Development of Conversion Solutions for Interoperability of Applications on Different Mobile Internet Platforms

Cellular operators develop high speed mobile internet and multi-function cellular phones to activate new business model based on mobile internet services. Domestic cellular operators evolve their mobile networks from cdma2000-1x and EvDo to HSDPA to activate high speed mobile internet services. They also develop mobile internet platforms such as WIPI, BREW, and J2ME on multi-function cellular phones having multimedia solutions such as camera, MP3, MPEG, 3D game engine, DMB, PAN such as bluetooth, IrDA, W-LAN, and location information using GPS. But, content providers have problems of redevelopment of the same mobile internet application on different mobile internet platforms provided by cellular operators. In this paper, we develop conversion solutions for interoperability of mobile internet applications on WIPI and BREW using an one-pass compiler. We confirm the performance the proposed conversion solutions for the API conversion rate, the converted file size, and the full conversion time using the popular mobile games which are the killer applications on WiPI and BREW.
Improvement of EPC Class-1 Anticollision Algorithm for RFID Air-Interface Protocol

In this paper, Class-1 Air-interface protocols of EPCglobal applied to RFID system in UHF band are analyzed, and the standard anticollision algorithms are realized. Also, the improved anticollision algorithms of the Class-1 Generation-1 and Generation-2 protocol are proposed and the performances of anticollision algorithms are compared. As the results, reduction ratio of total tag recognition time of the improved Generation-1 algorithm is 54.5% for 100 tags and 63.4% for 1000 tags with respect to standard algorithm, respectively. And the reduction ratio of the improved Generation-2 algorithm is 7.9% for 100 tags and 11.7% for 1000 tags. Total recognition times of the improved algorithms are shorter than those of standard algorithms according to increasing the number of tag. Therefore, the improved anticollision algorithm proposed in this paper is the advanced method improving the performance of tag recognition in the RFID system.
Sender Authentication Mechanism based on DomainKey with SMS for Spam Mail Sending Protection

Although E-mail system is considered as a most important communication media, 'Spam' is flooding the Internet with many copies of the same message, in an attempt to force the message on people who would not otherwise choose to receive it. Most spam is commercial advertising, often for dubious products, get-rich-quick schemes, or quasi-legal services. Therefore advanced anti-spam techniques are required to basically reduce its transmission volume on sender mail server or MTA, etc. In this study, we propose a new sender authentication model with encryption function based on modified DomainKey with SMS for Spam mail protection. From the SMS message, we can get secret information used for verification of its real sender on e-mail message. And by distributing this secret information with SMS like out-of-band channel, we can also combine proposed modules with existing PGP scheme for secure e-mail generation and authentication steps. Proposed scheme provide enhanced authentication function and security on Spam mail protection function because it is a 'dual mode' authentication mechanism.
RFID Reader Antenna with Hilbert Curve Fractal Structure over Partially Grounded Plane

In this paper, UHF band RFID reader antenna using filbert curve fractal structure and adding the partially grounded plane at the bottom of antenna, which has a resonant frequency at 910MHz, is proposed. Input impedance of antenna is matched with the feed line of 50ohm by varying the length and width of line segment making up the antenna, and by moving the position of via hole. The gain and directivity of antenna is enhanced as varying the dimension of the partially grounded plane and adding the line segment. The size of fabricated antenna is

Power Controlled Dual-Channel MAC Protocol in Ad hoc Networks based on Location Awareness

Ad hoc network is a wireless network without fixed base stations or any wired backbone infrastructure. In the DUDMAC protocol, ORTS and OCTS in control channel solve the problem of deafness and DDATA and DACK in data channel improve spatial reuse by using the efficient blocking algorithm for directional antennas. In this paper, we propose the PCDUDMAC (Power Controlled DUDMAC) protocols. In the PCDUDMAC protocol, the power control of DATA/DACK in data channel saves transmission power and improves spatial reuse. We confirm the throughput performance of the proposed MAC protocol by computer simulations using Qualnet ver.3.8 simulator.
Center-based Shared Route Decision Algorithms for Multicasting Services

