HASHEMI EBRAHIM ;
Communications of the Korean Mathematical Society, volume 21, issue 1, 2006, Pages 1~9
DOI : 10.4134/CKMS.2006.21.1.001
Abstract
A ring R is called (left principally) quasi-Baer if the left annihilator of every (principal) left ideal of R is generated by an idempotent. Let R be a ring, G be an ordered monoid acting on R by
and R be G-compatible. It is shown that R is (left principally) quasi-Baer if and only if skew monoid ring
is (left principally) quasi-Baer. If G is an abelian monoid, then R is (left principally) quasi-Baer if and only if the Cohn-Jordan extension
is (left principally) quasi-Baer if and only if left Ore quotient ring
is (left principally) quasi-Baer.

Abstract
In this paper, we establish a generalization of fundamental homomorphism theorem in BCK-algebras by using fuzzy BCK-filters. We prove that if

Communications of the Korean Mathematical Society, volume 21, issue 1, 2006, Pages 37~43
DOI : 10.4134/CKMS.2006.21.1.037
Abstract
We prove that
is an injective representation of a quiver
if and only if
are injective left R-modules,
is isomorphic to a direct sum of representation of the types
and
where
are injective left R-modules. Then, we generalize the result so that a representation
of a quiver
is an injective representation if and only if each
is an injective left R-module and the representation is a direct sum of injective representations.

AUTOMORPHISMS OF A WEYL-TYPE ALGEBRA I
Choi, Seul-Hee ;
Communications of the Korean Mathematical Society, volume 21, issue 1, 2006, Pages 45~52
DOI : 10.4134/CKMS.2006.21.1.045
Abstract
Every non-associative algebra L corresponds to its symmetric semi-Lie algebra
with respect to its commutator. It is an interesting problem whether the equality
holds or not [2], [13]. We find the non-associative algebra automorphism groups
and
where every automorphism of the automorphism groups is the composition of elementary maps [3], [4], [7], [8], [9], [10], [11]. The results of the paper show that the F-algebra automorphism groups of a polynomial ring and its Laurent extension make easy to find the automorphism groups of the algebras in the paper.┌ᘀ䡏䡈䉚ᔀ胭閜鳬鶘駭验耀

ON PREHERMITIAN OPERATORS
YOO JONG-KWANG ; HAN HYUK ;
Communications of the Korean Mathematical Society, volume 21, issue 1, 2006, Pages 53~64
DOI : 10.4134/CKMS.2006.21.1.053
Abstract
In this paper, we are concerned with the algebraic representation of the quasi-nilpotent part for prehermitian operators on Banach spaces. The quasi-nilpotent part of an operator plays a significant role in the spectral theory and Fredholm theory of operators on Banach spaces. Properties of the quasi-nilpotent part are investigated and an application is given to totally paranormal and prehermitian operators.

DOI : 10.4134/CKMS.2006.21.1.065
Abstract
In this paper, we will define the Bergman projection type operator Pr and find conditions on which the operator Pr is bound-ed on
(B, dv). By using the properties of the Bergman projection type operator Pr, we will show that if

. We will also show that if $(1-{\parallel}{\omega}{\parallel}^2)\; \frac{{\nabla}f(\omega){\cdot}z}{
},\;{\in}L^p{B,\;dv),\;then\;f{\in}L_a^p(B,\;dv)$

Communications of the Korean Mathematical Society, volume 21, issue 1, 2006, Pages 75~88
DOI : 10.4134/CKMS.2006.21.1.075
Abstract
Wiener measure and Wiener measurability behave badly under the change of scale transformation. We express the analytic Feynman integral over

and establish change of scale formulas for Wiener integrals over

LOCALIZATION PROPERTY AND FRAMES II
HA YOUNG-HWA ; RYU JU-YEON ;
Communications of the Korean Mathematical Society, volume 21, issue 1, 2006, Pages 101~115
DOI : 10.4134/CKMS.2006.21.1.101
Abstract
Localization of sequences with respect to Riesz bases for Hilbert spaces are comparable with perturbation of Riesz bases or frames. Grochenig first introduced the notion of localization. We introduce more general definition of localization and show that exponentially localized sequences and polynomially localized sequences with respect to Riesz bases are Bessel sequences. Furthermore, they are frames provided some additional conditions are satisfied.

A CHANGE OF SCALE FORMULA FOR WIENER INTEGRALS OF UNBOUNDED FUNCTIONS II
Yoo, Il ; Song, Teuk-Seob ; Kim, Byoung-Soo ;
Communications of the Korean Mathematical Society, volume 21, issue 1, 2006, Pages 117~133
DOI : 10.4134/CKMS.2006.21.1.117
Abstract
Cameron and Storvick discovered change of scale formulas for Wiener integrals of bounded functions in a Banach algebra S of analytic Feynman integrable functions on classical Wiener space. Yoo and Skoug extended these results to abstract Wiener space for a generalized Fresnel class
containing the Fresnel class F(B) which corresponds to the Banach algebra S on classical Wiener space. In this paper, we present a change of scale formula for Wiener integrals of various functions on
which need not be bounded or continuous.

SOME APPLICATIONS OF EXTREMAL LENGTH TO ANALYTIC FUNCTIONS
CHANG BO-HYUN ;
Communications of the Korean Mathematical Society, volume 21, issue 1, 2006, Pages 135~143
DOI : 10.4134/CKMS.2006.21.1.135
Abstract
We consider some applications of extremal length to the boundary behavior of analytic functions and derive theorems in connection with the conformal mappings. It shows us the usefulness of the method of extremal length. And we present some geometric applications of extremal length. The method of extremal length lead to simple proofs of theorems.

COHOMOLOGY AND TRIVIAL GOTTLIEB GROUPS
Lee, Kee-Young ;
Communications of the Korean Mathematical Society, volume 21, issue 1, 2006, Pages 185~191
DOI : 10.4134/CKMS.2006.21.1.185
Abstract
This paper observes that the induced homomorphisms on cohomology groups by a cyclic map are trivial. For a CW-complex X, we use the fact to obtain some conditions of X so that the n-th Gottlieb group
is trivial for an even positive integer n. As corollaries, for any positive integer m, we obtain
which are due to D. H. Gottlieb and G. Lang respectively, where
is the 2m- dimensional sphere and
is the complex projective m-space. Moreover, we show that
is the quaternionic projective m-space for any positive integer m and II is the Cayley projective space.

A RELATIVE REIDEMEISTER ORBIT NUMBER
Lee, Seoung-Ho ; Yoon, Yeon-Soo ;
Communications of the Korean Mathematical Society, volume 21, issue 1, 2006, Pages 193~209
DOI : 10.4134/CKMS.2006.21.1.193
Abstract
The Reidemeister orbit set plays a crucial role in the Nielsen type theory of periodic orbits, much as the Reidemeister set does in Nielsen fixed point theory. In this paper, extending Cardona and Wong's work on relative Reidemeister numbers, we show that the Reidemeister orbit numbers can be used to calculate the relative essential orbit numbers. We also apply the relative Reidemeister orbit number to study periodic orbits of fibre preserving maps.
