H5Station: An Effective HTML5-based Multimedia File Management System

As various smartphones users are increasing rapidly, the more contents they keep in their devices, however, the larger necessity for the effective and easy management of their files they want. To satisfy this need, we propose an integrated multimedia files management system, H5Station. By using H5Station client, users can connect to the H5Station server running on their own PC, and manage their multimedia files effectively, and enjoy every file they have. The H5Station client is developed by using HTML5 standard technology. Therefore H5Station client can run on any HTML5-supported browser. Main functions of the H5Station are as follows: configuring user settings, charting the distribution of user files, upload/download/deletion of files, synchronizing files' metadata between client and server, playing user-selected files, searching files users want, and finally creating user-customized buttons. Through these functions, users can easily find, play, and manage their multimedia contents at any place and anytime.
Measurement of the Spatial Dose Rate for Distribution Room in Department of Nuclear Medicine

Even though the protective facility is well made with the development of medicine, the spatial dose within the radiation section could increase the exposure of the workers. The spatial dose is always present in distribution room within the Department of Nuclear Medicine, so the spatial dose of the interior distribution room is measured and analyzed for the prediction of the exposure dose. It also showed that the spatial dose rate on the direction of right oblique showed higher than others by the standard of distribution window of distribution room. Therefore, the staying time of the workers should be short during distributing radiopharmaceuticals in the distribution room and the design of the distribution protection is necessary to reduce the exposure in the direction of right oblique of the protection. The utmost endeavors are required to reduce the worker's individual exposure dose while doing IV.
Development of Adaptive Eye Tracking System Using Auto-Focusing Technology of Camera

Eye tracking technology tracks human eyes movements to understand user's intention. This technology has been improving slowly and should be used for a variety of occasions now. For example, it enables persons with disabilities to operate a computer with their eyes. This article will show a typical implementation of an eye tracking system for persons with disabilities, after introducing the design principles and specific implementation details of an eye tracking system. The article discussed the realization of self-adapting regulation algorithm in detail. The self-adapting algorithm is based on feedback signal controlling the lens movements to realize automatic focus, and to get a clear eyes image. This CCD camera automatic focusing method has self-adapting capacity for changes of light intensity on the external environment. It also avoids the trouble of manual adjustment and improves the accuracy of the adjustment.
CUDA-based Object Oriented Programming Techniques for Efficient Parallel Visualization of 3D Content

This paper presents a parallel object-oriented programming (OOP) platform for efficient visualization of three-dimensional content in CUDA environments. For this purpose, this paper discusses the features and limitations in implementing C++ object-oriented codes using CUDA and proposes the solutions. Also, it presents how to implement a 3D parallel visualization platform based on the MVC (Model/View/Controller) design pattern. Also, it provides sample implementations for integral MLS (iMLS) and signed distance fields (SDFs) based on the Marching Cubes and Raytracing. The proposed approach enables GPU parallel processing only by implementing simple interfaces. Based on this, developers can expect general benefits that are common in general OOP techniques including abstractization and inheritance. Though I implemented only two specific samples in this paper, I expect my approach can be widely applied to general computer graphics problems.
The Changes of Korean Pop Music through Digital Music Industry

This research considers growth of digital music industry and the consequential changes in the environment of music consumption, and how environment of purchasing digital music has influenced music's length and forms. Meaningful data such as average length of music, average time taken to chorus, appearance of intro, interlude, outro, and precedence of chorus has been collected from K-Pop of 2000 to 2011 through this research. Result has shown music sample streaming service in internet music industry has brought changes in music's length and formation, which leaded to birth of hook songs. Through this case of consumer's environmental influence on music, research predicts music industry will look forward to achieving techniques to deliver music more effectively by adopting the content's download-based internet environment.
Face Detection in Near Infra-red for Human Recognition

In this paper, face detection method in NIR(Near-InfraRed) images for human recognition is proposed. Edge histogram based on edge intensity and its direction, has been used to detect effectively faces on NIR image. The edge histogram descripts and discriminates face effectively because it is strong in environment of lighting change. SVM(Support Vector Machine) has been used as a classifier to detect face and the proposed method showed better performance with smaller features than in ULBP(Uniform Local Binary Pattern) based method.
An MHP based Data Service for Managing Viewer's Favorite Broadcasting Programs