Recently, with the IPTV services, e-learning, real-time broadcasting and e-contents, many application services need the multicasting routing protocol. In this paper, the performance of the algorithm to assign the rendezvous router (RP: rendezvous point) in the center-based multicasting mesh network is analyzed. The estimated distance to select RP in the candidate nodes is calculated, and the node minimizing the distance is selected as the optimal RP. We estimate the distance by using the maximum distance, average distance, and mean of the maximum and average distance between the RP and members. The performance of the algorithm is compared with the optimal algorithm of all enumeration. With the assumptions of mesh network and randomly positioned for sources and members, the simulations for different parameters are studied. From the simulation results, the performance deviation between the algorithm with minimum cost and optimal method is evaluated as 6.2% average.
Performance Analysis and Comparison on Mobility Management Schemes for NGN(Next Generation Network)

For supporting seamless service in NGN, various schemes for mobility are studying in ITU-T, 3GPP, IETF, and so on. Currently, mobility support schemes such as MIPv6, IP2, Q.MMF, IMS was introduced. However the performance analysis and comparison of all existing schemes is not examined as yet. That is, the existing mobility methods need to be compared according to same performance parameter. So, in this paper, we investigate and compare the performances of MIPv6, IP2, Q.MMF on latency during location registration. The latency in location registration is consider as cost and time. Then, the performance analysis of Q.MMF Case1 has shown the best performance as it is measured the minimum cost and time. Q.MMF Case1 is the location registration process in case that MT moves within a local network. As LLM in a access network manages the location of MT in this case, Q.MMF Case1 has lower location cost and time than other cases.
Development of Apparel Coordination System Using Personalized Preference on Semantic Web

Internet is a part of our common life and tremendous information is cumulated. In these trends, the personalization becomes a very important technology which could find exact information to present users. Previous personalized services use content based filtering which is able to recommend by analyzing the content and collaborative filtering which is able to recommend contents according to preference of users group. But, collaborative filtering needs the evaluation of some amount of data. Also, It cannot reflect all data of users because it recommends items based on data of some users who have similar inclination. Therefore, we need a new recommendation method which can recommend prefer items without preference data of users. In this paper, we proposed the apparel coordination system using personalized preference on the semantic web. This paper provides the results which this system can reduce the searching time and advance the customer satisfaction measurement according to user's feedback to system.
Intelligent Context-Aware System for Home Automation

Context awareness using intelligent system is emphasized in order to provide automatic services in home automatic system. In this paper, we propose the intelligent context-aware system for home automation. To implement home automation, we first collect various events occuring in user's home, which are saved as a case form. We use the saved data as a training data of a neural network algorithm and then apply to intelligent context aware system for home automation. This system provide "right situations do right things" for user. Also this system has intelligent ability.
Flow Experiences and Distorted Sense of Time in Computer-Mediated Environment : Comparative Study of Media Environments

Flow theory has been borrowed from psychology to address positive user experiences with computers and Internet. The flow experience in computer-mediated environment (CME) has been correlated to increased communication, loaming, exploratory behavior and positive affect. A comparative experiment between CME and traditional paper-pencil environment was conducted to verify whether particular environments or interfaces are more conducive to yielding flow among users. The results showed that there were no differences in flow dimensions except 'enjoyment' between CME and paper-pencil environment. But the distorted senses of time among users were significantly different between the media environments.

Post-modern period differentiates itself from Modern period in many aspects. One of these is the emphasis on phenomena which are ephemeral and changing. This paper looks at the psychological bases of these expressions of time & change in contemporary design and their affordances on human behavior. It also analyzes the types of time & change design on the basis of the behaviors they afford. This will lead us to the understanding of how the design including time & change expresses the spirit of the age and how it can play positive roles in human psychology.
Storytelling Model of Computer Games - Focused on Analysis of Starcraft by Greimas's Schema of Narrative Theory

