Abstract
In this paper, we first discuss the convergence of the continued fractions of generalized Rogers-Ramanujan type in the modified sense. Then we prove several equalities concerning these continued fractions. The proofs of our main results are mainly based on the Bauer-Muir transformation.

Abstract
The family of q-Laguerre polynomials
is usually defined for 0 < q < 1 and
> -1. We extend this family to a new one in which arbitrary complex values of the parameter
are allowed. These so-called generalized q-Laguerre polynomials fulfil the same three term recurrence relation as the original ones, but when the parameter
is a negative integer, no orthogonality property can be deduced from Favard's theorem. In this work we introduce non-standard inner products involving q-derivatives with respect to which the generalized q-Laguerre polynomials
, for positive integers N, become orthogonal.

Let G be an abelian monoid with identity e. Let R be a G-graded commutative ring, and M a graded R-module. In this paper we first introduce the concept of graded primal submodules of M an give some basic results concerning this class of submodules. Then we characterize the graded primal ideals of the idealization R(+)M.

Abstract
This paper is concerned with the solution of ill-conditioned Systems of Linear Equations (SLE's) via the solution of equivalent SLE's which are well-conditioned. A matrix is rst constructed from that of the given ill-conditioned system. Then, an adequate right-hand side is computed to make up the instance of an equivalent system. Formulae and algorithms for computing an instance of this equivalent SLE and solving it will be given and illustrated.

Abstract
A new filled function method is presented in this paper to solve box-constrained nonlinear integer programming problems. It is shown that for a given non-global local minimizer, a better local minimizer can be obtained by local search starting from an improved initial point which is obtained by locally solving a box-constrained integer programming problem. Several illustrative numerical examples are reported to show the efficiency of the present method.

If the polynomial f has integrally indecomposable Newton polytope, in the sense of Minkowski sum, then it is absolutely irreducible over F, i.e., irreducible over every algebraic extension of F. We present some results giving new integrally indecomposable classes of polygons. Consequently, we have some criteria giving many types of absolutely irreducible bivariate polynomials over arbitrary fields.
