Abstract
A ring R is called an
-ring if each left ideal not contained in the Jacobson radical J(R) contains a non-zero idempotent. If, in addition, idempotents can be lifted modulo J(R), R is called an I-ring or a potent ring. We study whether these properties are inherited by some related rings. Also, we investigate the structure of potent rings.

Abstract
In this paper, we show how to associate certain topologies with special ideals of BCC-algebras on these BCC-algebras. We show that it is natural for BCC-algebras to be topological BCC-algebras with respect to theses topologies. Furthermore, we show how certain standard properties may arise. In addition we demonstrate that it is natural for these topologies to have many clopen sets and thus to be highly connected via the ideal theory of BCC-algebras.

As a mathematical model proposed to understand the behaviors of interacting species, cross-diffusion systems with functional responses of prey-predator type are considered. In order to obtain

We consider the quasilinear parabolic systems with the cross-diffusion terms, and without the self-diffusion terms because of the simplicity of computations. As the main result we derive the uniform

Abstract
A new Monte Carlo method is presented to compute the prices of barrier options on stocks. The key idea of the new method is to use an exit probability and uniformly distributed random numbers in order to efficiently estimate the first hitting time of barriers. It is numerically shown that the first hitting time error of the new Monte Carlo method decreases much faster than that of standard Monte Carlo methods.

Abstract
This paper demonstrates how composite-exponential-fitting interpolation rules can be constructed to fit an oscillatory function using not only pointwise values of that function but also of that functions`s derivative on a closed and bounded interval of interest. This is done in the framework of exponential-fitting techniques. These rules extend the classical composite cubic Hermite interpolating polynomials in the sense that they become the classical composite polynomials as a parameter tends to zero. Some examples are provided to compare the newly constructed rules with the classical composite cubic Hermite interpolating polynomials (or recently developed interpolation rules).
