Design and Fabrication of a Broadband RF Module for 2.4GHz Band Applications

In this paper, a broadband RF module is designed and tested for 2.4GHz band applications. The RF module is composed of a low noise amplifier (LNA) with a three stage amplifier, a single ended gate mixer, matching circuits, a hairpin line band pass filter and a Chebyshev low pass filter to convert the radio frequency (RF) into the intermediate frequency (IF). The LNA has a high gain and stability, and the single ended gate mixer has a high conversion gain and wide dynamic range. In the analysis of the broadband RF module, the composite harmonic balance technique is used to analyze the operating characteristics of an RF module circuit. The RF module has a 55.2dB conversion gain with a 1.54dB low noise figure,
wide RF power dynamic range, -60dBm low harmonic spectrum and a good isolation factor among the RF, IF, and local oscillator (LO) ports.
Impulse Noise Removal Using Noise Detector and Total Variation Optimization

A new algorithm for removing salt and pepper impulse noise in image using impulse noise detector and total variation optimization is presented. The proposed two types of noise detectors which are based on the adaptive median filter, can detect impulse noise with high accuracy while reducing the probability of detecting image details as impulses. And the detectors maintain its performance independent of noise density. For removing impulses, total variation optimization is applied only to those detected noise candidate to reduces unnecessary computation. The proposed approach successfully remove impulse noise while preserving image details.
RDB Schema Model of XML Document for Storage Capacity and Searching Efficiency

XML instances for purpose of information exchange are normally stored in the legacy relational database. Therefore, integrations with relational database are required for effective XML applications. To support these requirements, virtual decomposition storage or decomposition storage methods which save separates structures of instances to relational database have researched. However, these storage methods contain different information of schema structure and layers which has caused difficulties to process query during search operation as well as increased overheads due to duplicate savings for separate storages. Therefore, in this research, additional field of 'Eltype' has introduced to previous database schema structure to instance and schema structure, provide consistent level information and propose storage structure to map each field to schema field of relational database. As results, XML instance and structures can be stored together to minimize overheads and required storage-space. Also, synchronized storage layer structure provides easier processing of search query.

The intellectual property system was very important to the past industrial society. It is so important to the 21C information age. It is a leading role to developing these information society. Not only the digital content control but the technology of program source code for the intellectual property is so much mean to international competition. On occurring disputation property, we have to prove the fact, there is a problem to show the original source code. In this paper, we simulate the digital licence for program source code to prevent the infringement of copyright and the tipping-off information.
An Example of ISO 9001 Quality Management System based on BPM

Most organizations adopt a process-based approach to manage their operations and now business process management(BPM) is a well-established concept. Because ISO 9001:2000 has been influenced by BPR and it also emphasizes process based, BPM can get together with ISO 9001:2000. Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information has taken ISO 9001:2000 certificate in November 11, 2003 and has implemented quality management systems based on BPM. We call it KQMS(KISTI Quality Management System). KQMS based on BPMS is a new example in field of ISO quality management and is expected to support process management well.
Integer Programming Approach to Line Optimization of Multiple Surface Mounters

We propose an optimization method for PCB assembly lines including multiple surface mounters. To increase the productivity of PCB assembly line, the component allocation, feeder assignment, and assembly sequence of each surface mounter should be optimized. The optimization Problem is formulated as an integer programming problem. We divide the overall problem into two hierarchical sub-problems: forward-path problem and backward-path problem. The clustering algorithm and branch-and-bound algorithm are applied to solve the forward-path problem. The assignment algorithm and connection algorithm are applied to solve the backward-path problem. Simulation results are presented to verify the usefulness of the proposed method.
A Study on Intelligent Recommendation Agent for a Mobile Envionment

Important issues emerging with the opening of the ubiquitous age are how to present ubiquitous environment and how services and access methods can be provided to users. The present research proposes a system that can provide users with useful information dynamically through intelligent multi agents in mobile environment. The system is composed of profile module, rule generation module, filtering module and service module. It was designed to find users' demands in an intelligent way based on information on users registered through the recommendation agent. We implemented an applied system and proved its performance through an experiment.

