In this paper, make a study decision problem called an optimal release policies after testing a software system in development phase and transfer it to the user. When correcting or modifying the software, because of the possibility of introducing new faults when correcting or modifying the software, infinite failure non-homogeneous Poisson process models presented and propose an optimal release policies of the life distribution applied fixed shape parameter distribution which can capture the increasing/decreasing nature of the failure occurrence rate per fault. In this paper, discuss optimal software release policies which minimize a total average software cost of development and maintenance under the constraint of satisfying a software reliability requirement. In a numerical example, after trend test applied and estimated the parameters using maximum likelihood estimation of inter-failure time data, make out estimating software optimal release time

This paper proposes the way of improving learning speed in Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm using the principal submatrix of Jacobian matrix. Design and Implementation of SADARI Game

This ladder rejection game is different from the existing game in terms of design, functions, and contents of the screen. This paper contains six specific explanations about the supplemented ladder rejection game. First, the design of this ladder rejection game extended fundamental principles of the existing game and added new diverse functions. Therefore, 12 people can play this game at the same time. Actually, the existing ladder game was designed for 10 people. Second, this supplemented ladder rejection game was designed after the existing game was analyzed. Third, the contents of the screen and the game which is embodied with object design of the whole screen were examined. Fourth, terminology and fundamental principles of this game was explained. Fifth, strong points of the game were listed. Sixth, the direction of the game development in the future was argued.
Color Analysis with Enhanced Fuzzy Inference Method

Widely used color information recognition methods based on the RGB color model with static fuzzy inference rules have limitations due to the model itself-the detachment of human vision and applicability of limited environment. In this paper, we propose a method that is based on HSI model with new inference process that resembles human vision recognition process. Also, a user can add, delete, update the inference rules in this system. In our method, we design membership intervals with sine, cosine function in H channel and with functions in trigonometric style in S and I channel. The membership degree is computed via interval merging process. Then, the inference rules are applied to the result in order to infer the color information. Our method is proven to be more intuitive and efficient compared with RGB model in experiment.
Development of a Portal System for Information Integration of Construction Business Processes

In this paper, we develop a construction business information portal system. Our portal system consists of two major parts including a institution portal and a public portal. The institution portal is for the people working at governmental agencies and the public one is for general users. This paper adopted Method/1 as the development methodology of the portal system and made the portal using Java-based web application framework. After the development of the portal. we tested it step by step to improve its quality and run Help-desk for the stable operation and maintenance. In the future, we will develop some additional contents required by users.
A Method for Text Detection and Enhancement using Spatio-Temporal Information

Text information in a digital video provides crucial information to acquire semantic information of the video. In the proposed method. text candidate regions are extracted from input sequence by using characteristics of stroke and text candidate regions are localized by using projection to produce text bounding boxes. Bounding boxes containing text regions are verified geometrically and each bounding box existing same location is tracked by calculating matching measure. which is defined as the mean of absolute difference between bounding boxes in the current frame and previous frames. Finally. text regions are enhanced using temporal redundancy of bounding boxes to produce final results. Experimental results for various videos show the validity of the proposed method.
Similar Movie Retrieval using Low Peak Feature and Image Color

In this paper. we propose search algorithm using Low Peak Feature of audio and image color value by which similar movies can be identified. Combing through entire video files for the purpose of recognizing and retrieving matching movies requires much time and memory space. Moreover, these methods still share a critical problem of erroneously recognizing as being different matching videos that have been altered only in resolution or converted merely with a different codec. Thus we present here a similar-video-retrieval method that relies on analysis of audio patterns, whose peak features are not greatly affected by changes in the resolution or codec used and image color values. which are used for similarity comparison. The method showed a 97.7% search success rate, given a set of 2,000 video files whose audio-bit-rate had been altered or were purposefully written in a different codec.
Routing Metric to Recognize Traffic Interference In Wireless Mesh Networks

