Improvement of Pattern Oriented Software Architecture Design Approach with Empirical Design of USN Middleware

The Sensor Network enables many distributed systems to be unmanned and automated by using of diverse sensors as well as wireless communication technologies. One of major enabling technologies for the sensor network is the USN middleware which plays the role of collecting and analyzing of measurements of sensors and controlling of the environments. The paper deals with the fungus cultivating environment based on Sensor Networks. Especially, we focus on the design of USN middleware for the embedded system, and explain how to design software architecture in terms of architectural patterns. In this design process, the improvement of methodology for pattern-oriented architecture design is proposed and the quality attributes for the architecture design is newly classified and suggested for the reference of software architecture design.
Development and Management of an Ontology and Registries for Sharing Metadata about Business Process Specifications under SOA

While standardization and its applications for registering and sharing information resources about B2B transactions such as business documents are relatively well developed, it is not easy to register and share business process resources because there are many ways to define complex business processes using different specification(definition) languages. In practice, there are several competing business process specification languages applicable under service-oriented architecture (SOA) such as ebXML BPSS, WS-BPEL, BPMN and so on. A systematic way has to be prepared to register/share diverse and heterogeneous specifications represented using those languages. This paper demonstrates the usefulness of sharing B2B business processes by prototyping a business process registry called ebRR4BP. First of all, we designed a metadata ontology to support the registration of diverse B2B business processes. To implement the proposed metadata ontology using ebXML registries, a mapping scheme to ebXML Registry Information Model is also suggested. The ontology and mapping scheme will be a foundation for supporting common interchange of business process metadata among B2B resistries.
User and Item based Collaborative Filtering Using Classification Property Naive Bayesian

The collaborative filtering has used the nearest neighborhood method based on the preference and the similarity using the Pearson correlation coefficient. Therefore, it does not reflect content of the items and has the problems of the sparsity and scalability as well. the item-based collaborative filtering has been practically used to improve these defects, but it still does not reflect attributes of the item. In this paper, we propose the user and item based collaborative filtering using the classification property and Naive Bayesian to supplement the defects in the existing recommendation system. The proposed method complexity refers to the item similarity based on explicit data and the user similarity based on implicit data for handing the sparse problem. It applies to the Naive Bayesian to the result of reference. Also, it can enhance the accuracy as computation of the item similarity reflects on the correlative rank among the classification property to reflect attributes.
Staff-line Detection and Removal Algorithm for Mobile Phone-based Recognition of Musical Images

In this paper, we propose a staff-line detection and removal algorithm from a music score image obtained by a mobile phone camera. As a preprocessing technique to recognize a music score image, staff-line detection and removal should be efficiently applied to the skewed or curved images. The proposed method detects a staff-line by dividing a staff according to the degree of distortion. The number of division is calculated by dividing a staff repletely until an average of differences of y coordinates in every divided position is smaller than a threshold. Therefore, the number of division can be adaptively estimated according to the degree of the distortion. For an experiment, we make various kinds of images by rotating one from
or curving slightly upward. The results show that the proposed method performed well on the experiment images.
A Study on Policy Design of Secure XML Access Control

Access control techniques should be flexible enough to support all protection granularity levels. Since access control policies are very likely to be specified in relation to document types, it is necessary to properly manage a situation in which documents fail to be dealt with by the existing access control policies. The existing access control has not taken information structures and semantics into full account due to the fundamental limitations of HTML. In addition, access control for XML documents allows only read operations, and there exists the problem of slowing down system performance due to the complex authorization evaluation process. In order to resolve this problem, this paper designs a XML Access Control Management System which is capable of making fined-grained access control. And then, in developing an access control system, it describes the subject and object policies of authorization for XML document on which authorization levels should be specified and which access control should be performed.