This paper attempts to construct a storytelling model of computer games by using the Greimas's schema of narrative. Analysis target is multi-play of Starcraft, which has the non-linearity and interactivity. As a result, the process of manipulation and sanction, occurred in epistemological level at very short time and the process of competence had lots of small schema of narratives and repeated that small narratives. This model may be applied to other games, because it looks that most of games have very short process of manipulation and sanction at epistemological level and have long process of competence as main game play.
Consideration on Role and Functions of Game Rating Board

Recently, Game Rating Board has been established. It is to follow worldwide trend in building up publicity, autonomy and professionalism under the framework to assure freedom of expression. This article analyzed major nation's game rating system, and showed some points to need improvement which are to have more detailed classification in game rating, to modify contents descriptor, to appoint committee members with expertise on game, to revise articles to be capable of misuse, and to become a nongovernmental organization.
Effective Way of Providing Digital Contents Under Ubiquitous and Changing Media Environment

This study explored the characteristics of media contents in the past, present and future. Also, it investigated the problems in terms of production of contents and circulation in order to find an effective way of providing contents that can keep pace with ubiquitous environment as well as one source multi use in various platforms and channels. In conclusion, it is viewed easy to expect that content would be the most valuable assets in ubiquitous media environments and the importance of contents will be more growing. Rather than game and enjoyment-related contents, more informative and cultural programs will be more valuable so policy-makers as well as industry need to more cultivate this area. In addition, this study presented the method for copyright protection and suggested that governmental policy fostering independent production should also be followed.
'Master Character Set-up' for Effective Management of 3D Animation Pipe Line

The current 3D CG animation pipe line, which is the production system, does not have an effective solution that all animation departments are able to start their jobs independently against other animation departments. It is generally acknowledged that we could not do animating task before the modeling and set-up task. This kind of process has caused loss of labour. We could expect lasting problems which is stopping marking animating process before the previous process done again in case of requiring editing the jobs which are modeling and set-up. We could solve these "bottleneck" situation with "master character" defined as standard, so that animate and retake the job independently against other departments. These new process could accelerate the animation pipe line system.

In this study, the use of abstraction has been considered, focusing on the abstract metaphoric expressions presented in Animatrix and it has a purpose as the case study in the use of abstraction as a unique element of animation in which imaginative ideas and stimuli are significantly important and the pioneering works of abstract animations were produced in the early 20th century. Main problem in the domestic motion capture type production is that motion data are used even in the case when the human sensibility is needed. In other words it fails to give human images to the work, and production method only use motion capture data unconditionally and impetuously. Even though motion capture is effective and are various and applicable to various areas, it would cause enormous lose of capital and manual labor if these problems are not solved. In the present study, we compare motion capture with key animation production and analyze the merits and short comings of them. Also, we analyze them through the actual production and present the efficient method of key animation production when the expensive motion capturing devices are not available.
Motion of Buoyant Objects on Regular Waves

When buoyant objects appear in contents, it is helpful in developing contents to express their attributes such as their length, width, weight, and velocity, and the magnitude and direction of regular waves dynamically. Therefore, we verify how the attributes of buoyant objects and the characteristics of waves cause the heaving motion of buoyant objects to change by using the equation of motion used in the naval architecture and ocean engineering. Our research results may help contents developers to develop contents with buoyant objects even if they do not understand the naval architecture and ocean engineering well. We show that we can calculate the motion of buoyant objects dynamically even if the velocity of buoyant objects or the characteristics of waves change dynamically. In the future, we will study how buoyant objects move on the irregular waves, and develop engines for buoyant objects on the real sea.
General Idea of Danger in Police Law

The exercise of police power for danger prevention gives top priority to the prevention of injury occurrence. However, the controversy over the concept of danger has hitherto focused on the limit establishment, namely which scope is to be a target of prevention in the danger prevention area of the Police Law. After all, the police's duty for maintaining public peace and order is forced to be peformed through individual measures for danger prevention, and the preventive police action, which aims at the prevention of danger against the protection interest in the Police Law, can be performed on the premise of a precise understanding of danger in order to carry out a legitimate preventive police action. In addition, it examines the legal meaning in each constitution element by dividing the minimum common components of danger into loss, sufficient probability and time accessibility, and the interpretation problem of danger as uncertainty concept.
Evaluation of Usefulness in New Immobilization Device with 3D CT Angiography for Lower Extremity

