Abstract
Let
be an oriented
bundle over a closed manifold M and let Q be its associated SO(3)-bundle, then we investigate the ring structure of the cohomology of the total space P by constructing the coupling form TA induced from an SO(3) connection A. We show that the cohomology ring of total space splits into those of the base space and the fiber space if and only if the Pontrjangin class
vanishes. We apply this result to the twistor spaces of 4-manifolds.

Abstract
In this paper, we first find a necessary and sufficient condition for the existence of multiple orthogonal polynomials by the moments of a pair of measures
and then give representations for multiple orthogonal polynomials. We also prove four term recurrence relations for multiple orthogonal polynomials of type II and several interesting relations for multiple orthogonal polynomials are given. A generalized recurrence relation for multiple orthogonal polynomials of type I is found and then four term recurrence relations are obtained as a special case.

G. Gruenhage gave a characterization of paracompactness of locally compact spaces in terms of game theory ([6]). Starting from that result we give another such characterization using a selective version of that game, and study a selection principle in the class of locally compact spaces and its relationships with game theory and a Ramseyan partition relation. We also consider a selective version of paracompactness.

We study free actions of finite abelian groups on 3dimensional nilmanifolds. By the works of Bieberbach and Waldhausen, this classification problem is reduced to classifying all normal nilpotent subgroups of almost Bieberbach groups of finite index, up to affine conjugacy. All such actions are completely classified.

In this paper, we present a general method for the stability analysis of some bursting models. Our method is geometric in the sense that we consider a flow-defined return map defined on a section and determine when the map is a contraction. We find that there are three different stability types in the codimension-1 planar bursters.

Abstract
M. Junger, G. Reinelt, and W. R. Pulleyblank asked the following questions ([2]). (1) Is it true that every simple planar 2-edge connected bipartite graph has a 3-partition in which each component consists of the edge set of a simple path? (2) Does every simple planar 2-edge connected graph have a 3-partition in which every component consists of the edge set of simple paths and triangles? The purpose of this paper is to provide a positive answer to the second question for simple outerplanar 2-vertex connected graphs and a positive answer to the first question for simple planar 2-edge connected bipartite graphs one set of whose bipartition has at most 4 vertices.