The game software development involves planning, programming and graphics. Between planning and programming, software analysis and design is essential and plays the role of a bridge. This article analyzes, for game software, the applicability of formal methods, which are widely used in general software engineering fields. Since the effective communication between game planners and game developers is crucial, appropriate application of formal methods give us a lot of benefits in view of development cost and software quality.

According to the development of service industry recently, the use of call taxi service is increased to use a taxi more comfortably. But related firms hesitate to construct a call center on account of enormous expense of constructing. Hence we developed the system that can minimize expense of constructing a call center which use a cellular phone. The proposed system is different from the existing call system of using a terminal method. we designed by applying UML(Unified Modeling Language) the system that can integrate and manage operations of customer management, driver management, order management and settlement of accounts etc. more efficiently using CTI(Computer Telephony Integration). Then the designed system is constructed by using Visual Basic 6.0. For implementing CTI more effectively, calling number of customer is received in PC using CID that is commercialized and then the customer's information is retrieved in the Database in real-time. The system proposed in this paper is possible to construct at low expense, can improve customer service level through an efficient customer management solution.
Efficient Distributed Processing Scheme for Load Balancing of MMORPG Servers

In this paper, we propose a new distributed processing scheme to support MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Games). But existing distributed game servers have some problems such as hotspot, congestion, server failure problems, and so on. To solve such problems, our proposed scheme begins by splitting the large virtual world into smaller regions, each region handled by a different server. We present a scheme that reduces the bandwidth requirements for both game servers and clients. Also our scheme allows seamless interaction among players residing on areas handled by different servers. We show an excellence of the proposed solution through various experiments.
Characteristics of Sequentially-Rotated Array Antenna by Varying Sequential Array Parameter

In the sequentially rotated array antennas, the characteristics of antenna gain, axial ratio and cross polarization have been analyzed with a varying of sequential array constant(number of array element, figure of rotation) respectively. Where the antenna element of array is a probe feeding, LHCP truncated microstrip antenna whose resonant frequency is in 11.85GHz. The simulation results of 23 SRA antennas((M=2, 3, 4, 6, 8),
) has shown as follows. The widest 3dB bandwidth of axial ratio appears at P=2 which is in-dependant of M, the highest antenna gain appears when a sequential array constant has a pair of (2, 1), (3, 2), (4, 1), (6, 3), (8, 1) respectively. Specially, all of the SRA antenna appear very poor characteristics in case of M=P. Therefore the SRA antenna has to be designed as selecting a optimal sequential array constant among a lot of simulation data.
Modeling and Analysis of Power Consumed by System Bus for Multimedia SoC

This paper presents a methodology that accelerates estimating the system-level power consumption for on-chip bus of SoC platforms. The proposed power modeling can estimate the power consumption according to the change of a target SoC system. The proposed model comprises two parts: the one is power estimation of bus logics reflecting the architecture of the bus such as the number of bus layers, the other is to estimate the power consumed by the bus lines during data transmission. We designed the target multimedia SoC system, MPEG encoder as an example and evaluated power consumption using this model. The simulation result shows that the accuracy of the proposed model is over 92%. Thus, the proposed power model can be used to design of a high-performance/low-power multimedia SoC.
Implementation of Engine Generating Mutation Worm Signature Using LCSeq

We introduce the way to detect the mutation worm. We implemented the program that can generate signature using LCSeq(Longest Common Subsequence) technique in Suffix Tree studied as pattern recognition algorithm. We also showed the process to detect the mutation of CodeRed worm and Nimda worm and evaluated signatures generated by snort and LCSeq.
Portable RFID Reader for 900MHz Band

In this paper, a portable RFID reader which operated in 900MHz UHF band is designed and fabricated and the characteristics of the manufactured portable RFID reader is analyzed through measurement. Analysis of measurements results is achieved based on EPC Class 0 standards that proposed by EPC Global. The proposed RFID reader communicate with tags about 11kbps speed, and have 20 dBm for its maximum RF output power. The proposed portable RFID reader can recognize maximum 68 tags per second, and when reader's output power is 20 dBms, maximum recognition distance is 30cm. And the total size of implemented RFID reader is
, that is the maximum 90%, minimum 14% reduced size compared with marketed product.
Routing Protocol for Wireless Sensor Network Considering Data Transmission Stability and Load Quantity