This paper is intended to study how well the routing protocol supplied in wireless mesh networks can evade interference path along the applied routing metric. Wireless mesh networks, unlike existing network techniques, has the characteristics that node movement is less and energy effect is limited. Therefore. this type of network requires path configuring technique to reflect such network characteristics and new routing metric to determine proper path. Routing metric proposed recently is designed to produce link quality accurately, but it configures path not considering the traffic situation of adjacent nodes. Thus. this technique has the problems of reduced transfer rate and delay between terminals occurring due to frequent traffic chaos by the interference of adjacent nodes. Therefore, this paper proposes metric that configures routing path by finding like metric that can transfer data effectively by considering the traffic situation of adjacent nodes. We confirmed through simulation that the proposed routing metric reduces the delay between terminals via the path that evades the traffic interference of adjacent node.
Syntactic and Semantic Disambiguation for Interpretation of Numerals in the Information Retrieval

Natural language processing is necessary in order to efficiently perform filtering tremendous information produced in information retrieval of world wide web. This paper suggested an algorithm for meaning of numerals in the text. The algorithm for meaning of numerals utilized context-free grammars with the chart parsing technique, interpreted affixes connected with the numerals and was designed to disambiguate their meanings systematically supported by the n-gram based words. And the algorithm was designed to use POS (part-of-speech) taggers, to automatically recognize restriction conditions of trigram words, and to gradually disambiguate the meaning of the numerals. This research performed experiment for the suggested system of the numeral interpretation. The result showed that the frequency-proportional method recognized the numerals with 86.3% accuracy and the condition-proportional method with 82.8% accuracy.

User-Information based Adaptive Service Management Algorithm

Many studies and policies are suggested for customer satisfaction to survive in multimedia content service markets. there are policies like a segregating the clients using the contents service and allocating the media server's resources distinctively by clusters using the cluster analysis method of CRM. The problem of this policy is fixed allocation of media server resources. It is inefficient for costly media server resource. To resolve the problem and enhance the utilization of media server resource, the ACRFA (Adaptive Client Request Filtering Algorithm) was suggested per cluster to allocate media server resources by flexible resource allocation method.
Development a Distributed Power Information System Based on Event using XML

In the future energy environment, a power information system will meet the real-time capability to process the emergency events, unexpected blackouts or over-load, and the high performance to provide the consumer service events such as remote meter reading. In addition to, it must have facility which is able to process a large information occurred on system effectively. In this paper, we developed a distributed power information system based on event with metadata processing technique which was both load balancing and decreased hot spot using XML that was efficient for information exchange. In order to experiment, we made a reduced future power system with controling power device using wireless communications and we could do experiments through it.
A Development of an Adviser Tool for the ABEEK Accredited Program using Curriculum Flowchart

ABEEK, an independent non-governmental organization, is the recognized accreditor for the educational programs in engineering and related disciplines. ABEEK has developed the standard accreditation criteria to meet diverse needs of the engineering and related communities in Korea. A student attending at the accredited program has to complete the required courses and elective courses according to the curriculum flowchart to meet the accreditation criteria for a bachelor. Therefore an efficient and effective tool is necessary to support the adviser to monitor the completion of the required courses and elective courses according to the curriculum flowchart. In this paper, we describe an adviser tool developed. To develop an adviser tool. we established databases which contain the information of courses and their relations according to the curriculum flowchart. Adviser tool was developed to analyze student's DegreeAudit and represent the current completion information on the curriculum flowchart for effective monitoring. A closed test was performed and showed the increase of efficiency to meet the accreditation criteria for a bachelor.
A study on the Construction of the System Integration Management System for Civil Affairs

To establish efficient e-government and to improve the quality of public services, online public services are in operation in every administrative organization. However, due to the lack of analysis and connection between each government organization, the satisfaction of the civil users has not been improved very much. This research presents the core components of Integrated Management Model for Public Services, which can minimize the time for processing public services and the expenses for administrative procedure, based on the example of N Ministry. For this purpose, it analyzes current process of the public services to find out underlying problems, deduces requirements for improvement, presents and implements the design principles of Integrated Management System for Public Services. The efficiency of this Integrated Management System was proven with the analysis from the viewpoints of civil users, internal service representatives, and their managers.
Integrated Management System of Seismic Observatory Information based on XML

