Quantity of encrypted data that transmitted through the network are increasing by development of encipherment technology. We have many problems; it is caused by technical development and service increase of user requests. It is necessary that create a many encryption key in one web application system. As a result, service quality comes to be low because of increased network traffic and system overload. There must be a system. That should be improved in secure service quality to process data. This paper describes a new approach for design and implementation of distributed encryption key processing for web application system. In this paper, it is based on distributed encipherment key, for the purpose of confidentially, integrity and authentication. It can prevent system degradation from server's data bottleneck and can improve service quality. For distributed encipherment system, we use java object activation technology. It can service while some distributed server are fail.

In Computer Graphics, fluid dynamics is used for animating and expressing the various special effects of water. As the hardware performance is getting higher, the several algorithms for fluid dynamics become to be executed in real time. However, it still requires a lot of computational time to get the realistic and detailed results. Therefore, there are many researches on the techniques of balancing between performance and quality. It must give priority to the executive performance preserving the visual reality even though sacrificing the physical reality, specially in applications with the game context which need to express the interaction between 3D objects and the surface of the water such as the sea or a lake. In this paper, we propose a method for the realtime animation of interactions between 3D objects and the surface of the water using the linear convolution of height fields and the bounding spheres of object.

DOI : 10.5392/JKCA.2008.8.4.039
This paper describes the life GIS(Geographic Information System) system that enables users to look up the final destination on a map automatically by setting up a random radius of threshold under the present user position. Various information systems based on the existing GIS have disadvantage that a search is difficult when the destination location is not clear. And it is inefficient that the processing time is delay due to a complex configuration and large amount of informations based on the target of special business supports. Therefore, this paper improves these problems and proposes the customized life GIS which is for the general user in the Flash(Action Script) environment. The customized life GIS confirms the detail items from search results, which is destinations fitting for a condition in the suitable radius of threshold from the present user position. And the user can look up the suitable final destination on a map easily using the customized information system. The result of this paper, which is based on the sample of the large unit locations, will be expected to be able to guide more detail, extensive and various informations.

Lee, Sang-Don ;
The Journal of the Korea Contents Association, volume 8, issue 4, 2008, Pages 48~54
DOI : 10.5392/JKCA.2008.8.4.048
This paper analyzes cost tradeoffs between memory usage and computation for window-based operators in data stream environments. It identifies generic operator network constructs, and sets up a cost model for the estimation of the expected memory reduction and the computation overheads when window memory relocations are applied to each operator network construct. This cost model helps to identify the utility of window memory relocations. It also helps to apply window memory relocation to improve a query execution plan to save memory usage. The proposed approach contributes to expand the scope of query processing and optimization in data stream environments. It also provides a basis to develop a cost estimation model for the query optimization using window memory relocations.

This paper presents a method of PRI do-interleaving for LASER pulse signals. When the PRI of LASER pulse is periodically changed, the first deviation and the second deviation of TOA is used to calculate the PRI pattern of input LASER signals of receiver. If the standard deviation of the first difference of TOA is less than 5% of the average of the first difference of TOA, the PRI pattern of LASER signal is fixed or jittered type. If the standard deviation is larger than 5% of the average, those are triangular PRI patterns or sawtooth PRI patterns.

DOI : 10.5392/JKCA.2008.8.4.071
We propose the scheme that supports continuously service when a user tries to contact new target network in broadband convergence network even though the network resource for the service is not enough. The proposed scheme transforms original service capacity into suitable QoS for the target network using the scalable service techniques in the oncoding/decoding and supports handover for the user. We analyzed the handover blocking probability of two schemes using queueing system to show the improvement of performance by the proposed scheme. Subsequently, we showed that the handover blocking probability in the proposed scheme is lower than that in the existing scheme.

DOI : 10.5392/JKCA.2008.8.4.079
These days, orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) transmission method is widely used for broadband communication systems. The OFDM, which uses sine waves as orthogonal basis functions, is one of the orthogonal waveform modulation techniques. In this paper, we investigate a wavelet packet modulation method which uses wavelet packets instead of sine waves as the basis functions. The wavelet packets may have different patterns in two dimensional time-frequency domain, and we can design the packets appropriate for the channel environments with much flexibility. In this paper, we investigate the characteristics of the wavelet packet modulation as one of the multicarrier modulation methods, And we illustrate by simulations that narrowband interference can be reduced effectively by control the bandwidth of the wavelet packets.