Sensor networks are needed for special purposes such as collecting or transmitting information by using sensor devices, for which various routing protocols have been proposed. Among existing protocols, the modified PEGASIS routing technique is known to be effective when applied to cases with directional transmissions of data. However it does not consider recovery from errors or guaranteeing stability in data transmission, while sensor devices performing repetitive relays and controls are prone to errors. In this paper, a double relay routing protocol for Zigbee based sensor networks where data are transfered reliably with a linear direction. The proposed protocol is effective in the sense that it secures the relaible transmission of data with minimal energy consumption based on a directional data transfer. A streetlight control system has been presented as an application of the proposed protocol.

As the Internet is more embedded in people's lives, users draw on new Internet applications to express themselves through user-created contents(UCC). UCC is defined as content that is made publicly available over the Internet, reflects a certain amount of creative effort and is created outside of professional practices. This study describes the rapid growth of UCC as well as its increasing role in network-based communication. Based on the definition of UCC and the structure of emerging value chain, a taxonomy of UCC businesses is presented : UCC e-marketing business, UCC publishing business, UCC e-retailing business, and UCC development software business. This paper concludes with implications for platform and internet access providers.

Culture Management through Vision and Practical of Jewelry Design Education

Social recognition conversion of the jewelry-related industries must be preceded by changes of responsibility of both the staff in charge and educators in education objections. Based on the debate of whether or not increasing (public) interest in jewelry design will subsequently lead to bringing about vision and possibility in the form of cultural management, this paper examined the influences that logical systematization of jewelry design and educational process of jewelry designers' ethics have on the next generation of the cultural industry of jewelry. Through the education and the industry of Italy, this paper analyzed existent method of design, current trend, and new content sand cases of design management that are based on types of consumption. In addition, it also provided the developmental possibility of future culture industry, and the foundation of ethical philosophy of jewelry education that lies beyond national economic power. I intend to imply significance of how designer's perception and conduct provides the whole new conventional foundation of sympathy and sensitivity and the existent method of design.
Gender-Identity of Animation Character

The image calls forth the curiosity of the children. children experience the many thing through the image and it makes children to study naturally. Specially, the animation socializes children and it plays an important role in form of a self-identity. The gender-identity reappearance of the animation character is important. Gender-identity reappearance type of the animation character is able to classify with the reappearance type of visual information and the narrative. The narrative reappearance type does more clearly visual information reappearance type. Also classifying the gender-identity of animation character aspects into each type, they are; gender stereotype that character reflects the conservative and commercial ideology; gender non-stereotype that character doesn't reflect gender stereotype. But reappearance of the gender non-stereotype character as well, it is stopping in the exaggeration or the caricature of gender role of the character. Consequently the animation characters must be reappeared with the character which have the future oriented gender identity-as one human being that forms a value subjectively. The animation which reappears the future oriented gender-identity plants a proper self-perception and gender role in children and relaxes the traditional gender-identity which is already acquired.
Effect of Sex Appeal Advertising

Study on how a visual image of sex-appealing advertisement is meaningfully functioned and how customers recognize it is necessary but preceding studies about it are not sufficient. Therefore, this study analyzed effect of advertisement and its reaction according types of visual expression in sex-appealing advertisement and also, it found effective expression type of sex-appealing advertisement. As the result, according to appealing types of eroticism and pornograph, attitude on advertizement and intention of purchase showed difference and according to expressing types, there was difference in attitude on advertisement, attitude on brand, and intention of purchase. But there was not interactive effect between appealing type and expressing type. Such results implied that in using eroticism advertisement strategy, white and black color had higher expressing effect than natural color, to raise effect of brand, artistic sense and eroticism strategy were needed, and to raise intention of purchase, naked expression of pornograph was more effective.
Editorial Design for Effective Research Report of Excavating Cultural Properties

