Error Correction Scheme in Location-based AR System Using Smartphone

Spread of smartphone creates various contents. Among many contents, AR application using Location Based Service(LBS) is needed widely. In this paper, we propose error correction algorithm for location-based Augmented Reality(AR) system using computer vision technology in android environment. This method that detects the early features with SURF(Speeded Up Robust Features) algorithm to minimize the mismatch and to reduce the operations, and tracks the detected, and applies it in mobile environment. We use the GPS data to retrieve the location information, and use the gyro sensor and G-sensor to get the pose estimation and direction information. However, the cumulative errors of location information cause the mismatch that and an object is not fixed, and we can not accept it the complete AR technology. Because AR needs many operations, implementation in mobile environment has many difficulties. The proposed approach minimizes the performance degradation in mobile environments, and are relatively simple to implement, and a variety of existing systems can be useful in a mobile environment.
Cooperative 3D Modelling System based on WebGL

The proposed cooperative 3D modelling system enables more efficient modeling works by improving current cooperation systems. Current 3D modeling tasks work on off-line and most of works are cooperation systems which communicate by files. These cooperation system cannot be interactive, occurs time delay while feedback and must have some programs which can read the files. This paper solves these problems using web that has the characteristics of network and proposes new cooperation system form. Using WebGL(Web Graphics Library) which is proposing technology in technical realization of Web 3D modeling, we make 3D objects in web browser and these objects can be manipulated by server-client communication. Therefore, if people use this system, they can use real time interaction and feedback. Also this system lowers a software installation necessity and can access everytime if web browser is installed.
An Integrated Management System of the Educational Equipments and Contents of Secondary School

These days due to the introduction of the subject classroom system, the classrooms for the subject are arranged and various advanced educational equipment is provided in the classroom such as the actual object image processor, electronic blackboard, and educational photographer which are helpful to the class. With the increase of these equipments, the number of remote controller of individual educational equipment also increases, therefore it is complicate to manage the remote controllers and teachers need to learn the usage of them. So the system supports a remote control for managing the educational equipment by the one remote controller and the instructional supplement. The system consists of the hardware which is similar to popular remote controller and the software which is installed on the teacher's PC and supports controlling the educational equipments, recording the instruction, writing on the blackboard, and automatic power off of the equipment. By introducing the system the teacher could reduce the time consumed by the equipment's control and useless electric waste.
A study on curing the wounded heart applications development and effect analysis by utilizing narrative therapy techniques

This study is to design and implement Smartphone application by applying the principles and processes of narrative therapy for the participants. The application is able for participants to fight out of the difficulty in question centered on the issue, and to be able to find a positive new stories to be evolving the story of their lives as well. Therefore, using the application will help them to live a healthier life out of the problems. As a way of currying the wounded heart of the youth, narrative therapy techniques were applied to Smartphone appliances accustomed to the youth. The youths' wounded minds will not only be easily cured but also can be a important factor in determining the direction of life. In this study, narrative flow was structured into four stages; relationships, externalization, creating new stories and strengthening the new story bsed on Doll & Doll' theory. Based on them, the Smartphone application for curing the wounded heart was designed and developed by utilizing narrative therapy techniques. The application was tested by 30 University students in Jeonbuk province in Korea and the results showed that they were satisfied with the application with relation to improving their heart health.
A Visual Study of the Phonemic Awareness

This experimental study aims at understanding the Korean subjects' phonemic awareness in the English minimal pairs. For the purpose of the experiment, English listening comprehension tests were designed using minimal pairs and conducted among subjects, and the results of the tests were analyzed with the help of spectrogram. From the results of this study, I could find out three important things: First, subjects have difficulty in understanding and distinguishing English vowel minimal pairs. Second, among the English vowel minimal pairs, they had much difficulty in distinguishing between /ə:/ and /ɔ:/. Third, subjects could recognize the semivowel /w/ in words without any difficulty. In addition to this, I tried to analyze the results using the spectrogram, which helps to educate students effectively.
A Study on the Utilization of 4K/UHD Camera with 2/3" Sensor : Focused on Application of HD Lens

Recently, there is more and more demand on broadcasting display environment that provides a sense of realism basically with high quality and high definition as in UHDTV, so various kinds of 4K cameras have been released. Super 35mm sensor 4K/UHD cameras being generally used can be usefully applied to the single camera-based system such as advertisements, dramas, nature documentaries, and culture programs. However, in the multicamera-based system such as entertaining programs, sports, and concerts, relay broadcasting may face limitations as there are restrictions of close-up or tight shots according to the distance. Besides, 4K lenses are not enough compared with the previous HD lenses' group, so there are limitations in camera photographing shots that have been realized in HD filming. Therefore, to complement this, the use of 2/3 inch sensor 4K/UHD cameras is being demanded, and it is also needed to use various lenses' groups to produce UHD image contents. Accordingly, this study used Grass Valley's LDX 4K/UHD camera to analyze its applicability based on the picture quality test at the use of HD lenses in 2/3 sensors and also the possibility of its efficient application.
Modeling of Various Digital Leaves Using Feature-based Image Warping