Most of existing Ceramic bottle has a problem because of the entrance facing the upper, and then having the entrance exposed in the outside. This study has made up for this problem and manufactured a bottle having dual structure. This bottle contains the contents being poured, has the containing part having the entrance in the lower part, multiple connecting passage hole connected with the water containing part in the upper, and the storage part, keeping contents, located in the circumference of the water containing part. The tail end of the entrance of the water containing part is located more upper than the lower part of a storage part, being at the bottom. This bottle has a dual structure of which the entrance faces the lower part. So, because of checking a foreign substance to be inflowed, restraining the diffusion of an alcohol ingredient, it is possible to have the custody of products, having alcohol element, and other contents for a long time. And then, the water containing part, through the connecting hole, always can pour the contents of a certain level in a cup or bowl. Accordingly, the purpose of this study is to make a convenient, a practicable bottle with having settled problems of customary know-how explained previously.

This analysis is intended to approach a computer game in the context of cultural-study theories. The semiotics can be applied to various area, and it is assumed to also applied to computer games. In semiotical background we tried to analyze the mythology of Starcraft mainly by using Propp's narratives theory and Brathes' mythologies theory. In the narratives of Starcraft, we fouind some simplified functions which penetrate the internal structure. And while most of the games having paradigmatic flow in narratives, Starcraft has syntagmatic flow mainly because of the function of network. With these conditions, we could find some mythologies in Starcraft : (1) naturalization of discipline and control, (2) time and space as resources, (3) deprivation of values of object.

DOI : 10.5392/JKCA.2008.8.4.183
This research will mainly focus on security issues in a university campus and delve into the risk factors and its characteristics due to the extreme polarization growth, and ultimately conduct research on legislative issues regarding safety & security management. A university campus is a miniature of the society, concentrated with human resources, material resources and knowledge information resources. It is also a region in which various underlying risk factors threaten these resources. However, due to the insensibility of danger and carefree indolence, these risk factors have been ignoring, leaving university campus amidst a "dead zone." Currently, a systematic and synthetic measures not only for safety inside the laboratory but also for the new type of crimes such as cyber crimes and motiveless crime due to extreme polarization, stress, uneasiness about the future, increase of mental illnesses, and drug abuse are urgently required. Therefore, I would like to introduce a legislative program in a crisis management perspective that can prevent universities from danger and protect the resources which would ultimately create a new security system.

In ubiquitous geographic information environment, the users are provided with geographic information anywhere and any time on their needs by any types of devices and communication media. The unique location ID, ePosition, is a new technology to support UBGI environment, using a logical location ID instead of physical location of a point of interest. Domain names of plural ePosition servers, where location information with its ePosition is stored, needs to be registered in DNS for some service through Internet. For better ePosition service of the type of public service like email service, a set of DNS resource records can be newly defined. This paper suggests a new DNS resource record EPO for implementation of the ePosition service through Internet.

DOI : 10.5392/JKCA.2008.8.4.273
Movements are a critical ability to young children's whole development, including physical, social/emotional, and cognitive development. This paper proposes the method to estimate movements suitable for young children's body conditions. The proposed method extracts a silhouette in each frame of videos that are obtained by deploying two video cameras by compensating illuminations, removing background and conducting morphology operations. And we extract silhouette feature values: an area, the ratio of length to width, the lowest foot position, and 7 Hu moments. Also, the area and movements of sub-area are used as local features. For motion estimation, we used probability propagation of the features extracted from the front and side frames. The proposed estimation algorithm is demonstrated for seven movements, walking, jumping, hopping, bending, stretching, balancing, and turning.

Internet addiction is currently regarded as a problem for its negative function in the information-oriented society. Particularly in cases of elementary schoolchildren in their growth period, it is very important to grasp the schoolchildren's conditions in advance and guide them on a systematic basis before they get into the habit of addiction to the Internet. For this purpose, several research papers have already discussed the seriousness of Internet addiction. This research is aimed at conducting a positive research work on to what extent such academic research results had affected educational fields, and also at what level the seriousness of Internet addiction is staying at the present moment. For this, this research conducted a survey of the Internet addiction level for fourth, fifth, and sixth graders totalling in 448 from one elementary school located within the jurisdiction of Gyeongsangbuk-do through the on-line system and questionnaires from March 31 to April 3, 2008. And also looked into the level of perception on Internet addiction for 29 teachers within the surveyed school. The results of this study show that 90.1 percent(408 children) of the surveyed children were a member of a general user group. Such aspects are thought to have resulted from some factors that functioned in a positive way, such as teachers' proper perception on Internet addiction and their proper guidance against this, and plenty of conversation at the children's homes, and the children's smooth relationship between their friends and teachers.
