The various services are required to user in time and space. It is important to provide suitable service to user according to user's circumstance. Therefore it is need to provide services to user through mining by latest information of user activity and service history. In this paper we propose a mining method to search association rule using service history based on spatiotemporal information and service ontology. In this method, we find the associative service pattern using level-cross tree on service ontology. The proposed method is to be a basic research to find the service pattern to provide high quality service to user according to season, location and age under the same context.
Driver's Behavioral Pattern in Driver Assistance System

This paper analyzes the recognition of driver's behavior in lane change using context-free grammar. In contrast to conventional pattern recognition techniques, context-free grammars are capable of describing features effectively that are not easily represented by finite symbols. Instead of coordinate data processing that should handle features in multiple concurrent events respectively, effective syntactic analysis was applied for patterning of symbolic sequence. The findings proposed the effective and intuitive method for drivers and researchers in driving safety field. Probabilistic parsing for the improving this research will be the future work to achieve a robust recognition.
A Study on Changing SNS Platform Using the Augmented Reality and Pairing

Owing to supply of smart phones and the diffusion of SNS, the number of peoples who are living, linked with us, is incomparably more than in the past. The continuous communication is essential in maintaining good relationship, so peoples have no choice but to seek for most efficient communication method in order to maintain good relationship. This thesis intended to advise how to construct next generation immersive multi-media system, using augmented reality and MPEG-V that have come to the fore recently. In addition, the SNS platform service of new type was suggested in this thesis, in connection with the pairing service. Now, we can create a town in a specific space like the real world, if we utilize the augmented reality that became possible by SNS service and we can talk and exchange informations in that space. This system would provide various services peoples wish to have, interlocking experiences through five senses like sense of vision, sense of hearing, sense of touch and etc..
Build the Teaching Practice System based on Cloud Computing for Stabilization through Performance Evaluation

Cloud computing is already well known paradigm that a support computing resource flexible and scalable to users as the want in distributed computing environment. Actually, cloud computing can be implemented and provided by virtualization technology. Also, various products are released or under development. In this paper, we built the teaching practice system using cloud computing and evaluated practical environment which constructed over a virtual machine. Virtualization-based cloud computing provides optimized computing resources, as well as easy to manage practical resource and result. Therefore, we can save the time for configuration of practice environment. In the view of faculty, they can easily handle the practice result. Also, those practice condition reuse comfortably and apply to various configuration simply. And then we can increase capabilities and availabilities of limited resources. Additionally, we measure the performance requirements for educational applications through evaluation of virtual-based teaching practical system in advance.
Semantic search of web documents using ontology

To provide efficient and correct search results, ontology which use the structure of information, is considered as a main mechanism in the semantic web. Therefore, recent research in information retrieval and data construction have emphasized the use of ontologies as a data representation and search mechanism. In this paper, we propose a semantic search method using ontology to improve search ability in web environment. Ontology and knowledge base is used to represent semantic meaning of the data and provide related web documents and facts as results. Also, search result ranking mechanism is proposed. The mechanism use cardinality of the keyword in the contents and structural information of ontology. Experimental results with several query processing indicate that different coefficient value in the expression gives different results in sample ontology system and we propose appropriate values of the coefficient.
A Research on Gender Discourse of Animation Character: Focused on Female Characters of Disney Animation Frozen

Gender Representation of animation character that is discussed in this essay is a semantic discourse that is related to communication with contemporary audience. For gender Representation of animation character, as it can be thought that linguistic elements for signification with audience are materialized, it has a significant value when it comes to communication with audience. Commercial success of Disney's feature length animation Frozen is from excellent aesthetic principles and techniques and global marketing capabilities of Disney studio. However, independent and active gender representation of Elsa and Anna in Frozen are more important commercial successful elements. Especially, Gender representation of these two characters reflects myth of women who live in this modern society so their linguistic meaning can appear affluently. That also means that those two characters have advantages, in terms of communication, that can have effective signification with contemporary audience as linguistic sign. And those advantages are signification foundation that Frozen can be commercially successful by communicating with audience all around the world.
A Study on Metaphor Characteristics of Social Network Service

The purpose of this study is to extract metaphor characteristics of Social Network Service. Social Network Service is different from existing media only available in one-way communication, each individual expands opinion by sharing daily life and opinion directly and interpreting another user's post. This Study premise that the reason of converting from passive reader to active enunciator is the metaphor characteristics of Social Network Service by 'Source Domain' and 'Target Domain'. In addition, this study examines the meaning of structure user's text production and interpreting based triple mimesis of Paul Ricoeur. This study has significance as arguing with existing study on SNS as metonymic media and suggesting metaphor characteristics and meaning of Social Network Service.
Application Performance Evaluation in Main Memory Database System

The main memory DBMS is operated which the contents of the table that resides on a disk at the same time as the drive is in the memory. However, because the main memory DBMS stores the data and transaction log file using the disk file system, there are a limit to the speed at which the CPU accesses the memory. In this paper, I evaluated the performance through analysis of the application side difference the technology that has been implemented in Altibase system of main memory DBMS and Sybase of disk-based DBMS. When the application performance of main memory DBMS is in comparison with the disk-based DBMS, the performance of main memory DBMS was outperformed 1.24~3.36 times in the single soccer game, and was outperformed 1.29~7.9 times in the soccer game / special soccer. The result of sale transaction response time showed a fast response time of 1.78 ~ 6.09 times.
A Study on the Effects of the Extension of Terrestrial TV VOD Hold-back on the Viewing Behavior focusing on IPTV & Digital Cable TV

This study deals with the effects of the extension of terrestrial TV VOD holdback on the viewing behavior focusing on IPTV & digital cable TV. And this study presents the implication by analyzing a time series trend of the digital media service. Thus researcher has analyzed the VOD performance trend of IPTV & digital cable TV, based on the real data of media player's internal fact sheet. First, researcher confirmed that the repetition of the peak value goes to January and August seasonally. Also, it was confirmed that the viewing rate of terrestrial broadcasting companies is affected by the hit drama program. And researcher confirmed that the terrestrial VOD, movie and kids VOD, and terrestrial VOD purchases is falling down by analyzing a time series relationship. Terrestrial broadcasting companies did an extension of the holdback for the purpose of trying to increase the viewership of the broadcast, but it was confirmed that it was reduced both purchasing desire VOD viewing and viewing of the broadcast audience rather. Thus the researcher expect the customer familiar policy of media players in the future.
3D lattice information space for TV contents based on spatial metaphor : TV interface perspective

The complexity to search a specific content over TV platform is drastically increasing. Based on previous studies from computer data management system, we propose a new method that helps users to search and select content effectively. In general, contents over computers are represented by spatial metaphor, which replicates our physical environment and value systems about space. We suggest 3D lattice structure to construct information space for TV platform. Users can infer relevance between contents via special clue in information space, so as to select content more easily. Also, they can search contents through its temporal property that also represented in space. We make full use of our natural capability that can reduce additional overload to learning new interface. The results of this study can be significant and heuristic contributions, as they can be applied to diverse service areas utilizing video contents.
