Analysis on the Power Efficiency of Smartphone According to Parameters

Smartphone enables diverse applications to be used in mobile environments. In spite of the high performance of smartphones, battery life has become one of the major constraints in mobility. Therefore, power efficiency of the smartphone is one of the most important factors in determining the efficiency of the smartphone. In this paper, in order to analyze the power efficiency of the smartphone, we have various experiments according to several configuration parameters such as processor, display and OS. We also use diverse applications. As a result, power consumption is dependent on the processor complexity and display size. However, power consumption shows the unpredictable pattern according to the OS. Smartphone using android OS consumes high power when internet and image processing applications are executed, but It consumes low power when music and camera applications are executed. In contrary, smartphone based on iOS consumes high power when game and internet applications are executed but it consumes low power when camera and processing applications are executed. In general, smartphone using iOS is more power efficient than smartphone based on android OS, because smartphone using iOS is optimized in the perspective of the hardware and OS.
Implementation of Embedded Educational Router System

This paper presents the design of the educational router system. This system is designed and implemented to support network configuration and embedded programming technology of the user on Internet. Not only Static routing protocol but also a kind of dynamic routing protocols such as OSPF and RIP and firewall have been programmed for education based on ethernet interface. ADS 1.2 as debugging environment, uC/OS-ii as RTOS and C language as development language are used. The educational procedures is compile, loading of static routing protocol, a kind of dynamic routing protocols such as OSPF and RIP and firewall program already supplied. Thereafter the verification is checked by using "ping" test to allow for demo operation such as hands-on training procedure. Finally programming procedure similar with demo operation of static routing protocol, a kind of dynamic routing protocols such as OSPF and RIP and packet filtering function is educated step by step.
Fuzzy Stretching Method of Color Image

TIn this paper, we propose a novel fuzzy stretching method that adopts a triangle type fuzzy membership function to control the highest and lowest brightness limit dynamically. As an essential procedure to enhance the brightness contrast, stretching is an important procedure in color image processing. While popular Ends-in Search stretching method should be provided fixed minimum and maximum brightness threshold from experience, our proposed method determines them dynamically by fuzzy membership functions. The minimum and maximum limit is determined by computing the lowest and highest pixel value according to the membership degree of our designed triangle type membership function. The experiment shows that the proposed method result in far less skewed histogram than those of Ends-in Search stretching thus successfully verifies its effectiveness.
Implementation of a Prototype of Remote Contents Management System using Web Services

One of the most typical examples of convergence is IPTV, a convergence of broadcast and telecommunication. Demand for IPTV has been increased so rapidly that a new TV set, called a smart TV, has appeared. One of the most important factors for IPTV business success is content. If an IPTV station provides popular content and subscribers can conveniently watch it then the station has a good chance of success. Therefore, the content management module is extremely important component of IPTV systems. In the current IPTV systems, operators must be present at the office to access a Content Management System(CMS). We implement a web CMS so that the operators can access the CMS anytime and anywhere as long as they are connected to Internet.
Shot Boundary Detection Algorithm by Compensating Pixel Brightness and Object Movement

Shot boundary detection is an essential step for efficient browsing, sorting, and classification of video data. Robust shot detection method should overcome the disturbances caused by pixel brightness and object movement between frames. In this paper, two shot boundary detection methods are presented to address these problem by using segmentation, object movement, and pixel brightness. The first method is based on the histogram that reflects object movements and the morphological dilation operation that considers pixel brightness. The second method uses the pixel brightness information of segmented and whole blocks between frames. Experiments on digitized video data of National Archive of Korea show that the proposed methods outperforms the existing pixel-based and histogram-based methods.
Designing emotional model and Ontology based on Korean to support extended search of digital music content

In recent years, a large amount of music content is distributed in the Internet environment. In order to retrieve the music content effectively that user want, various studies have been carried out. Especially, it is also actively developing music recommendation system combining emotion model with MIR(Music Information Retrieval) studies. However, in these studies, there are several drawbacks. First, structure of emotion model that was used is simple. Second, because the emotion model has not designed for Korean language, there is limit to process the semantic of emotional words expressed with Korean. In this paper, through extending the existing emotion model, we propose a new emotion model KOREM(KORean Emotional Model) based on Korean. And also, we design and implement ontology using emotion model proposed. Through them, sorting, storage and retrieval of music content described with various emotional expression are available.
The Implementation of Visualization Tool for Snowboard Using Kinect Sensor Data

