The Journal of the Korea Contents Association, volume 6, issue 7, 2006, Pages 22~30
The goal of the company and profit maximization can be achieved by creating revenue or reducing costs. What can be done by the effort of the firm itself is possible through cost-reduction rather than through revenue-creation. Under this economic situation, one of the best way for cost-reduction is to reduce cost of logistics. But logistics costs of a firm is continually increased because of the various customer-satisfaction, competition. This study considers that logistics cost management system be able to apply business practice through to used only a merit of CVP(Cost - Volume Profit) analysis method for effective decision making. To conclude, this study depicts that logistics cost management according to used a merit of CVP analysis method can provide information useful for making strategy of logistics. In short, It is reduce to more costs of logistics investment than are necessary. and, I will expect a man who charge logistics to improvement, adaptation, and application.

The Journal of the Korea Contents Association, volume 6, issue 7, 2006, Pages 50~57
The implementation of cellular phone based applications has been growing very fast because of WIPI which is one of hardware independent platforms. In this paper, we design and implement a system to combine the animation avatar and e-mail service by using WIPI platform, so that the user can symbolize himself/herself by his/her avatar in using the email. Also, as the general email applications have functions to integrate the email and the scheduling, this system has the integrated email & scheduling functionality. At the same time, This system uses SMS service in order to notify scheduled time and it synchronizes the schedule data with Microsoft Outlook on the computer. So, this system extends the existing email applications by supporting the mobility.

Chung Dong-Su ; Kim Byun-Gon ; Park Kwang-Chae ; Cho Hae-Seong ;
The Journal of the Korea Contents Association, volume 6, issue 7, 2006, Pages 58~68
There are two traditional scheduling methods known as PQ and WRR in the DiffServ network, however, these two scheduling methods have some drawbacks. In this paper, we propose an algorithm that can be adopted in WRR scheduler with making up for weak points of PQ and WRR. The proposed algorithm produces the control discipline by the fuzzy theory to dynamically assign the weight of WRR scheduler with checking the Queue status of each class. To evaluate the performance of the proposed algorithm, We accomplished a computer simulation using NS-2. From simulation results, the proposed algorithm improves the packet loss rate of the EF class traffic to 6.5% by comparison with WRR scheduling method and that of the AF4 class traffic to 45% by comparison with PQ scheduling method.
Performance Analysis of Active Optical Ring Network System for the Efficient Transmission
Lee Sang-Wha ;
The Journal of the Korea Contents Association, volume 6, issue 7, 2006, Pages 69~78
In this paper, we presents the efficiency and a transmission quality of the system which is composed of the optical elements from physical layer of the active optical ring network. For a simulation it will use the Transmissionmaker WDM and it will be able to observation a optical transmission quality of the optical transmission system. The active optical network is composed of two rings(main ring and sub-ring). It measures the BER(Bit Error Rate) quality which it follows node number from the sub ring and physical distance of the node. Performance analysis from the physical layer becomes the standard of the plan for the efficiency optimization of the active optical ring network. Consequently it will be able to compose the efficient optical transmission system which reflects the physical distance, a traffic demand quantity of each node and a number of users from actual network.
Theoretical Considerations for Formation and Roles of International Organizations : With Special Regard to Experiential Cases of IAEA
Kim Tae-Woon ;
The Journal of the Korea Contents Association, volume 6, issue 7, 2006, Pages 79~89
This study attempted theoretical considerations for the formation and roles of international organizations. More specifically, the study examined experiential cases of IAEA's formation and roles, based on the points of realist and liberalist paradigms that show different viewpoints on the formation and roles of international organizations. The findings of this study show that many parts cannot be explained only with theoretical assumptions of liberalist paradigm, such as international organizations' functional merits, game rules, interdependent interests and role independence. Especially as seen in the formation and operation cases of IAEA, the formation of international organizations is mainly motivated by the security of vested rights among powers and their roles may be changed, depending on the mutual policy objectives of the countries concerned.. In this respect, international organizations do not seem to be strictly protected in independence or efficiency of their roles. Therefore, the liberalist hegemony stability theory is useful to explain the formation and roles of international organizations.
A Color Image Watermarking Technique by Embedding a Fresnel-Transformed Pattern
Lee Chang-Jo ; Kang Seok ;
The Journal of the Korea Contents Association, volume 6, issue 7, 2006, Pages 90~98
Digital watermarking is a technique embedding hidden information into multimedia data imperceptibly such as images and sounds. Generally an original image is transformed and coded watermark data is embedded in frequency domain watermarking models. In this paper, We propose a new color image watermarking technique using Fresnel transform. A watermark image is Fresnel - transformed and the intensity of transformed pattern is embedded into color image. In our watermarking model, an original image is converted from RGB components into YCrCb components and then the values of real number and imaginary number of a Fresnel-transformed pattern of a watermark image are embedded into Y component. The watermarking experiments were conducted to show the validity of the proposed method using PSNR value, and the results show that our method has the robustness against lossy compression like JPEG.