Although the increase in number of the programs provides rich entertainment to viewers, it also has caused a negative of making it hard for viewers to find out their favorite programs. To address the problem, several researches have been performed mainly focusing on the technologies to analyze a viewer's TV watching-patterns and to recommend a program (or a channel) based on the analysis when a viewer changes channels. The researches, however, have the trouble of frequently failing to choose proper programs because, in the real-world broadcasting circumstance, the programs are re-broadcast over a number of the channels and a set of programs of a genre are usually playing in the overlapped times. To avoid the trouble, the data service, proposed in the paper, allows a viewer to book "explicitly" his/her favorite programs and provides a set of functions of listing up the booked program's broadcasting schedules and reserving viewing or recording the booked programs.

This paper presents research result of digital marketing model for improving enterprise marketing campaign performance. Recently, the enterprises which had completed projects such as ERP, CRM, and SCM for business value chain process transformation are working to improve enterprise marketing process. It is the trend for enterprises to use digital marketing tactics to overcome the limit of existing traditional marketing tactics. Especially, enterprises try to adopt digital marketing for marketing campaign performance. In this paper, digital marketing research model and hypothesis were established and statistically analyzed by marketing expert survey research. The research finding is that Web Analytics, Social Analytics, Personalized CRM, Campaign execution automation, Real-Time campaign management can be core influencers for marketing campaign performance improvement.

The 3D stereoscopic image contents have been emerging as the blue chip of the contents market of the next generation since the
. However, all the 3D contents created commercially in the country have failed to enter box office. It is because the quality of Korean 3D contents is much lower than that of overseas contents and also current 3D post production process is based on 2D. Considering all these facts, the 3D editing process has connection with the quality of contents. The current 3D editing processes of the production case of

On the other hand, the objective 3D editing by applying the visualization of depth data can adjust itself to the cubic effect of the same space and the whole content equally, which will enrich the 3D contents. A Study on Tangible Gesture Interface Prototype Development of the Quiz Game

This paper introduce a quiz game contents based on gesture interface. We analyzed the off-line quiz games, extracted its presiding components, and digitalized them so that the proposed game contents is able to substitute for the off-line quiz games. We used the Kinect camera to obtain the depth images and performed the preprocessing including vertical human segmentation, head detection and tracking and hand detection, and gesture recognition for hand-up, hand vertical movement, fist shape, pass and fist-and-attraction. Especially, we defined the interface gestures designed as a metaphor for natural gestures in real world so that users are able to feel abstract concept of movement, selection and confirmation tangibly. Compared to our previous work, we added the card compensation process for completeness, improved the vertical hand movement and the fist shape recognition methods for the example selection and presented an organized test to measure the recognition performance. The implemented quiz application program was tested in real time and showed very satisfactory gesture recognition results.
A study on an Improved Model for Requirements Traceability

The management of user requirements for information system development is a key element. The traceability has been studied in a specific method as using a traceability table or SOA related to the requirement management. But there are few case about proposing a objective and quantified evaluation method and judgement criterion for none-technical business managers. This researcher has proposed, easy to access by unprofessional and objective and qualifiable, evaluation methods and criteria of Judging for adequacy of requirements reflection in the development process of information system for the government office through a previous case study. In this study, I will give consideration to study the limitations of previous studies and improve the evaluation formula for measuring the reflection of the requirements and derive, reviewed to provide a variety of criteria for each business, through business case analysis.
Human Motion Tracking based on 3D Depth Point Matching with Superellipsoid Body Model

Human motion tracking algorithm is receiving attention from many research areas, such as human computer interaction, video conference, surveillance analysis, and game or entertainment applications. Over the last decade, various tracking technologies for each application have been demonstrated and refined among them such of real time computer vision and image processing, advanced man-machine interface, and so on. In this paper, we introduce cost-effective and real-time human motion tracking algorithms based on depth image 3D point matching with a given superellipsoid body representation. The body representative model is made by using parametric volume modeling method based on superellipsoid and consists of 18 articulated joints. For more accurate estimation, we exploit initial inverse kinematic solution with classified body parts' information, and then, the initial pose is modified to more accurate pose by using 3D point matching algorithm.