This study proposes a leaf modeling method that uses feature-based warping for efficient generation of various digital leaves. The proposed method uses warping method, one of image processing application techniques that can control various shapes of leaves in an easy, intuitive way, and generate natural patterns of veins efficiently. First, information on approximated contour is detected from a leaf blade image to identify the shape of a blade. Based on this, control line is automatically calculated to be used for feature-based warping. Then, control line-based warping is conducted to modify forms of leaf blade images in an intuitive way, automatically generating leaves of various shapes. And natural vein patterns are generated by applying a contour-based venation growth algorithm from contour information of the modified leaf blade images. This study performs experiments to verify whether various shape of leaves that comprise plants can be efficiently generated using a sample binary image of a blade. Also, we demonstrate that express the natural growth of leaves by applying warping to the growth of the leaf blade.
Implementation of HTML5-based Website providing Public Sports Facilities in Seoul

As people are highly interested in health, the number of people who participate in various sports programs is getting increased. But there is no web service which integrates all the information of the public sports facilities in Seoul and it's convenient to use the public sport facilities. So we propose an integrated information system whoever can find the public sports facilities in Seoul. The public APIs for the Seoul public sports facilities provided by Seoul city are used to integrate the information. Also, our web page provides various graphic function using pictures and videos of the facilities on the environment of HTML5. And it is the responsive webpage which can be provided on both desktop and mobile environment. By implementing the wizard page, the managers of the facilities who are not specialized can renew the information about their facilities easily. And for the easier searching, we provides three options of searching: local, subjects, themes.
An Efficient Spatial Data Cache Algorithm for a Map Service in Mobile Environment

Recently, the interests of mobile GIS technology is increasing with the spread of wireless network, the improvement of mobile device's performances, and the growth of demands about mobile services. Providing services in a wireless environment with existing wired-based GIS solutions have many limitations such as slow communication, processing rates and screen size. In this paper, we propose a cache algorithm on client side to solve the above problems. The proposed algorithm demonstrates the performance improvement over known studies by utilizing unit time and spatial proximity. In addition, this paper conducts a performance evaluation to measure the improvement in algorithm efficiency and analyzes the results of the performance evaluation. When spatial data queries are conducted, according to our performance evaluation, hit rate has been improved over the existing algorithms.
QR Code Design of Museum that incorporates Museum Identity -focused on four public art gallery in Jeju-

Jeju're behind in communicating with the public and local population compared to the national registration number of the best art galleries and the relatively low awareness needed to promote alternative that fits the times. QR Code excel in design and favorable approach to provide the identity of the drawing and the information is being used to promote a variety of mediators of the museum. However, most of the Jeju Museum of Art is the situation with incomplete registration of the design development design development requires QR code is a feasible reality. In this study, I analyze the semantics of the Museum Identity divided into six places in Jeju registered public art gallery in the signifier and signified. Proposed a design QR code QR code developed and developing design reflects the Museum Identity of development based on a selection of four places to the use case analysis of the design according to the value of properties.
A Study on Measurement of Objective Image Quality by Scanning Type for MPEG-2-based Terrestrial 2HD Service and Application on Experimental Broadcasting

Since starting of terrestrial digital broadcasting in 2001, there has been discussion on introduction of multiple broadcasting services, one of advantages of digital broadcasting. In the mean time, task force on terrestrial multiple channel experimental broadcasting was formed with government organizations, broadcasting companies and household appliance companies in Oct. 2013, and terrestrial multiple channel experimental broadcasting was started between Jan. to April, 2014. Based on this experimental result, EBS started 2HD MMS experimental broadcasting first in Korea on Feb. 11, 2015. This study was carried out in consideration of operation of 2 HD channels in existing 6MHz bandwidth based on MPEG-2 codec with development of compression technology. A study on image quality optimization was carried out and applied to 2HD MMS experimental broadcasting through application experiment of variable bit rate and change according to 1080i and 720p scanning type.
The Study on the factor influencing to SNS use of Chinese students in Korea

This study focused on SNS use of Chinese students who are studying in Korea. Communication media like SNS is strongly related with socialization of foreigners. Thus, it is expected to verify relationship between current SNS use tendency of Chinese students and their settlement in Korea based on analysis on the factor influencing SNS use of Chines students. For the study on the factor influencing to SNS use of Chinese students in Korea TAM model was used as a research frame. Based on TAM theory technological attribute, individual attribute and social attribute were taken out as independent variables. Perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness are applied as mediator variables. In research conclusion, some hypotheses are adopted the same as existing theory, but some hypotheses for example service quality and individual attribute are rejected as variables which influence positively to mediator variable perceived easy of use. For the next research more various variables and nationwide sampling will be needed. Based on this research it is expected to be analysed correlation between foreigners settlement in Korea and communication media like SNS.
A Study about the Users's Preferred Playing Speeds on Categorized Video Content using WSOLA method

