s tolerance and understanding of the other is frustrated both by the structure of binary oppositions and the clich

DOI : 10.5392/JKCA.2015.15.08.179
This study aims to analyze how the media represents marriage immigrant women in the reality of Korean multicultural society. In particular, by analyzing an EBS documentary titled, `Multicultural Fierce Conflicts between Mother-in-law and Daughter-in-law`, this study clarifies that this content adopted travel narrative to show conflicts between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law and solution of these conflicts. The documentary apparently shows mutual understanding and cultural diversity but still keeps representing these conflicts as individual`s `trivial` problems. Under this way of representation, social and structural problem or institutional problem in reality can be covered up by the medium of travel. It makes such a conflict look like an individual`s `trivial` problem can be solved by individuals.

DOI : 10.5392/JKCA.2015.15.08.258
The study aims at verifying the effect of the image, trust and responsiveness to social welfare organizations on continuing the sponsorship of private donors, the mediating effect of the organizational identification and the moderating effect of their financial status. As a result of causal analysis of the variables by structural equation models, regardless of donors` financial status, social welfare organizations` image, trust and responsiveness has no direct effect on continuing the sponsorship. Among the donors in relatively good financial status, social welfare organizations` image, trust and responsiveness positively have direct effects on organizational identification, which has a direct effect on continuing the sponsorship. That is, the image, trust and responsiveness influence the continuity of the sponsorship through the full mediating effect of organizational identification. On the other hand, among relatively poor donors, only the organizations` image and trust positively influence the organizational identification, The direct and indirect effects on the continuity of the sponsorship are different according to the private donors` financial status, which means that the moderating effect of the donors` financial status is proved. The result of latent mean analysis regarding 5 main latent variables according to the private donors` financial status, shows the significant difference in the continuity of sponsorship only(Mean

Concrete is a attractive construction material, however durability problem occur due to steel corrosion, which leads propagation to structural safety problem. The recently developed FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastic) Hybrid Bar has an engineering merit of both structural steel and FRP. Accelerated corrosion test for RC (Reinforced Concrete) samples with normal steel and FRP Hybriud Bar are performed and their flexural capacity is evaluated. Furthermore UV(Ultrasonic Velocity) measurement is attempted for analysis of variation of UV due to corrosion condition. After corrosion test, there is no significant reduction in RC beam with FRP hybrid bar but 11.5% of reduction in the case of normal steel is evaluated with 3.3% of UV reduction. For commercial production of FRP hybrid bar, bond strength evaluation through long-term submerged corrosion is required.

DOI : 10.5392/JKCA.2015.15.08.424
This study tried to investigate the differences between auditory preferences for a discrimination study of minimal pairs with the different onset and the same nucleus of a syllable on the basis of articulator-distance in case of Korean infants and toddlers. As a result we found a main effect for articulator-distance and age but not an effect according to the types of phonation especially in terms of tense. Former results are line with the previous studies having reported the order of consonants acquisition based on the places of articulation suggesting that more sensitive responses for the contiguous and different phonemes may lead earlier acquisition for the same place of articulation of the speech sounds. Specifically, bilabial soudns are followed by alveolar and palatal sounds in order. The latter results also showed that tense consonants got a high rate of recognition beside lax consonants according to the age and sex.

DOI : 10.5392/JKCA.2015.15.08.505
The purpose of the study is to investigate the occupational difference of Vitamin D deficiency according to the level of physical activity and the level of stress. For this purpose, We performed empirical approaches and adopted KNHANES 2008~2013 dataset, to which were applied such methods as crosstabulation analysis, logistic regression and SOBEL test. As a result, we found that Vitamin D deficiency was higher in the group of people with indoor-working-job than in the group of people with out-door working job. Besides, Vitamin D deficiency tends to increase in the people with lower physical activity and higher stress experience. As a result, those employees highly related with in-door activities must be ensured that they need to be exposed to sunlight on a regular basis. Moreover, improving the physical activity levels of employees could be one of appropriate solutions to alleviate Vitamin D deficiency problems. Besides, lowering stress levels in workplace needs to be seriously considered in order not to drop the physical activity levels of workers.

