A Novel Branch Method for Designing Educational Contents

In this paper, we propose a novel branch method which improve learning effects of the digital contents using a user-friendly access method by taking any conceptual object as the unit of interface. The conceptual objects may exist as a part of one or more contents pages, and we can access them to repeat, replay or return to the original branch point, that elevates the interactions of the digital contents. This method is useful for all kinds of digital contents, but it is especially effective to make educational contents in the field of science, engineering, and language courses because they contain various conceptual elements such as blocks of modeling, mathematical equations, and memorizing units. In addition, if we realize the blanch method proposed in this paper with the conventional page-branch or title-branch methods in the same contents, user interaction will be maximized and learning effects of the contents maybe beautifully improved.
Figure learning System by Using Multimedia

A multimedia figure learning system has been designed and implemented by using TOOBOOK. Also, the developed system has been analyzed after use it in classrooms. The analysis result shows that the multimedia system is better for understanding the concepts of revolving entity and cross section than the traditional teaching methods.
Design and implementation of data processing system for global medical examination in cyber Korean medical examination system

This enable system integration for efficient data processing by interconnecting ASP and SQL, on-line consultation between patient and Korean medicine doctor, and semi-eternal use of medical examination data owing to storage and check of medical examination data(accurate medical examination and description using this medical examination data between patient and Korean medicine doctor). This is a Korean medicine remote examination system which converts from existing Korean medicine hospital system being maintained as existing off-line only to medical examination type of both on-line and off-line mode transcending time and space on web in which anyone can participate.
Medical Image Compression in the Wavelet Transform Domain

This paper suggest the image compression that is needed to process PACS in medical information system. The image decoding method is used Linear-predictor and Lloyd-Max quantizer(quantization) in the Wavelet transform domain. Wavelet Transform Method is processed the multi-resolution by dividing image into 10 sub-bands of 3 levels. Low frequency domain that is sensitive to human visual characteristic is encoded by DPCM which is lossless encoding methods, and Lloyed-Max quantizer, the optimal quantizer for reducing ringing and aliasing in the image of inter sub-band, is used in the remaining high frequency domain of sub-band. The examination verifies that decompressed images are superior by the result that PSNR is 28.53dB on the input image, 512

The Style and the Direction of Customized Website Design

The need for customized website design has been increased these days. There are two approaches for customizing website design. A Static/Selective approach is easily applied to website design, but is hard to provide a more refined customized service due to its lack of accumulation of customer data. In the Transparent/Adaptive approach, it is easy to apply an intrinsic value of customer, but without sufficient customer data, inappropriate customization is liable to occur. In this paper, directions such as "control of customer participation level", "collection of contextual information" and "development of filtering methods for design elements are suggested for the integrated use of these approaches. use of these approaches.
An Investigation of Technical Methods to Solve the Internet Negative-Function

The network community provides people a new area which is called a cyber area, not physical area. However, today in the cyber area, the negative function has been causing social problem. In fact, it has not been causing by original function. Specifically speaking, main reason why it's leading to the negative function is that teenagers are logging into inappropriate sites (such as: violent, adult sites) to unnecessary sites (such as: e-mails with unknown signs combined with words, inappropriate language used in certain web board). Not only that, private password and ID's are being used by unknown user to accomplish illegal access. If this problem does not get solved through immediate development of technologies method, the cyber crime will increase in short period of time. The purpose of this paper is to understand each analyzed method which can cope with negative internet function, to discuss suitable management in certain web board an to check with fuzzy intercommunication mood.
A Study on Preprocessing Technique for Fingerprint Recognition using Applied Slit-Sum Method

This paper suggests the adaptive binary method which applies advanced silt sum technique, so that threshold value can be changed heuristically according to the brightness of captured fingerprint image. Through this research, we tried to resolve threshold value setting issue by the local differences of brightness of fingerprint image in the binary image preprocessing. The experimental results show that our proposed preprocessing method demonstrates the better recognition accuracy and can be applied to minutiae extraction algorithm for fingerprint recognition system.
A Study on an Efficient e-business System based on .NET

