It is well known that the application of the nonlinear coordinate transformations is useful for efficient numerical evaluation of weakly singular integrals. In this paper, we consider the trapezoidal rule combined with a nonlinear transformation

The aim of this paper is to prove the stability in the sense of Hyers-Ulam- Rassias of the Banach space valued differentialequation y' = λy, where λ is a complex constant. That is, suppose f is a Banach space valued strongly differentiable function on an open interval. If f is an approximate solution of the equation y' = λy, then there exists an exact solution of the equation near to f.

In this paper, we study rotation surfaces in the Minkowski 3-dimensional space with pointwise 1-type Gauss map and obtain by the use of the concept of pointwise finite type Gauss map, a characterization theorem concerning rotation surfaces and constancy of the mean curvature of certain open subsets on these surfaces.

Abstract
This paper is concerned with the strong consistency of the estimators of the autocovariance function and the spectral density function for the autoregressive process in the case where only an amplitude modulated process with missing data is observed. These results will give a simple and practical sufficient condition for the strong consistency of those estimators. Finally, some examples are given to illustrate the application of main result.

We study the metrical and topological pressure for flows without fixed points on a compact metric space, and get the results as follows: (1) The metrical pressure with respect to an ergodic measure can be defined by (t,

We generalize a result of Dror Farjoun and Zabrodsky on the relationship between fixed point sets and homotopy fixed point sets, which is related to the generalized Sullivan Conjecture. As an application, we discuss extension problems considering actions on homogeneous spaces of p-compact groups.