The purpose of this study is to investigate how Korean learners perceive English vowels and further to test SLM which claims that new L2 vowel categories are more easily acquired than similar L2 vowel categories. Twenty Korean learners participated in English-to-Korean mapping test and English vowel identification test with target vowels /i, ɪ, u, ʊ, ɛ, æ/. The result revealed that Korean participants mapped the English pairs /i/-/ɪ/ and /u/-/ʊ/ onto single Korean vowel /i/ and /u/, respectively. in addition, both of English /ɛ/ and /æ/ were simultaneously mapped onto Korean /e/ and /ɛ/. This indicated that the Korean participants seemed to have perceptual difficulty for the pairs /i-ɪ/, /u-ʊ/, and /ɛ-æ/. The result of the forced-choice identification test showed that the accuracy of /ɪ, ʊ, æ/(ɪ: 81.3%, ʊ: 62.5%, æ: 60.0%) was significantly higher than that of /i, u, ɛ/(i: 28,8%, u: 28.8%, ɛ: 32.4%). Thus, the claim of SLM is confirmed given that /ɪ, ʊ, æ/ are new vowel categories whereas /i, u, ɛ/ are similar vowel categories. Further, the conspicuously low accuracy of the similar L2 vowel categories /i, u, ɛ/ was accounted for by over-generalization whereby the Korean participants excessively replaced L2 similar /i, u, ɛ/ with L2 new /ɪ, ʊ, æ/ as the participants were learning the L2 new vowel categories in the process of acquisition. Based on the findings this study, pedagogical suggestions are provided.

Humanities-collaborated practices in various fields have been supported by several governmental policies as a way to overcome recent social problems. Museum, due to its roles in preserving and sharing cultural and historical heritage for the development of society and communities, has emerged as a key base for the humanities-collaborated practices. This study, in this context, aimed to analyze how the humanities-based museum education programs have been practiced in the museums, which, in turn, might provide a basic data for the future direction and development of the programs and the related governmental policy as well. For this purpose, this study first examined theoretical framework for the link between humanities and museum education, from which a survey was developed. The survey was conducted to 75 museum educators who have been in charge of humanities-based educational programs. The result showed that most programs seemed to reflect the basic direction and purpose of the humanities-linked with museum education. Yet, more needs were found in terms of the educational themes and methods which can facilitate multicultural literacy and reflective thinking and activities within experiential learning environments.

Recent research shows that emotion is closely related to memory and learning. Although a growing number of educators have high interest in affective aspects of learning processes and outcomes, there are few studies to investigate systematically instructional strategies and learning environments based on learners` emotion. Despite the efforts to understand the role of emotion and to facilitate positive emotion for meaningful learning in face-to-face and online environments, it is still a challenging issue to measure emotion in a valid and reliable way. To implement emotion-based education, it is essential to overcome the limitation of self-report surveys on emotion, which rely on the memory of learners. The current study surveyed emotion measurement tools, which are recently developed in education and other domains, in terms of self-report, neurophysiology, and behavioral responses. This study also discussed how emotion measurement tools can be used in authentic learning and teaching situations. Particularly, this study focused on cutting-edge technologies that would enable educators to collect and analyze learners` emotion easily in real-world contexts. This study will contribute to the research about the role of emotion in education and the design of adaptive learning environments that consider the change of learners` emotion.

The Korean history textbook is a basic teaching material for learning history. Students learn the past and also understand history through Korean history textbooks. The Korean history textbooks are comprised of educational materials arousing students` interest. What is helpful to education in the visual form is photo materials. As visual data, such photo materials play roles not only in arousing students` interest more than texts filled with writings, but also in making students experience history of the time indirectly in more objective form. Since such photo materials are playing essential roles in Korean history textbooks, if photos with errors are used, it can create huge confusion. This study analyzed the reliability and suitability of photo materials in eight Korean history textbooks of high school, depending on each type of photo. Then it suggested the measures of composing photo materials in Korean history textbooks revised in the future. The future textbooks will contain more amount of photo materials with the higher weight of photo materials.