In a fast-paced information technology environment, consumption of video content is changing from one-way television viewing to VOD (Video on Demand) playing anywhere, anytime, on any device. This video-watching trend gives additional importance to videos with fine-speed-control, in addition to the strength of the digital video signal. Currently, many video players provide a fine-speed-control function which can speed up the video to skip a boring part, or slow it down to focus on an exciting scene. The audio information is just as important as the visual information for understanding the content of the speed-controlled video. Thus, a number of algorithms for fine-speed-control video-playing technologies have been proposed to solve the pitch distortion in the audio-processing area. In this study, well-known techniques for prosodic modification of speech signals, WSOLA (Waveform-Similarity-Based Overlap-Add), have been applied to analyze users' needs for fine-speed-control video playing. By surveying the users' preferred speeds on categorized video content and analyzing the results, this paper proposes that various fine-speed adjustments are needed to accommodate users' preferred video consumption.
General-purpose Transaction Management Technique for Data Stability of NoSQL on Distributed File System

In this paper, we research to secure stability of data storing/searching on NoSQL implemented on Distributed File System. When implementing NoSQL on Distributed File System, we faced that random write on Distributed File System is almost impossible. To solve this problem, a concept of Intermediate-File was employed, and then it has been achieved that our system resist any failure circumstance. Additionally, since we discovered its performance cannot be as fast as general File System, by redefining the file block unit for our NoSQL system, we have prevented a slowdown in system performance. As a result, we are able to develop highly scalable NoSQL as Distributed File System, which fulfills basic conditions of transaction: Atomicity, Consistency, Isolation, and Performance.
Rationalization Process for Digital Design and Fabrication -Based on the Case of Fabricating Interior Panels-

Although the use of CAD and CAM technologies has been broadly adopted by architecture-engineering- construction-facility management (AEC/FM) industry as the means of producing complex forms, there are still remained issues such as reducing cost, and enhancing quality and manufacturability. In this paper, to resolve given issues, we suggest a process of rationalization in digital architecture design and fabrication as an integrated approach. The rationalization, which is usually used as the term related with the skin panel of free-form architecture, is a process of re-designing a digital model to meet the requirements of manufacturing considering the gap with an original designs. Thus we classified this process and conducted a case study of fabricated models as an exploratory study. As the result, we found that each phase is connected with other phases with the circulation of information and rationalization process can be determined as the circulative process which re-designs digital model by minimally deviating from the original design based on the information deducted from analysis of inter-compatability of software and requirement of hardware.
An Analysis for Optimal Moving Speed of Taxi based on Taxi Service Data

In this paper, we analyze the optimum moving speed of taxi for maximum revenue. In the analysis, we vary taxi speed from 5km/h through 80km/h to see how revenue of a taxi varies applying the practical gas mileage of LPG taxi and taxi fare system in Korea. From the results of the analysis, we see that the probability that a taxi meets passengers goes high as taxi speed gets fast, however the fuel cost also goes up. We also obtain the optimum speed for the maximum revenue according to passenger distribution while varing moving speed.
Design and Implementation of local advertising application(App) through SNS service analysis

In this paper, we had tried to study advertising method of local industry in cooperation with SNS (Social Network Service). In particular, This paper analyzes the Facebook Page trying to find a way to take advantage of the local advertising. To analyse the Facebook page, I had created three Facebook pages such as at Hongik UNIV., Gangwon National UNIV., and specialities in Cuncheon cities. While I was managing the three pages, I had analyzed the results of quantities of activities, and in addition, had used NodeXL for the analysis of the network for the each page. After the analysis of the data of each page, I had found the possibility of the promotion for the successful the local advertizement associated with SNS. To verify and develop the results of my study, I had designed the " real time local advertising APP which is connected with SNS like Facebook, had created server program based on PHP, Android APP. In the future, I have found that there must be a lot of possibilities for the successful and various the local advertising methodologies by using SNS like Facebook, the operational data of the App.
An Approach to the BIM-enabled Assessment of Building Circulation using Quantitative Data and its Weight

This paper describes a quantitative approach to the BIM-enabled assessment of building circulation by using quantitative data and applying its weight. Assessment of building circulation plays an important role before construction stage because of related requirements regulated by design guide, building codes, etc. and design decision making as well. In this paper, Qualitative issue is mainly dealt with that are usually excluded from rule checking objects due to their implicit definition such as 'comfortable circulation'. A weighting framework is suggested using weighted data of circulation properties such as 1) metric distance, 2) number of passing spaces, 3) number of turning spaces, 4) window area of passing space, etc.

Security Management System is a system which operates in the security control center for security control. All living things across the Internet in recent years, with the rapid increase in the subscriber base has increased the need for network security dramatically depending on yirueojim through web services, thus cyber security sheriff, I have a big issue to build a security management system, each agency and perform control tasks. But the security functional requirements for security management system would not specified exactly, in developing a security management system to build and design a situation that PP's needs require a lot of trouble. In this paper, we develop a Managed Security System Protection Profile for the security functional requirements specification of the security management system.
