PENALIZED APPROACH AND ANALYSIS OF AN OPTIMAL SHAPE CONTROL PROBLEM FOR THE STATIONARY NAVIER-STOKES EQUATIONS

This paper is concerned with an optimal shape control problem for the stationary Navier-Stokes system. A two-dimensional channel flow of an incompressible, viscous fluid is examined to determine the shape of a bump on a part of the boundary that minimizes the viscous drag. by introducing an artificial compressibility term to relax the incompressibility constraints, we take the penalty method. The existence of optima solutions for the penalized problem will be shown. Next, by employing Lagrange multipliers method and the material derivatives, we derive the shape gradient for the minimization problem of the shape functional which represents the viscous drag.
SOME LIMIT THEOREMS FOR POSITIVE RECURRENT AGE-DEPENDENT BRANCHING PROCESSES

In this paper we consider an age dependent branching process whose particles move according to a Markov process with continuous state space. The Markov process is assumed to the stationary with independent increments and positive recurrent. We find some sufficient conditions for he Markov motion process such that the empirical distribution of the positions converges to the limiting distribution of the motion process.

In this paper we introduce the modified conditional Yeh-Wiener integral. To do so, we first treat the modified Yeh-Wiener integral. And then we obtain the simple formula for the modified conditional Yeh-Wiener integral and valuate the modified conditional Yeh-Wiener integral for certain functional using the simple formula obtained. Here we consider the functional using the simple formula obtained. Here we consider the functional on a set of continuous functions which are defined on various regions, for example, triangular, parabolic and circular regions.
CONDITIONAL FOURIER-FEYNMAN TRANSFORMS AND CONDITIONAL CONVOLUTION PRODUCTS

In this paper we define the concept of a conditional Fourier-Feynman transform and a conditional convolution product and obtain several interesting relationships between them. In particular we show that the conditional transform of the conditional convolution product is the product of conditional transforms, and that the conditional convolution product of conditional transforms is the conditional transform of the product of the functionals.
DECOMPOSITION OF SOME CENTRAL SEPARABLE ALGEBRAS

If an Azumaya algebra A is a homomorphic image of a finite group ring RG where G is a direct product of subgroups then A can be decomposed into subalgebras A(sub)i which are homomorphic images of subgroup rings of RG. This result is extended to projective Schur algebras, and in this case behaviors of 2-cocycles will play major role. Moreover considering the situation that A is represented by Azumaya group ring RG, we study relationships between the representing groups for A and A(sub)i.

We prove that the germ of a CR mapping f between real analytic real hypersurfaces has a holomorphic extension and satisfies a complete system of finite order if the source is of finite type in the sense of Bloom-Graham and the target is k-nondegenerate under certain generic assumptions on f.

Let M(sup)n be a space-ike submanifold in a de Sitter space M(sub)p(sup)n+p (c) with constant scalar curvature. We firstly extend Cheng-Yau's Technique to higher codimensional cases. Then we study the rigidity problem for M(sup)n with parallel normalized mean curvature vector field.

We examine Orlicz-type integral inequalities for operators and obtain as a corollary a characterization of such inequalities for the Hardy-Littlewood maximal operator extending the well-known L(sup)p-norm inequalities.