A electronic business user is increased rapidly, and load of a electronic business system and network traffic are increased rapidly. Also, the data which included an audio and video is increasing in a electronic business system gradually, and According to this an Internet service businessman is paying for an enormous cost for management of a system and a maintenance of a line. It is brought a delay of a response speed about a service wish of a Web customer this system load and network traffic raise. Also, this decreases customer satisfaction and becomes an important factor to decrease competitive power of an e-business enterprise. In this study, we proposed the electronic business system that improved answer delay time about a Web customer in an e-business system based on the .net which was a the latest version of Microsoft company, and analyzed performance of a proposal system through an experiment. In the experiment result, the system that proposed it can have response time to have been improved and fast adaptability about various requests of a Web customer. Also, in a proposed system, a decrease gets a delay of a response speed to occur because of the multiple user done.
Comparison and an evaluation of a component technology for a Web system development and application based on CBD

As for the software development, it is complicated, and size of software is growing larger. And contraction of a software development period is required acutely because it is short a period of software life cycle. Also, it becomes harder development and a maintenance because it is short a life cycle of developed software. According to this an effort is increased in order to reduce a development cost and time as using a component to have been implemented previously in development of software. A current component technology is developing into a very fast speed and is bringing a large change into development of a Web base system in addition to existing software development method. In this paper, we were handling a related technology for Web system development of a CBD base systematically and derived an issue to apply it to development of a Web system and presented an efficient practical use method of a component technology. First of all we looked into a component technology and a CBD methodology systematically and described a component technology in Web. Also, we proposed a method to increase development and efficiency of practical use of a Web system based on a component. The this study result can decrease a development cost of a Web system and a load of maintenance management through the re-use of a code.
Development of Technology Information Analysis System for Analyzing Technology Trend from Technology Data

As the knowledge-based society progresses the amount of information increases tremendously and also the accessibility to information is much improved through the diffusion of internet and digitalized contents. At this juncture the systematic management and efficient analysis of immense information surfaces as a global issue. And the paradigm of information turns from the age of information access to the age of information analysis. So it is urgently required to analyze technology trend from technology information and to establish the way to realize a systematic method for information analysis. Accordingly in this study an information analysis system is developed that contributes to the decision of proper direction for R&D and technology development by rapidly and systematically analyzing search results from the technology databases online and can reduce to a great degree the shorts and time required to collect and analyze information.
A Study on Real-time Quality Evaluation Method of Bibliographic Database

The conventional database evaluation method is carried out by the way in which the person in charge of each specialty database(DB manager) composes the evaluation sheets for corretionㆍrevision on the already-constructed database in a manual method and carries out the measurement and re-education of DB workers based upon it. As a result, that way consumes much time on career information and measurement works about DB workers, causing low time and cost efficiency and lack of systematic management of DB workers, resulting in becoming the hindrance factor of databases quality improvement. This research provides on-line, red-time results of measurements about the efficiency of DB production and DB workers by combining the static measurement with dynamic measurement by DB manager, both of which utilize the System. Therefore, the DB manager can contribute to the improvement of DB quality by determining the continuation of DB production by DB workers or carrying out the re-education of DB workers without being affected by time or spacial constraints.
A Study about the Cell Scheduling for the Cell Loss QoS Improvement

This paper proposes the cell scheduling algorithm proper to high-speed ATM switch. The proposed algorithm is the VRR(Variable weight Round Robin) combined the FRR to variant QLT. The FRR performs the cell service of the fixed weight by each buffer. So, FRR don't support the QoS of ATM service classes although it is easy to implement a high speed switch. VRR uses the method expaned to variable weight according to buffer state as well as schedules the cell according the Fixed weight based FRR. The simulation to evaluate the proposed algorithm was done by AweSim arid Visual C++. The result graphs show that the proposed algorithm is excellent, especially in the aspect of cell loss.
