An Authoring Strategy of Educational Contents using Component Technology and Concept-Based Branch Method

In this paper, we propose a novel model and effective authoring strategy of educational contents which improve the drilling effects in the cyber education through Internet. Especially we offer an authoring process of digital contents of engineering departs using JAVA component library technology and concept-based branch method, making the element of the library as unit-contents separated in accordance with their characteristics arid then accessing them at arbitrary instant in the replaying time. In proportion to the proposed model and strategy, the resultant contents shows advanced adaptabilities and interactions so that the contents can be user-oriented considerations. Combining and realizing the proposed authoring strategy for constitution of digital contents, we can get a more efficient scenario of making and drilling especially in the area of engineering or language courses.
Statistical Image Feature Based Block Motion Estimation for Video Sequences

We propose a block motion estimation algorithm based on a statistical image feature for video sequences. The statistical feature of the reference block is obtained, then applied to select the candidate starting points (SPs) in the regular starting points pattern (SPP) by comparing the statistical feature of reference block with that of blocks which are spread ower regular SPP. The final SPs are obtained by their Mean Absolute Difference(MAD) value among the candidate SPs. Finally, one of conventional fast search algorithms, such as BRGDS, DS, and three-step search (TSS), has been applied to generate the motion vector of reference block using the final SPs as its starting points. The experimental results showed that the starting points from fine SPs were as dose as to the global minimum as we expected.
Skew Estimation and Correction in Text Images using Shape Moments

In this paper efficient skew estimation and correction approaches are proposed. To detect the skew of text images, Hough transform using the perpendicular angle view property and shape moments are peformed. The resultant primary text skew angle is used to align the original text. The performance evaluations of the proposed methods with respect to running time are shown.
Hacking Path Retracing Algorithm using Packet Marking

Retracing schemes using packet marking are currently being studied to protect network resources by isolating DDoS attack. One promising solution is the probabilistic packet marking (PPM). However, PPM can't use ICMP by encoding a mark into the IP identification field. Likewise, it can't identify the original source through a hash function used to encode trace information and reduce the mark size. In addition, the retracing problem overlaps with the result from the XOR operation. An algorithm is therefore proposed to pursue the attacker's source efficiently. The source is marked in a packet using a router ID, with marking information abstracted.
Detection Model Generation System using Learning

In this paper, We propose detection mood generation system using learning to generate automatically detection model. It is improved manpower, efficiency in time. Proposed detection model generator system is consisted of agent system and manager system. Model generation can do existing standardization by genetic algorithm because do model generation and apply by new detection model. according to experiment results, detection model generation using learning proposed sees more efficiently than existing intrusion detection system. When intrusion of new type occur by implemented system and decrease of the False-Positive rate, improve performance of existing intrusion detection system.
The Implementation of EJB Based Goods Purchase System on the Commercial Contents

Electronic commerce part is changing rapidly for more efficient service support according to customer's inclination and request which pass over the time and space. That is, It was considered in customer's side that process and management of content by various articles, and component base development was considered in side of developer and administrator to operate this effectively. So, electronic commerce system need component based development that can be coped with efficient and active it and goods contents management to customers various inclination. Thus, in this research we implemented goods purchase system based on EJB(Enterprise Java Beans) of sewer side component mode. That is, each function part from goods contents to purchase is implemented to component which is independent execution module. Accordingly, component which is independence function part can cope actively in process of contents that change variously.
Design and Implementation of Web Based POS System using PDA in Wireless Internet Environment

The POS(Point Of Sales) system is S/W and H/W that enables to analyse and evaluate sales information that has been collected in the real-time at point of sales by each department in the store. However, existing POS systems are mainly aiming at the large scaled store with the specific high-priced equipment, so that in applying them to a store specializing in food have weak point to use them in the cost or scale respect. In this paper, we design and implement a web based POS system with PC(Personal Computer) and PDA/(Personal Digital Assistant) in wireless internet environment to apply POS system to a store specializing in food, without specific equipments.
Moving Object Tracking using Cumulative Similarity Transform

In this paper, an object tracking system in a known environment is proposed. It extracts moving area shaped on objects in video sequences and decides tracks of moving objects. Color invarianoe features are exploited to extract the plausible object blocks and the degree of radial homogeneity, which is utilized as local block feature to find out the block correspondences. The experimental results are given.
A Study on the Performance Metrics and Optimal Implementation of Ad hoc

In this paper, us describe about the performance metrics and optimal implementation of Ad hoc network that is constructed easily by mobile terminals without infra-structure and is used in emergency sites and army field. And the results are used in study on DQM based ad hoc routing protocol.
Design and Implementation of Fish Farm Monitoring System using Embedded System

Up to row, researchers have observed experiment environment to study about raising procedure and an ecology of the ocean fishes with naked eye. Then they can monitor status information in only laboratory such as temperatures, image of the fish farm, etc. Such the existing way as this can't observe an ecology of the ocean fishes with scientific and systematic method and moreover it needs many of researchers. So in this paper, we design and implement a fish farm monitoring system which receives status of remote experiment environment through the internet whenever you want it and wherever you want it, and monitors and analyzes its status using embedded system of which the operating system is linux.