This paper proposed visualization tool for motion of snowboarding using Skeleton data obtained by the Microsoft's Kinect sensor. The BBP(Balanced Body Position) posture is a most basic motion in the Snowboarding. This posture is the primary technology for stable turns. The implementation of visualization tool to analyse the BBP posture of snowboard. comparative analysis with standard postures to the ankles, knees, hips and spine angle of joints and body tracking using coordinate information obtained by the Kinect Sensor. Analysis of the final results of the screen through the OpenGL library. This research result could be used to analysis for turn postures of snowboarding.
A Scheme of Database Design and Management in School-zone System

In this paper, we propose a scheme of database management to administer gathered data in schoolzone system. By using image sensor and GPS sensor gathered image and coordination information is transferred to the system server through the networks that it is managed by the database to analyze the situation recognition. Schoolzone system implements the analysis of specific scenario to gathered data of database so that its results and corresponding implementation is reported to monitoring server and their results have been stored.
A Study on the Malware Realtime Analysis Systems Using the Finite Automata

In the recent years, cyber attacks by malicious codes called malware has become a social problem. With the explosive appearance and increase of new malware, innumerable disasters caused by metaphoric malware using the existing malicious codes have been reported. To secure more effective detection of malicious codes, in other words, to make a more accurate judgment as to whether suspicious files are malicious or not, this study introduces the malware analysis system, which is based on a profiling technique using the Finite Automata. This new analysis system enables realtime automatic detection of malware with its optimized partial execution method. In this paper, the functions used within a file are expressed by finite automata to find their correlation, and a realtime malware analysis system enabling us to give an immediate judgment as to whether a file is contaminated by malware is suggested.
The Maintenance Cost Estimation Model for Information System Maintenance Based on the Operation, Management and Service Metrics

In this paper, we present the cost measurement metrics for the operation management and service improvement besides the general maintenance. The cost measurement metrics of the operation management and service improvement are based on the metrics that are classified and summarized precedent studies and complemented by empirical measuring indicators, and we propose the maintenance cost estimation model based on this metrics. The maintenance costs can be calculated detailedly, because the proposed metrics can be used selectively, depending on the scope of the information system maintenance. The effectiveness of the proposed maintenance cost measurement metrics and cost estimation model is verified by comparison between existing studies and our research.
The Ear Acupressure Therapy on Premenstrual Syndrome and Dysmenorrhea on Female college Students

The purpose of this study is to identify the effect of ear acupressure therapy on premenstrual syndrome of the female college students. This research design of our study was a quasi-experimental design. Out of the 27 female college students, 13 were assigned to the experimental group and 14 to the control group. The data was obtained over 3 months from K college located in G city. The use of instrument to assess the premenstrual syndrome is Keele's VAS(Visual Analogue Scale) with the opening records. The subject of the experimental group received the ear acupressure therapy for 3 times for 60 days and the other control group did not get the ear acupressure therapy treatment. We analysed the data and extracted the values of percentage, mean, standard deviation,
-test, t-test, and Cronbach's
using SPSS program. The VAS score of the premenstrual syndromes before the ear acupressure therapy was 7.3(experimental group), 7.46(control group) but after the ear acupressure therapy, the VAS score of the premenstrual syndromes was 3.36(experimental group), 7.17(control group). The result of this study reveals that the ear acupressure therapy was effective in improving the symptoms of the female college students who had the premenstrual syndromes.
A Study on layout algorithm for metabolic pathway visualization

In metabolomics, metabolic pathway is represented by well-displayed graph. Metabolic pathways, especially, have a complex binding structure, which makes the graphical representation hard to visualize. There is a problem that edge crossings exponentially increase as the number of nodes grows. To apply automatic graph layout techniques to the genome-scale metabolic flow of metabolism domains, it is very important to reduce unnecessary edge crossing on a metabolic pathway layout. we proposed a metabolic pathway layout algorithm based on 2-layer layout. Our algorithm searches any meaningful component existing in a pathway, such as circular components, highly connected nodes, and the components are drawn in upper layer. Then the remaining subgraphs except meaningful components are drawn in lower layer by utilizing a new radial layout algorithm. It reduces ultimately reduced the number of edge crossings. This algorithm is the basis of flexible analysis for metabolic pathways.
A Design of Internet-Based Safety Guarantee Global Integrated Logistics Management System Framework

