A Study on Automated Extraction of Road in Color-Printed Maps

In this paper, it was Proposed to extract road area automatically in general road guide map. Line tracing proposed in 〔1〕 was used basic extraction method, but by choosing starting pixel automatically iterative user interaction could be removed in this paper. this was possible by classifying and analysis color of each road. The usefulness of the proposed method was proved through experiments with various color printed maps.
Image Calibration System Implementation using Third Transformation Model

In this paper a calibration method is proposed for calibrating distorted image from lens and various factors. The similar origin image can be generated by the proposed method that calculate a calibration coefficient by modeling third transformation between standard image and distorted image and then apply the coefficient to distorted image The coefficient is effective until camera position is changed or lens is exchanged. This research consists of processes to calculate calibration coefficient and to set similar real image by the coefficient. Proposed method especially is applied to a system to obtain a real image from a distorted image causing effects of special system environment and camera lens The advantage of this method is verified by experiment using distorted images from a CCD camera that will attach atomic pile.
A Study on Image Recognition using Enhanced ART1 Algorithm

As time goes on, that becomes an issue still more for truth from error of a seal in electronic settlement , or in important document in the field of image recognition. But on the other hand image treatment method of a seal have has the weakness until now. It makes indistinct distinction of part that light and darkness is changed sharply as the edge of things. So it has difficult that edge detection is extracted. In this paper, I investigated the pixel in a specific area by using enhanced smothing method and searched a value of frquent occurrence. The value of pixel is substituted and edge detection is extracted. After then it could be classified rightly according as viligence test is dynamically changed. I applied conventional of Yager's generated intersection operator among fuzzy logic operator in ART1 learning Algorithm. Application of suggested ART1 learning algorithm, it results in improved image recognition rate than a case of using the conventional ART1 algorithm
A Study of Development ODBC Driver for Multimedia Data Processing

The ODBC(Open Database Connectivity) is particularly efficient in the dynamic client/server environment. Besides, the ODBC provides the functions that can handle multimedia data. Due to this feature, we are able to use the DBMS that supports the ODBC as a multimedia server. In this thesis, we describe the development of the ODBC driver for Relational DBMS. The Relational DBMS ODBC Driver consists of the client module and the server module. The client module is called the SRM(Server Request Module) and the server module is CSM(Client Service Module). These two modules are connected through the network module called the NSM(Network Service Module). We have conducted both the functional and the interoperability test of our ODBC Driver It turned out that the ODBC driver operated with these client DBMS tools successfully. In all, due to our development of the Relational DBMS ODBC Driver, DBMS is now capable of processing multimedia data and supporting the client applications including the DBMS tools.
An Effective Data Exchange of Curves

Recently computer graphics and CAD systems of many kinds have been developed. and this trends will be more increased in the future because the application fields are diverse However, data exchange problems between these systems will be occurred as the system kinds increase. Standards for solving these problems are made by IGES and STEP. etc, Nevertheless, it is unsatisfactory now because data exchange between different systems is not running well with reliability and efficiency. Because vendors implement with different ways, data exchange of the curves and surfaces between different systems which are based in the geometric modeling system, does not satisfy. This paper is a research for curve conversion in the data exchange between different systems. Also this paper analyzed the transferring data which are effectively conversed the curves among the four different types of curves in the less important curve shape environment.

Structured Fuzzy Learning Model in ICAI

The learning order of teaching materials to be a learning data in CAI is arranged from an easy item to a difficult one A learning in not necessary to be learned arranged this order. Actually the learning is done by the rules of trial and error on the sequences of an arrangement among items. In this papers, the constructed is modelled by the fuzzy inference after leaning the understanding on items by the intelligent CAI through the rile of trial and error of fuzziness. Given the difference of leaning and understanding, the leaning model is quantified by the order relationship among items and by the rules of fuzzy inference. The rule of trial and error of learning is restricted to the treatment of CAL system minimizing the rules of inference.
Program Transformation and Design of Class Extraction Technique

Disease Region Feature Extraction of Medical Image using Wavelet

In this paper suggest for methods disease region feature extraction of medical image using wavelet. In the preprocessing, the shape informations of medical image are selected by performing the discrete wavelet transform(DWT) with four level coefficient matrix. In this approach, based on the characteristics of the coefficient matrix, 96 feature parameters are calculated as follows: Firstly. obtaining 32 feature parameters which have the characteristics of low frequency from the parameters according to the horizontal high frequency are calculated from the coefficient matrix of horizontal high frequency. In the third place, 16 vertical feature parameters are also calculated using the same kind of procedure with respect to the vertical high frequency. Finally, 32 feature parameters of diagonal high frequency are obtained from the coefficient matrix of diagonal high frequency. Consequently, 96 feature aprameters extracted. Using suggest algorithm in this paper will, implamentation can automatic recognition system, increasing efficiency of picture achieve communication system.
A Security and Authentification for ATM Network

This paper presents a security and authentification scheme against unauthorized disclose and attack in ATM(Asynchronous Transmission Method) with various service. Four various options to place security layer between the AAL and ATM layers is discussed. The suggested security and authentification can be integrated with the call setup procedures of ATM.
Progressive Wavelet Transform Coding for Image Communication