We are depending on tedious work by hand with tremendous time and effort in order to measure drawing of relics and remains despite of advanced computer and editing technology. Also, it is necessary to improve a designing element in the research report of cultural properties although we have more editorial and technical skills than we have done. The purpose of this article is to help to develop an aesthetic element and measurement of drawing of relics and remains for the effective editing in the current cultural properties research report. At the same time, through the gradual improvement of 3D scan and photographing techniques, research report of cultural properties will create database with useful and valuable material and provide aesthetic and efficient information.
Korea's Design Prototypetyle

Design prototype is described from the stately aspect as a principle of formative art, and from the shapeable aspect of physical feature. The prototype can be a common denominator which is contained in one nation's culture, art and life, as the thing which corresponds to the daily industrial craft, architecture and art's production intention and activity with the thought and background of the culture. We have formed the design prototypes with time and space in the process which absorbs and integrates the new culture. Modern Korean design's prototype can be seen in the late Chosun. As the upper culture and sub-culture were combined, the active culture was developed. Nobody can deny that Chosun's culture and art becomes a basis of today's design and Korea's beauty. In creating the design prototype, the natural environmental factors such as topography and climate are the most important. Such natural environmental factor led the design recognition of art and craft art, as well as an architecture and indoor environment's form. Korea design produced the artisan sprite which is devoted to a moral duty and instinct as our nation's nature and emotion, and ensured the emotional process not the rational process. So, it created naturalism which accepted the material and shape. Our design prototype's path tracking as an energy of future society's new design identity, can be the important theme for our design development.
Plastic Material for Interior Product Design

The plastic furniture made of new materials has enriched and broadened our everyday life not only through development of manufacture but also through consumptions since 1960's. In relation as well to the need of reducing energy consumption and contributing to environment, the weight of plastic materials has raised concerns in recently. Our rapidly changing lifestyle demands a new design that meet recognition of inflection. In conclusion, as we are preparing to enter into the 21st Century, we should go forward with hope and do so with dispatch-dazzling all of us with boldness, thinking imaginatively, transform indifference into action, moving things to the next level in plastic industries. From this study we have found that it would be useful to understand that the development of technological plastic materials for seat furniture has enabled designers to create more and more sophisticated design in our millennium life.
A Study of Advertisement Businessmen's Perceptions of Advertisement Education in College

In accordance with the rapid growth of advertisement business, the advertisement education in college also has grown in quantity. But compared with this growth in volume, the dissatisfaction with curriculum and alumni's business ability is a problem to be settled in advertisement education. The purpose of this research is to provide creative ideas for the improvement of advertisement education in college that is needed for the advertisement field, by means of a survey for those who are concerned in advertisement education including personnel managers in advertisement companies and senior workers who have worked with new faces. The survey was done for 137 employees who are working for advertisement companies. The result of this research shows that there are differences between the education content provided by advertisement education in colleges and the ability needed for business. This research suggests that the curriculum in college should be operated to create the ability required in advertisement business, and two parties concerned in advertisement education (college and advertisement company) need to continually try to extend the mutual interest and understanding.

As Korean online game market is saturated, Korean online game companies are trying to push into North American market. In order to succeed in foreign markets, understanding of user characteristics in that country is most important. In this study, investigation on user characteristics has been performed using user DB from A online game and B online game. They are currently in service by M company in America. Connection time, payment, and royalty are analyzed as a results. Based on the analysis, several advance strategies into North America are suggested. This results could be very useful for Korean MMORPG company to try to push into North America.
Business Models for SongTan Ubiquitous City