This paper provide a framework for an IGILMS(internet-based global integrated logistics management system) which can access and mediate cargo transportations among small- and medium-sized domestic/international logistics corporations as regards cargo, registration and search for space, public tender and negotiation, contract, payment and safety-guarantee, transportation through the internet, wireless communication means, or smart phone etc. In addition, we describe a model to provide customized services in the B2B e-market for IGILMS and the structure and the control of its fulfillment process, and provide technical architecture of the IGILMS for an internet-based global logistics management system. To validate an efficiency of the proposed system, we develop a simulation model and analyze the performance of the proposed system.

The Impact of Travel Agency's Website Quality on Customer Satisfaction and Repurchase Intention

The Internet website has become an effective marketing vehicle for travel agencies. The objective of this study is to examine theoretical relationships between travel agency's website quality, customer satisfaction, and repurchase intention. Usable data was obtained from the 373 respondents using travel agency's website within one year. Hypotheses are tested using structural equation modeling. The results indicate that travel agency's website quality has an effect on customer satisfaction as well as repurchase intention. The impact of information quality on customer satisfaction and repurchase intention is the most important factor, followed by service quality and design quality among the factors of the quality of a travel agency's website.

The objective of this study is to contribute effective operation of traffic information center by traffic information data measure process which are now being serviced by frame work of traffic information and by providing traffic information assessment criteria which reliable traffic information throughout traffic information quality characteristics in intelligent transport system. For the objectives, we analyzed the information attribute of ontology technique for quality management of traffic information in system engineering database research area. Throughout the result of this study, SE database utilized the development of subsystems, the component and interface design for convenient and rapid information services, and diverse related reliable systems design and expected to be indicated in systematic database.
A Study of the Probability of Prediction to Crime according to Time Status Change

Each field of modern society, industrialization and the development of science and technology are rapidly changing. However, as a side effect of rapid social change has caused various problems. Crime of the side effects of rapid social change is a big problem. In this paper, a model for predicting crime and Markov chains applied to the crime, predictive modeling is proposed. Markov chain modeling of the existing one with the overall status of the case determined the probability of predicting the future, but this paper predict the events to increase the probability of occurrence probability of the prediction and the recent state of the entire state was divided by the probability of the prediction. And the whole state and the probability of the prediction and the recent state by applying the average of the prediction probability and the probability of the prediction model were implemented. Data was applied to the incidence of crime. As a result, the entire state applies only when the probability of the prediction than the entire state and the last state is calculated by dividing the probability value. And that means when applied to predict the probability, close to the crime was concluded that prediction.
An Empirical Study on the Effect of Korean Wave on the Brand Loyalty of Korean Products in Chinese Market

The mid-20th century witnessed a wide spread of Korean culture in Japan, China and Southeast Asia and China now has become the biggest trade partner and export market, as well as the No. 1 source of import and the biggest investment country of Korea. With the spreading of the Korean popular culture in China, brand loyalty to Korean products is improved. Taking the Chinese market as the basis, this research aims to make an analysis of the implications of 'Korean Wave', Korean advertisements and the image of Korea on brand loyalty to cosmetics made in Korea. To achieve the research aim, questionnaires were used in conducting the survey, mainly in Beijing. Excluding the invalid ones, altogether 180 questionnaires were collected, based on which an empirical analysis was carried out on the correlation between 'Korean Wave', effects of Korean advertisements, image of Korea, brand recognition, and brand loyalty to products made in Korea. The major analyzing tools are SPSS 20.0 and AMOS 20.0. The findings are as follows: 1. Korean films, dramas, and attachment for Korean movie stars (representative of 'Korean Wave') all have a positive influence on brand loyalty. Recognition of the country image of Korea, to some extent, also has positive implications on brand recognition. 2. Empirical analysis assists in the testing of the degree of recognition and attachment of cosmetics made in Korea, as well as brand loyalty to them.
