Jun, Young-Bae ; Park, Chul-Hwan ; Roh, Eun-Hwan ;
Communications of the Korean Mathematical Society, volume 23, issue 1, 2008, Pages 1~10
DOI : 10.4134/CKMS.2008.23.1.001
Abstract
Conditions for an ideal to be irreducible are provided. The notion of an order system in a subtraction algebra is introduced, and related properties are investigated. Relations between ideals and order systems are given. The concept of a fixed map in a subtraction algebra is discussed, and related properties are investigated.

NOETHER INEQUALITY FOR A NEF AND BIG DIVISOR ON A SURFACE
Shin, Dong-Kwan ;
Communications of the Korean Mathematical Society, volume 23, issue 1, 2008, Pages 11~18
DOI : 10.4134/CKMS.2008.23.1.011
Abstract
For a nef and big divisor D on a smooth projective surface S, the inequality
(S;
)
is well known. For a nef and big canonical divisor KS, there is a better inequality
(S;
)
which is called the Noether inequality. We investigate an inequality
(S;
)
like Clifford theorem in the case of a curve. We show that this inequality holds except some cases. We show the existence of a counter example for this inequality. We prove also the base-locus freeness of the linear system in the exceptional cases.

ON THE ORDERED n-PRIME IDEALS IN ORDERED Γ-SEMIGROUPS
Siripitukdet, Manoj ; Iampan, Aiyared ;
Communications of the Korean Mathematical Society, volume 23, issue 1, 2008, Pages 19~27
DOI : 10.4134/CKMS.2008.23.1.019
Abstract
The motivation mainly comes from the conditions of the (ordered) ideals to be prime or semiprime that are of importance and interest in (ordered) semigroups and in (ordered)
-semigroups. In 1981, Sen [8] has introduced the concept of the
-semigroups. We can see that any semigroup can be considered as a
-semigroup. The concept of ordered ideal extensions in ordered
-semigroups was introduced in 2007 by Siripitukdet and Iampan [12]. Our purpose in this paper is to introduce the concepts of the ordered n-prime ideals and the ordered n-semiprime ideals in ordered
-semigroups and to characterize the relationship between the ordered n-prime ideals and the ordered ideal extensions in ordered
-semigroups.

ON SOME CLASSES OF REGULAR ORDER SEMIGROUPS
Gao, Zhenlin ; Zhang, Guijie ;
Communications of the Korean Mathematical Society, volume 23, issue 1, 2008, Pages 29~40
DOI : 10.4134/CKMS.2008.23.1.029
Abstract
Here, some classes of regular order semigroups are discussed. We shall consider that the problems of the existences of (multiplicative) inverse
-transversals for such classes of po-semigroups and obtain the following main results: (1) Giving the equivalent conditions of the existence of inverse
-transversals for regular order semigroups (2) showing the order orthodox semigroups with biggest inverses have necessarily a weakly multiplicative inverse
-transversal. (3) If the Green's relation
and
are strongly regular (see. sec.1), then any principally ordered regular semigroup (resp. ordered regular semigroup with biggest inverses) has necessarily a multiplicative inverse
-transversal. (4) Giving the structure theorem of principally ordered semigroups (resp. ordered regular semigroups with biggest inverses) on which
and
are strongly regular.

OSCULATORY WFI-ALGEBRAS
Jun, Young-Bae ;
Communications of the Korean Mathematical Society, volume 23, issue 1, 2008, Pages 41~47
DOI : 10.4134/CKMS.2008.23.1.041
Abstract
The notions of mote, beam and osculatory WFI-algebra are introduced, and several properties are investigated. Relations between osculatory WFI-algebra and associative WFI-algebra are provided. Characterizations of osculatory WFI-algebra are given.

SHARP ESTIMATES FOR MULTILINEAR COMMUTATOR OF LITTLEWOOD-PALEY OPERATOR
Hao, Jinliang ; Liu, Lanzhe ;
Communications of the Korean Mathematical Society, volume 23, issue 1, 2008, Pages 49~59
DOI : 10.4134/CKMS.2008.23.1.049
Abstract
In this paper, we prove the sharp estimates for multilinear commutator related to Littlewood-Paley operator. By using the sharp estimates, we obtained the weighted
-norm inequality for the multilinear commutator for 1 < p <

BLENDING INSTANTANEOUS AND CONTINUOUS PHENOMENA IN FEYNMAN'S OPERATIONAL CALCULI: THE CASE OF TIME DEPENDENT NONCOMMUTING OPERATORS
Ahn, Byung-Moo ; Yoo, Il ;
Communications of the Korean Mathematical Society, volume 23, issue 1, 2008, Pages 67~80
DOI : 10.4134/CKMS.2008.23.1.067
Abstract
Feynman's operational calculus for noncommuting operators was studied via measures on the time interval. We investigate some properties of Feynman's operational calculi which include a variety of blends of discrete and continuous measures in the time dependent setting.

A REMARK ON INVARIANCE OF QUANTUM MARKOV SEMIGROUPS
Choi, Ve-Ni ; Ko, Chul-Ki ;
Communications of the Korean Mathematical Society, volume 23, issue 1, 2008, Pages 81~93
DOI : 10.4134/CKMS.2008.23.1.081
Abstract
In [3, 9], using the theory of noncommutative Dirichlet forms in the sense of Cipriani [6] and the symmetric embedding map, authors constructed the KMS-symmetric Markovian semigroup
on a von Neumann algebra
with an admissible function f and an operator
. We give a sufficient and necessary condition for x so that the semigroup
acts separately on diagonal and off-diagonal operators with respect to a basis and study some results.

Communications of the Korean Mathematical Society, volume 23, issue 1, 2008, Pages 111~124
DOI : 10.4134/CKMS.2008.23.1.111
Abstract
In this paper, we give some fixed point theorems on fuzzy metric spaces with an implicit relation. Our results extend and generalize some fixed point theorems on complete fuzzy metric spaces by using a new technique.

NUMERICAL SOLUTIONS OF OPTION PRICING MODEL WITH LIQUIDITY RISK
Lee, Jon-U ; Kim, Se-Ki ;
Communications of the Korean Mathematical Society, volume 23, issue 1, 2008, Pages 141~151
DOI : 10.4134/CKMS.2008.23.1.141
Abstract
In this paper, we derive the nonlinear equation for European option pricing containing liquidity risk which can be defined as the inverse of the partial derivative of the underlying asset price with respect to the amount of assets traded in the efficient market. Numerical solutions are obtained by using finite element method and compared with option prices of KOSPI200 Stock Index. These prices computed with liquidity risk are considered more realistic than the prices of Black-Scholes model without liquidity risk.