Our objective was to develop and evaluate a non-invasive device for rigid immobilization and surface disease non-contact of the table in the lower extremity during CT angiography. The immobilization device consists of two components. The patient's lower limb device stabilizing elements made of polyethylene resin soft materials, and pelvis parts foam pad is used for non-contact surface. In a Prospective study the lower extremity device was used in patients who underwent a CT angiography of the lower limb. Immobilization with our device was well tolerated by all patients. The quality of the resulting images in the popliteal and infrapopliteal region was rated by five-point scale. The rigid immobilization resulted in a complete absence of motion artifacts. The new device is an effective, well tolerated and easily used immobilization that is suitable of use in 3D lower extremity CT angiography.
Flash Video Efficiency in Producing E-learning Contents

Due to the development of information telecommunication technology, e-learning industry is rapidly expanding its scope along with its production technology. The recent trend of e-learning program is likely converted from Wmv(Window Media Video) of Microsoft to Flv(Flash video), which has less capacity but better quality than other image file. It has successfully drawn the users attention since Flv can operate at most OS environments and browsers let alone with window and Lenux without extra players and codec setup. However, there is no accurate data on comparative analysis between Wmv and Flv regarding capacity, quality and production time. Therefore, the study shows the comparative data analysis on Wmv and Flv so as to set out production platform up to its idiosyncrasy.

Most of information and communication assistance machinery and tools for disorder people of Occupied are machinery and tools for a visual impairment person and software, The things which can apply to only a specification disorder type and a specification disorder part are most, A special keyboard or a special mouse device of the handicapped person that disorder rank is comparatively the hardness makes the mainstream. It is reported in diffusion rate being very low if I compare this with total disorder population. I study new 1 plan which it can be applied to various disorder types and disorder parts through an intelligent special input device in a study of a book and, I designed this at the real standard that I could manufacture and incarnated it. In addition, I suggested this in a base for a design of a universal supporting input device and suggestion for the side of incarnation plan and a future study direction.
HU Threshold Value for IV Catheter Fragment in Peripheral Vein of Volume Rendering 3D MDCT Imaging

To evaluate the HU value of the IV catheter fragment of CT on the accuracy and size in the peripheral vein. Pilot study of profile and table functions on PC by software was calculated of HU value of IV catheter fragment. This study demonstrates the utility of volume rendering technique to localize a small, subtle IV catheter, which can easily be reformatted of MDCT reformations. IV catheter fragment optimal image described as threshold range. Volume rendering of HU using a MDCT is an excellent method for evaluation the IV catheter fragment in three dimension.
Analysis Effects for Cyber Group Consultation Using Video Based System

In this paper, we carry out a cyber group consultation by means of the video-based education system, and verify the effects. For the verification of this study, two assumptions were set up. These assumptions were inspected by selecting 45 students of D elementary school located in a big city, and coming up with a test utilizing one of video-based education systems. Following up, a self-respect test form and a questionnaire were made to verify of the group consultation to the video-based education system, and by analyzing the test form and the questionnaire, the conclusion of this study was finally drawn. The conclusion gained through the process adove is as follows: It turned out that real-time video-based cyber group consultation promoted self-respect and enthusiastic participation of consulters as well as formed emotinal stability and a close affinity between the consultant and the consulter through active interaction. The results of this video-based education system operation will be helpful to broaden the area of elementary school cyber group consultation. Further, it is thought that it will contribute to the basic investigation to verify the educational effects of Multi-point imaging system in the run-up to the operation of full-scale real-time video-based education systems.
Web Accessibility Evaluation of Cyber Universities' Contents in Korea

This paper analyzes if the rapidly increasing cyber universities' remote education provides services based on web accessibility standard and suggest the direction to reduce information difference between people. It selected 10 cyber universities recognized by the government and analyzed the application situation of the web accessibility using' A-Prompt', an evaluation and analysis tool for web accessibility focusing on factors that can be evaluated technically. It also compared it with
cyber universities remote education web accessibility result
performed in 2006 to confirm if the accessibility is improved according to 'web contents accessibility instruction (KWCAG) 1.0. The result shows that the items such as the use of text and the support of supplementary explanation tool have improved. But it was analyzed that it is difficult for people to use web contents provided by domestic cyber universities. So the educational contents' accessibility application must be considered to solve such problems and publicize the remote education.