This paper presents the main business models in ubiquitous city (u-City), the future city strategically integrated with the ubiquitous computing technology. Based on the concept of u-City, the chief services related to the u-City that has been actively developed are analysed, and then the best main four business models (u-Tour, u-ITS, u-SCM and B2B) for SongTan city are presented. The four business models are selected from making an analysis for the present situation of the tour industries, industrial complex, traditional market in SongTan. With the business models, the strategies to realize the active business transactions, high revenues, high value-adding industries, self-sufficient business through the construction of u-City are also presented. Finally, the promoting plans for local autonomy party, citizen party and consortium of industries/universities/researches to give an comfortable u-Life to citizen in SongTan are described.
Combination of GPS, Echo Sounder and GIS for Constructing 3D Riverbed Surveying System

In this research, we constructed a 3D riverbed surveying system that is able to acquire the topographical information of a riverbed in real-time. The system consists of a RTK-GPS receiver and a echo sounder for collecting simultaneously the position and the water depth information of riverbed. A program for data composition and transformation was designed to generate the 3D coordinates by combining data of a GPS receiver and a echo sounder and made GIS database construction easy. We extracted TIN, digital elevation model and cross sectional maps of the riverbed by using GIS software from 3D data constructed through test surveying. It was shown that the accuracy of the result was RMS error of 0.069m when compared with the existing methods which use a total station and staffs. It is expected that the 3D riverbed surveying system wiil be able to be utilized to various surveying for water resources management in rivers, sea, dams, storing reservoirs and so forth.
Developing Educational Content for Analysis of Container Terminal Operation

Recently, the development of an evaluation method with operational rules have become issues for efficient planning and operations of container terminals. Container terminals are required to have enough berths and container yards as well as various equipments and facilities, but in reality there are many differences in their resources owing to the circumstances of each terminal. This study introduces a simulation model to evaluate various operation rules for teaching and training in class. This paper can analyze various factors (e.g. throughputs, yard and berth occupancies, etc.) and shows operational alternatives considering design factors of a container terminal with the related circumstances of each terminal.
Application and Analysis of Cooperative Learning Contents Construction Tools for Improving Interaction in e-Learning

With the advance of information technology, e-learning is widely used. However, due to the lack of human computer interaction, e-mentoring or blended learning are adopted to complement the drawbacks of e-learning these days. One of the common purposes for adopting these tools is to enhance the interaction level by using bbs or blogs based on e-communities. If the cooperative learning contents management tools that share learners' knowledge in e-learning are provided, interactivity and educational effects can be enhanced. In this paper, a tree-based learning contents construction tool and a community-based cooperative learning contents construction tools that can share the learners' knowledge are proposed. Also, we analyze the influencing factors to the learners by using the proposed tools.
Development of Basic Education Models of Stop-Motion Techniques

Stop-motion is a technique that should be in the basic stage of the animation education, as it gives a chance for students to learn a three-dimensional sense about the movement, just to name a few, as this technique can give movements to actual objects in real life. As the old animation education is consist of forms to make a short animation. most students got a situation that they should be reeducated about 'movement' at their work after graduation from the school. It is necessary to have a systematic education about basic movement for 16 weeks to solve the problem under these circumstances. Therefore this researcher came to seek a more effective way for students who aim to major in stop-motion as well as students who try to nurture their basic capability of animation. This study aimed to present the optimized education model for the basic stage of the stop-motion technique specifically around expressions such as 'walking/ free-movement/ facial expression'.
The Impacts of Compensation and Relationships with Supervisors and Colleagues on Job Satisfaction and Turnover Intention of Travel Agent employees

The objectives of this study are to analyze the impact of compensation and human relationships with their peers and supervisors on job satisfaction and turnover intention of travel agent employees. To achieve these objectives, as a conceptual framework of the study, compensation system and human relationships with colleagues and supervisors, and job satisfaction and turnover intention were reviewed, and the empirical studies on employees' perceptions in travel agencies toward job satisfaction and turnover intention were conducted. According to the findings of this study, the following suggestions were presented to the domestic travel agencies. Travel agencies are needed to prepare reward systems in their companies and try to have them operated fairly, and it is necessary for the travel agencies to try to manage the employees' stress at work and the problems caused from the human relationships between peers as well as manager and staff.
Relationship between Participation in Sport for All, Social Support and Solitude among the Aged