Interest about baby health increased into promise of all life health on society. Prevention disease or treatment about baby health is important, but it is important that first of grasping baby state through correct diagnosis. In this paper, diagnosis method for baby ocular inspection of Oriental medicine applying image processing technology is presented. For this, extracting baby frontal face image based on skin color, five sensory organs extraction and extraction of myeongdang based on position information is proposed. Finally, usefulness of method Proposed by an experiment world prove.
Critical Review on the Arguments for Building Three-dimensional Cyberspace to Realize Ubiquitous

Ubiquitous has been a new issue in information technology field. Some people in GIS(Geographic Information Systems) and urban and regional planning have maintained that not only building three dimensional graphic environment in cyberspace is the key for ubiquitous, but also planners should plan and control the new space. They may believe that ubiquitous would be a mixture or/and combination of real-space and cyberspace. For strengthening their arguments, they should show the character of the space can be related to the three dimensional space and planning the space is possible. This study tried to critically analyze their assertion. After reviewing various articles and studies in multidisciplinary view, this challenging analysis shows those arguments need more sophisticated studies and can limit the character of cyberspace which has made the space prosperous.
A Study on the Digital Image Creating Through Emotional Dimension

Such changes that the digital paradigm brought propels a change of the value system itself in the existing society so that a way of thinking that differentiates oneself from others is getting much stronger. As public interests are higher in the image production on the internet, such authoring environments as development of related technologies, expansibility of information, and systematization of available information continue to change. Therefore, a variety of unique image presentations that fit to the changed environments are necessary and an expression method is indispensable for such image production. This study focuses on digital image creating in which a synectics method is applied. It suggests digital image application methods and examples that contain not just simple image distortion or variation but intrinsic significance. It is believed that it will be of good use to produce a variety of unique and innate digital images in the end.
Implementation of Embedded System Based Simulator Controller Using Camera Motion Parameter Extractor

In the past, the Image processing system is independently implemented and has a limit in its application to a degree of simple display. The scope of present image processing system is diversely extended in its application owing to the development of image processing IC chips. In this paper, we implement the image processing system operated independently without PC by converting analogue image signals into digital signals. In the proposed image processing system, we extract the motion parameters from analogue image signals and generate the virtual movement to Simulator and operate Simulator by extracting motion parameters.
Study of Hero-storytelling Model in Console Games

This study is to present 'game-storytelling' is based on 'hero-storytelling' and to transform the basic pattern which is extracted from 'heroic-storytelling' so that it can be applied to 'game-storytelling'. 'Game-storytelling' has the similar foundation as 'heroic storytelling'. It begins with an extraordinary birth, introduction to the strange world, exploration, adventure, birth of a hero and finally return of a hero. The most distinctive feature of stages is the conquest of outer and internal limitation. Each stage goes through the process of compensation and outer, internal acknowledgements. These processes are the structural core of game storytelling. Generally, stage 1 to 5 includes background stories, stage 6 to 9 are the progress of game, and stage 10 to 12 are the transformation of game with rules and genre.
A Study on the Web Contents Analysis of Cultural Tourism Festivals

Relationship Between Job Characteristics and Production Performance of Employees in Production Department - Centered on Moderating Effects of Characteristics of Managerial Accounting Information -

The objective of this study is to verify effects of employees' cognition of their job characteristics in production department of manufacturing companies on production performance and also to verify the moderating effect of the characteristics of managerial accounting information in the relationship between job characteristics and productivity. To achieve this purpose, this study divides the factors of job characteristics into task diversity, task significance, autonomy, and task identity and production performance into flexibility, time, and quality. The results of this study are as follows. First, There is a significant relationship between job characteristics and production performance according to employees' cognition of their job characteristics. Second, There is a significant relationship between job characteristics and production performance according to the characteristics of managerial accounting information.
Effects of Short Term Creatine Loading on Repeated Bouts of Kicking, Plasma Components and Anaerobic power in Taekwondo player

The main purpose of the present study was to find the effect of short term creatine loading on repeated bouts of kicking, plasma creatine phosphokinase and anaerobic power in male taekwondo player from high school. Eighteen male were randomly assigned to two groups. They were tested before and after 6 days of placebo(
glucose d-1, N=9) or Creatine monohydrate loading(consume 0.3g kg-1, N=9). Only creatine loading group were significantly increased of repeated bouts of kicking, plasma creatine phosphokinase and anaerobic power These results suggest that short creatine loading was effective diet protocol in taekwondo player from male high school.
A Study on Causal Relationship About the Reparations Range

Causal relationship means what relations the result occurred have with a fact as a reason. In general, a formular that no result exists without reasons is used for the method to confirm existence and inexistence of causal relationship. Problematic causal relationships in Private Law are reparations (Article No. 393 of Private Law) due to debt nonfulfillment and reparation due to tort (Application of Article No. 393 by Article No. 750, and No. 763 of Private Law). The purpose pursued by reparation system in private law is to promote equal burden of damages, and the range of reparation at this time is decided by the range of damage and the range of damage is decided by the principle of causal relationship. That the causal relationship theory fairly causes confusion by treating one problem and the other problem as the same thing, instead of dividing them according to the purpose of protection presented by the law is a reason of the criticism from different views.
