THE CLASSIFICATION OF (3, 3, 4) TRILINEAR FOR
Ng, Kok-Onn ;
Journal of the Korean Mathematical Society, volume 39, issue 6, 2002, Pages 821~879
DOI : 10.4134/JKMS.2002.39.6.821
Abstract
Let U, V and W be complex vector spaces of dimensions 3, 3 and 4 respectively. The reductive algebraic group G = PGL(U)
PGL(W)
PGL(W) acts linearly on the projective tensor product space (equation omitted). In this paper, we show that the G-equivalence classes of the projective tensors are in one-to-one correspondence with the PGL(3)-equivalence classes of unordered configurations of six points on the projective plane.

A GENERALIZATION OF HOMOLOGICAL ALGEBRA
Davvaz, B. ; Shabani-Solt, H. ;
Journal of the Korean Mathematical Society, volume 39, issue 6, 2002, Pages 881~898
DOI : 10.4134/JKMS.2002.39.6.881
Abstract
Our aim in this paper is to introduce a generalization of some notions in homological algebra. We define the concepts of chain U-complex, U-homology, chain (U, U')-map, chain (U, U')-homotopy and
-functor. We also obtain some interesting results. We use these results to find a generalization of Lambek Lemma, Snake Lemma, Connecting Homomorphism and Exact Triangle.

Liu, Lazhe ;
Journal of the Korean Mathematical Society, volume 39, issue 6, 2002, Pages 899~912
DOI : 10.4134/JKMS.2002.39.6.899
Abstract
In this paper, the boundedness of some commutators related to linear operators on weak Herz spaces are obtained.

THE INDIRECT BOUNDARY INTEGRAL METHOD FOR CURVED CRACKS IN PLANE ELASTICITY
Yun, Beong-In ;
Journal of the Korean Mathematical Society, volume 39, issue 6, 2002, Pages 913~930
DOI : 10.4134/JKMS.2002.39.6.913
Abstract
For curved crack problems in plane elasticity, subjected to the traction conditions on the crack faces, we present a system of boundary integral equations. The procedure is based on the indirect boundary integral method in terms of real variables. For efficient mathematical analysis, we decompose the singular kernel into the Cauchy singular part and the regular one. As a result, solvability of the presented system is proved and availability of the present approach is shown by the numerical example of a circular arc crack.

CONSTRUCTION OF UNBOUNDED DIRICHLET FOR ON STANDARD FORMS OF VON NEUMANN ALGEBRAS
Bahn, Chang-Soo ; Ko, Chul-Ki ;
Journal of the Korean Mathematical Society, volume 39, issue 6, 2002, Pages 931~951
DOI : 10.4134/JKMS.2002.39.6.931
Abstract
We extend the construction of Dirichlet forms and Markovian semigroups on standard forms of von Neumann algebra given in [13] to the case of unbounded operators satiated with the von Neumann algebra. We then apply our result to give Dirichlet forms associated to the momentum and position operators on quantum mechanical systems.

ON GENERALIZED RICCI-RECURRENT TRANS-SASAKIAN MANIFOLDS
Kim, Jeong-Sik ; Prasad, Rajendra ; Tripathi, Mukut-Mani ;
Journal of the Korean Mathematical Society, volume 39, issue 6, 2002, Pages 953~961
DOI : 10.4134/JKMS.2002.39.6.953
Abstract
Generalized Ricci-recurrent trans-Sasakian manifolds are studied. Among others, it is proved that a generalized Ricci-recurrent cosymplectic manifold is always recurrent Generalized Ricci-recurrent trans-Sasakian manifolds of dimension
5 are locally classified. It is also proved that if M is one of Sasakian,
-Sasakian, Kenmotsu or
-Kenmotsu manifolds, which is gener-alized Ricci-recurrent with cyclic Ricci tensor and non-zero A (ξ) everywhere; then M is an Einstein manifold.

TORSION IN THE COHOMOLOGY OF FINITE H-SPACES
Choi, Young-Gi ;
Journal of the Korean Mathematical Society, volume 39, issue 6, 2002, Pages 963~973
DOI : 10.4134/JKMS.2002.39.6.963
Abstract
We study torsion phenomena in the integral cohomology of finite if-spaces X through the Eilenberg-Moore spectral sequence converging to H＊(
X; Z
). We also investigate how the difference between the Z
-filtration length f
(X) and the Z
-cup length c
(X) on a simply connected finite H-space X is reflected in the Eilenberg-Moore spectral sequence converging to H＊(
X;Z
). Finally we get the following result: Let p be an odd prime and X an n-connected finite H-space with dim QH＊ (X;Z
)
m. Then H＊(X;Z) is p-torsion free if (equation omitted).tion omitted).