The purposes of this study were to examine the relationship between participation in sport for all, social support and solitude among the aged. To attain the goal of the study described above paragraphs, the older person resided in Seoul and Gyonggi, 2006 year were set as a collected group. Then, using the cluster random sampling method, finally drew out and analyzed 245 people in total. The result of reliability check up was here below; over Chronbach's
=.775. To analyze materials, factor analysis, ANCOVA, multiple regression analysis and path analysis were used as statistic analysis techniques. The conclusion based on above study method and the result of material analysis are below. Based upon the result of the study, the conclusions are the followings; First, participation experience of sport for all don't influence on the social support. Second, participation experience of sport for all influence on the solitude. Third, participation degree of sport for all influence on the social support. Fourth, participation degree of sport for all influence on the solitude. Fifth, participation in sport for all indirectly and directly influence on the social support and solitude.
Structural Relationship among Job Characteristics, Empowerment, Organizational Commitment and Organizational Citizenship Behavior of Food-Service Contingent Workers

The purpose of this study is completed on the concept of Job Characteristics, Empowerment, Organizational Commitment and Organizational Citizenship Behavior through approaching empirically to the present state by searching various mutual relations with Job Characteristics, Empowerment, Organizational Commitment and Organizational Citizenship Behavior. For the study, research data was collected from 20 food-service outlets in Seoul, each variable is measured by Likert's 7-point scale. The results were as follows; First, job characteristics has a positive influence on empowerment, organizational commitment. Second, empowerment haven't significant effect on organizational commitment. Third, empowerment has a positive influence on organizational citizenship behavior. Fourth, the subject of this study was limited to Seoul. For this reason, it is difficult to generalize the results of this study to the overall food -service contingent workers.
Production and Application of Pagoda Dharani Contents Using the Ten-storied Stone Pagoda of Wongaksa Temple Site

While the cultural contents industry plays main role in global contents market recently, the market of Buddhist cultural property contents is still in insufficient state. Specially, despite most cultural properties is Buddhist cultural property in Korea, there is a lot of difficult problems in preserving, restoring and designing its prototype as cultural property. So, this research intends to contribute to the development of Buddhist design and Buddhist culture contents by developing the Pagoda Dharani contents using the Ten-storied Stone Pagoda on the Site of Wongaksa. The first thing is designing the Pagoda Dharani using the Ten-storied Stone Pagoda on the Site of Wongaksa. Also, using the Pagoda Dharani, we design and implement the Pagoda Dharani contents on the web. In this paper, by using the proposed the Pagoda Dharani contents, the previous activation problem of the Buddhist culture contents can be resolved.
Investigation of Standardization for Natural Disaster Classification

Right comprehension of the natural disaster could reduce the damage of human life and property by explaining the cause of the disaster and considering a counterplan to decrease or prevent it. To do this, it should precede to clarify the category of the natural disaster and classification. Also, when the disaster occurs, swift site survey and the establishment of the data by the professionals should be done for clarifying the reason. Our classification of the natural disaster is written on the Law of the Nature Disaster Relief. But, this classification is made for the management of the disaster, so it is required to review the establishment of the technical information by the professionals. Therefore, the Korean type classification is required considered by the professionals who collect and study the information of the natural disaster for the other countries. If the DB of the natural disaster is made, it is able to get various services through the internet virtual space and it will be helpful to prepare the prevent countermeasures against the disaster. In this research, the korean type classification plan of the natural disaster is suggested which is suitable to the professional technology by collecting and analyzing the domestic and the international classification of the natural disaster.
