Sofo, Anthony ;
Communications of the Korean Mathematical Society, volume 29, issue 2, 2014, Pages 239~255
DOI : 10.4134/CKMS.2014.29.2.239

DOI : 10.4134/CKMS.2014.29.2.257

ON THE GROWTH RATE OF SOLUTIONS TO GROSS-NEVEU AND THIRRING EQUATIONS
Huh, Hyungjin ;
Communications of the Korean Mathematical Society, volume 29, issue 2, 2014, Pages 263~267
DOI : 10.4134/CKMS.2014.29.2.263
Abstract
We study the growth rate of
Sobolev norm of the solutions to Gross-Neveu and Thirring equations. A well-known result is the double exponential rate. We show that the
Sobolev norm grows at most an exponential rate exp(

FURTHER EXPANSION AND SUMMATION FORMULAS INVOLVING THE HYPERHARMONIC FUNCTION
Gaboury, Sebastien ;
Communications of the Korean Mathematical Society, volume 29, issue 2, 2014, Pages 269~283
DOI : 10.4134/CKMS.2014.29.2.269
Abstract
The aim of the paper is to present several new relationships involving the hyperharmonic function introduced by Mez
in (I. Mez
, Analytic extension of hyperharmonic numbers, Online J. Anal. Comb. 4, 2009) which is an analytic extension of the hyperharmonic numbers. These relations are obtained by using some fractional calculus theorems as Leibniz rules and Taylor like series expansions.

STABLE WEAK SHADOWABLE SYMPLECTOMORPHISMS ARE PARTIALLY HYPERBOLIC
Bessa, Mario ; Vaz, Sandra ;
Communications of the Korean Mathematical Society, volume 29, issue 2, 2014, Pages 285~293
DOI : 10.4134/CKMS.2014.29.2.285
Abstract
Let M be a closed, symplectic connected Riemannian manifold and f a symplectomorphism on M. We prove that if f is
-stably weak shadowable on M, then the whole manifold M admits a partially hyperbolic splitting.

ON LIGHTLIKE SUBMANIFOLDS OF A GRW SPACE-TIME
Kang, Tae Ho ;
Communications of the Korean Mathematical Society, volume 29, issue 2, 2014, Pages 295~310
DOI : 10.4134/CKMS.2014.29.2.295
Abstract
This paper provides a study of lightlike submanifolds of a generalized Robertson-Walker (GRW) space-time. In particular, we investigate lightlike submanifolds with curvature invariance, parallel second fundamental forms, totally umbilical second fundamental forms, null sectional curvatures and null Ricci curvatures, respectively.

ASCREEN LIGHTLIKE HYPERSURFACES OF A SEMI-RIEMANNIAN SPACE FORM WITH A SEMI-SYMMETRIC NON-METRIC CONNECTION
Jin, Dae Ho ;
Communications of the Korean Mathematical Society, volume 29, issue 2, 2014, Pages 311~317
DOI : 10.4134/CKMS.2014.29.2.311
Abstract
We study lightlike hypersurfaces of a semi-Riemannian space form
admitting a semi-symmetric non-metric connection. First, we construct a type of lightlike hypersurfaces according to the form of the structure vector field of
, which is called a ascreen lightlike hypersurface. Next, we prove a characterization theorem for such an ascreen lightlike hypersurface endow with a totally geodesic screen distribution.

CONFORMALLY RECURRENT SPACE-TIMES ADMITTING A PROPER CONFORMAL VECTOR FIELD
De, Uday Chand ; Mantica, Carlo Alberto ;
Communications of the Korean Mathematical Society, volume 29, issue 2, 2014, Pages 319~329
DOI : 10.4134/CKMS.2014.29.2.319
Abstract
In this paper we study the properties of conformally recurrent pseudo Riemannian manifolds admitting a proper conformal vector field with respect to the scalar field
, focusing particularly on the 4-dimensional Lorentzian case. Some general properties already proven by one of the present authors for pseudo conformally symmetric manifolds endowed with a conformal vector field are proven also in the case, and some new others are stated. Moreover interesting results are pointed out; for example, it is proven that the Ricci tensor under certain conditions is Weyl compatible: this notion was recently introduced and investigated by one of the present authors. Further we study conformally recurrent 4-dimensional Lorentzian manifolds (space-times) admitting a conformal vector field: it is proven that the covector
is null and unique up to scaling; moreover it is shown that the same vector is an eigenvector of the Ricci tensor. Finally, it is stated that such space-time is of Petrov type N with respect to

SAMPLING EXPANSION OF BANDLIMITED FUNCTIONS OF POLYNOMIAL GROWTH ON THE REAL LINE
Shin, Chang Eon ;
Communications of the Korean Mathematical Society, volume 29, issue 2, 2014, Pages 379~385
DOI : 10.4134/CKMS.2014.29.2.379
Abstract
For a bandlimited function with polynomial growth on the real line, we derive a nonuniform sampling expansion using a special bandlimited function which has polynomial decay on the real line. The series converges uniformly on any compact subsets of the real line.