In this paper, we propose new image coding using wavelet transform. The new method constructs hierarchical bit plane and progressively transports each bit plane. The proposed algorithm not only supports multi-resolution, dividing original image into special band and various resolution but also reduces blocking effects that come into JPEG In encoding time, this algorithm considers each band characters and priority of transport order, and applies to fast search of image.
A Novel Fractal Coding Method for Image Communication

This Paper proposes a novel fractal image method for image communication to shorten time to take on fractal encoding by using limited search area method and scaling method First, the original image is contracted respectively by half and by quarter with the scaling method. And then, the corresponding domain block of the quarter-sized image which is most similar with one range block of the half-sized image is searched within the limited area in order to reduce the encoding time extremely As the result of the evaluation, the proposed algorithm provided much shorter encoding time and better compression ratio with a little degradation of the decoded image quality than Jacquin's method
Microstrip Filter by Means of Hi-Z Low-Z Having Short Length Transmission Lines

In this paper, filter designed and produced to use hi-Z low-Z filter which is easy to produce microstrip line and uses space less than used stub filter. This filter has very short electrical length of lines, that is Bl＜
/4, lowpass prototype series inductor replaced high impedance line section and shunt capacitance replaced low impedance line section. Replaced each section designed microstrip lines and effective permittivity of the given microstrip calculated and each section width and length calculated dna filter used design. Designed filter compared the theory value of touchstone with the experiment value of real produced filter and an analyzed response charictristic.
A Design and Implementation of Multiple ARP Server and Management Agent on IP/ATM Internetwork

However in typical IP-ATM standard, a ARP server exists independently at one LIS, this paper designs and implements a multiple ARP server allowing that a ARP server accommodates multiple LIS. A Study on Optmize Access Method in Personal Communication using to WTDL

In this paper, using diversity and convolution code in the DS/CDMA system, have been the performance analized. In this modulation shceme is using QPSK. Channel to CDMA system has been approximated by Rayleight fading channel considering effect for multi-path. In this assumed that receiver is WTDL(Wide-band Tappped Delay Line) receiver, and in this condition, average error probability of DS/CDMA.
A Study on Financial Stability Ratios in Small and Medium Size Business

A position of small and medium size business is increasing in the national economic. On the other hand, there are many difficulties in the small and medium size business. The most difficult problem is the financial supply for the small and medium size business. This study is analzing the financial stability ratios of the small and medium size business in comparision with financial ratios of a large enterprise and industrial average ratio. As the result, the degree of financial stability ratio of small and medium size business is lower than industrial standard ratio. While the degree of financial stability and liquidity ratios of the small and medium size business is higher than industry average ratio. the degree of dependence of borrowing of the small and medium size business is lower. Therefore, it is necessary for nation and administration organization to supply financing for the small and medium size business.
A Study on Trade Automation in Korea

Due to development of science and telecommunication with wide-spread computer supply, it could be done through computer automatically instead of manpower-work for paper transportation & paper approval. It is developed to so-called Factory Automation. Further, it is developed to Office Automation. Trading companies & concerned trade authorities are interested in Trade Automation that such technique is applied to trade work. Generally, Trade Automation means to realize paperless trade by exchanging electronic papers through inter-computers after concerned trade operators transformed various papers to electronic papers that computer could read. In case Trade Automation fix in the trade business, it is expected one of innovations among traditional paper work of trade business, namely without going import-export authorities, Customs office, Banks. Shipping companies, Marine insurance companies on hand-carrying papers, it could be fast, simple, correct to finish every trade procedures such as commercial business, foreign currency, customs clearance, transportations, insurance. terms of payment, etc., with Electronic Data Interchange through computer facilities. Especially, telecommunication for trade form could be helpful to proceed trade paper with one-run-method Further we can anticipate 6 effects for Trade Automation as belows : First, as explained just above articles, with completion for Trade Automation, every trade procedures can be done by computer. so, time to work can be diminished. namely. logistics cost including accessory costs for trade procedures can be saved much. Second, viewing to private enterprise, effect of Office Automation can be maximized and rapid, correct exchange for various trade informations could raise efficiency of enterprise management establishing rational production, storage, transportation and could raise competition improving standard for consumers's service. Third, establishing Trade Automation systems makes it easier piling-up of harbor cargo by pre-transmission of electronic paper & trade informations make it possible to finish customs clearance in advance and can be dispatched upon cargo arrival. Fourth, most of concerned trade authorities such as import-export approval office. financial authorities, transport & insurance companies concentrated in Metropolitan area(Seoul, In -Cheon, Kyung-Ki). Therefore, in case Trade Automation could be realized. it is possible to proceed trade business instantly in every country area by computer facilities. Also. it contribute well-balanced development for suburb. region area by suburb dispersion of trading companies. Fifth, on the way to Trade Automation establishment & its enlargement process. producing enormous demand for over-all telecommunication such as hardware. software. network makes opportunity to progress telecommunication industry & concerned industries. Finally. Trade Automation accelerate change of employment structure leading unnecessary labors on the industries of office & logistics to manufacturing area.