The purpose of this paper was to architecture optimal model of the scooped swing in high bar. The scooped swing was modeled to the double pendulum and was simulated with the Lagrange's equation of motion. Lagrange's method based on a energy approaching method was implemented as a equation of motion. The subject was a national man-gymnast(age 18yrs, height 153 cut mass 48 kg) and the high bar of SPIETH company was used to measure the scooped swing. Qualisys system(six MCU-240 cameras, QTM software)was used to capture data for imaging analysis. The solution of a model and data processing were solved in Mathematica5.0. The results were as follows: First model value of maximum bar displacement was longer than experimental value, that is, 0.02 m. Second, both angular pattern of segment1(HAT) had a increasing curve but curve patterns had a different concave and convex me. Third the experimental value of maximum angular angle of segment2(total leg) had larger than model value, that is,
. Conclusively, model parameters were quasi-optimized to obtain a quasi-match between simulated and actual performances. It hopes to simulate a human model by means of integrating musculoskeletal and neuromuscular system in the future study.

This article addresses considerations, processes of drawing concepts and design approaches in compiling a corporate brochure set in the practice of editorial design. A well-made brochure does not simply refer to listings of the current state of a company and a fantastic visualization of their visions. It necessarily involves the utilization of strategic core keywords appropriate to the industry, proper and classy metaphors that fit the target, a certain harmony between direct and indirect narratives, and bringing all of these aspects under the hat of creative and purposeful design in a single brochure. Thus, it also calls for variety and changes to captivate the eye when leafing through brochures. 1. Does the brochure reflect accurate diagnoses on the position of the market environment, the industry and their needs? 2. Does it offer solutions to given tasks, does it claim to be able to solve problems a company may have, does it satisfy their expectations, and does it cover the topics in an in-depth manner? 3. Referring to questions 1 & 2, does it address existing cases of competitors, leading players and global trends? 4. Does it have an appropriate design language that can communicate intrinsic issues and global trends as well as appropriate rhetorical visual aids that stand out?
Color Application on Sign System Typography for Dynamic Expression

Typography is the combination of language of formative art. It is indeed the core means of human communication through understanding of language and formative values. Studies began on introduction of various techniques to overcome the phenomenon of the 'reaction of language', which appears as an impediment in delivery and sharing of information as the most fundamental roles. Successively, mobile printing types more readable and effective in delivering of meanings have been developed, thus widely distributed for general use. However, although such printing types might be easily used in image and digital media, such as in computer monitors, screens and mobile phone LCDs, etc., it is in fact difficult to use these printing types in printed surfaces, the traditional medium of information delivery, or in sign systems frequently encountered in our surrounding environment. As a solution for this, it is intended to create an effect of communication closer to dynamic typography expression by approaching visual message delivery system from the essence and substance of the color application, which corresponds to the visual spatial expression effect, the core element of expression in dynamic typography to possess significantly more powerful effect in terms of both message delivery capacity and readability than the conventional means of static typography.
Perceptual Effect of Package Design According to Consumers' Purchase Behavior

The visual activity comes first in the commodities marketing, which emphasizes the importance of the external appearance of package. Package expresses all the visual characters including colors, logos, phrases, and specific features and other design qualities. Package gives the first impression of these features strongly to the viewers. I surveyed and analyzed the objective factors of visual phenomena in seeing and recognizing goods. Especially I tried to deal with the theoretical background and purchase behavior of consumers. I also tried to find out what the first and largest stimuli are when consumers buy goods. In addition to this, I analyzed the priority order of those elements to give reference to others who would design package.
