On the speaker's position estimation using TDOA algorithm in vehicle environments

This study is intended to compare the performances of sound source localization methods used for stable automobile control by improving voice recognition rate in automobile environment and suggest how to improve their performances. Generally, sound source location estimation methods employ the TDOA algorithm, and there are two ways for it; one is to use a cross correlation function in the time domain, and the other is GCC-PHAT calculated in the frequency domain. Among these ways, GCC-PHAT is known to have stronger characteristics against echo and noise than the cross correlation function. This study compared the performances of the two methods above in automobile environment full of echo and vibration noise and suggested the use of a median filter additionally. We found that median filter helps both estimation methods have good performances and variance values to be decreased. According to the experimental results, there is almost no difference in the two methods' performances in the experiment using voice; however, using the signal of a song, GCC-PHAT is 10% more excellent than the cross correlation function in terms of the recognition rate. Also, when the median filter was added, the cross correlation function's recognition rate could be improved up to 11%. And in regarding to variance values, both methods showed stable performances.
Mining Association Rule on Service Data using Frequency and Weight

The general frequent pattern mining considers frequency and support of items. To extract useful information, it is necessary to consider frequency and weight of items that reflects the changing of user interest as time passes. The suitable services considering time or location is requested by user so that the weighted mining method is necessary. We propose a method of weighted frequent pattern mining based on service ontology. The weight considering time and location is given to service items and it is applied to association rule mining method. The extracted rule is combined with stored service rule and it is based on timely service to offer for user.
Selection of Scalable Video Coding Layer Considering the Required Peak Signal to Noise Ratio and Amount of Received Video Data in Wireless Networks

SVC(Scalable Video Coding), which is one form among video encoding technologies, makes video streaming with the various frame rate, resolution, and video quality by combining three different scalability dimensions: temporal, spatial, and video quality scalability. As the above SVC-encoded video streaming consists of one base layer and several enhancement layers, and a wireless AP(Access Point) chooses and sends a suitable layer according to the received power from the receiving terminals in the changeable wireless network environment, the receiving terminals supporting SVC are able to receive video streaming with the appropriate resolution and quality according to their received powers. In this paper, after the performance analysis for the received power, packet loss rate, PSNR(Required Peak Signal to Noise Ratio), video quality level and amount of received video data based on the number of SVC layers was performed, an efficient method for selecting the number of SVC layer satisfying the RSNR and minimizing the amount of received video data is proposed.
Technique for the ECG Bio-sounds Visualization Analysis Based on the MIT-BIH Database

This work introduces techniques experienced for the electrocardiogram(ECG) visual analysis, able to characterize the major parameters and events with clinical relevance for heart failure management and cardiovascular risk assessment. In particular, it includes approaches for ECG data visual processing such as the variable charts, graphs base on the complex MIT-BIH ECG database. Through the experienced this works of ECG database visualization, so many researcher more easily access the complex ECG database and can intuitionally understand the meanings via a variable ECG visualized data.

This paper is to review from a developer's perspective about the relationship between game development and the convergence of several disciplines during the game development. As the popularity of smart phones is accelerating mobile gaming it is becoming an area where various types of games that appeal to all ages of users. In this study, the production of a new genre of mobile games that can be enjoyed by all ages apart an existing generalized game and will be described an experience for them. The games built on the game plan, the planning information through the process of creating the actual game. At the same time, it studies on the relationship between each process by several studies.