In this paper, an integrated management system of seismic observatory information based on XML is proposed. The number of organizations which have their own seismic stations eg. KMA, KIGAM etc is increasing since 1998. Related informations such as location, installed instruments. and operational profile are essential for efficient utilization of seismic data. It's not easy to provide the uniform type of information and has limitation to announce the updated information of station rapidly through individual information management system of each organization. In this paper, we propose an integrated management system of seismic observatory information which can support to manage information of their own seismic observatory by a person in charge via Web, to integrate that in nation-wide and to provide that for users. We investigated minimum information of observatory were needed to use seismic data and the analysis result was structured by using XML. The integrated management system consists of the observatory management module. information search module, and the latest information supply module etc. By using proposed system, seismic observatory information of each organization can be managed and be supplied efficiently in nation-wide.
A Integrated VOC Management Schema in Large-Scale Manufacturing Companies: A Case Study on Implementation for Construction Equipment Division in 'H' Heavy Industry

Voice of the customer(VOC) is a term used in business and information technology(IT) to describe the process of capturing a customer's requirements in enterprises or various organizations. Recently, in order to satisfy customer's needs, enterprises try to utilize VOC at recurrence prevention of problems and their improvement activities, planning and development of product/service by processing, storing, and analyzing VOC. Until now, VOC management systems are introduced around service industries such as hotel business and insurance/financial business, etc. This paper proposes an integrated management scheme of VOC which are captured by various communication channels and describes a case of implementing an integrated VOC management system on the basis of the proposed scheme for the large-scale manufacturing company. By the implemented system, VOC are stored and utilized as the important knowledge assets of enterprises.
The Effects of the Revision of Intellectual Property Rights-relevant Laws based on the FTA between the Republic of Korea and the United States

On July 23th, 2009, the newly-revised copyright law was reflected the free trade agreement which occurred between the United States and the Republic of Korea. The agreement is expected to have positive effects such as competition as well as the social efficiency in the field of intellectual property. Nevertheless, Korean government should pay much costs, Therefore, we should minimize the cost in a short run and maximize the benefits we could obtain out of the agreement in a long run. However, we are not prepared to improve economic value of the intellectual property rights. Specifically, it should be noted that the aspects of law execution to protect not only the intellectual property rights. If we manage to get the utmost out of the agreement, we could be going through the transition from a consumer nation of intellectual properties to a producer nation.
A Case Study of the CR based e-Marketplace Implementation in Nuclear Parts Company

Manufacturer's competitiveness in the MRO industry, which is to stimulate the growth of the business-to-business e-commerce market, has recently become more important. A nuclear parts manufacturer was supplying products based on irregular demand from clients which differs from ordinary MRO business practices. The reason for this is the Nuclear Parts Manufacturer has fallen behind the e-commerce performance of other industries, and they lack global competitiveness due to the low efficiency of the individual companies within it. In this study, we developed an MRO based a-Marketplace system to minimize repetitive ordering of raw materials, lack of reusability and inefficiency of transaction processing which was a result of the former legacy business practice, In order to accomplish the purpose of this study, we implemented a web based automated CR system which considered the characteristics of the nuclear parts manufacturing: the system has sub modules such as ordering, product management, transaction management, warehousing and raw material handling. As a consequence of the system implementation, H corporate successfully automated ordering of raw materials, quotation processing and inventory management compared to the legacy business process, achieving increased efficiency by reducing wasteful resources.
A Study on satisfaction of year-end-settlement for employee

This study focuses on how the recognition of year-end-settlement affected on the effectiveness of individual tax return according to the tax law and its influence on the participation of employee. After the careful analysis, the founding of the satisfaction level of workers from the annual tax return can be summarized as follows: When the knowledge of year-end-settlement is high, it influences positively on the effectiveness of tax return for workers. The recognition of tax return system is the main ingredient to increase the participation of the tax return. Although the recognition of year-end-settlement did not affect on the satisfaction of workers directly, effectiveness of tax deduction and the participation in the year-end-settlement are closely linked to the satisfaction level of tax return, It is confirmed that when the recognition of year-end-settlement is high. the more people actively participate in year-end-settlement and it contribute to the positive effect on the satisfaction level of employee, As a result, it is very important to find the ways to promote and educate annual tax return system to workers as well as revise the tax law to maximize the year-end-settlement for employee.
