This paper announces that, with the emergence of the imaginary university for the remote education, which is based on Web due to the education change, the introduction of the Multimedia contents system using computers and the Internet becomes serious. For this reason, this paper suggests search system for managing the imaginary university documents. For the success of the document management of the imaginary university, document search is regarded as an important issue as well as the executive support and search system of the document management. This paper plans and embodies the imaginary university XML document search system to establish the foundation of increasing efficiency o( affairs using XML document, by aiming at the fact that it will be highlighted as a representative application field as well as the efficiency of the executive affairs, by applying of Multimedia documentary creation system, which is about the imaginary university XML documentary that it is seen distinctly an effect of administrative work being a consequence of new technique application of computers.
GMPLS Technology for Next Generation Multimedia Internet Services

In this paper, we present the general interface, label-switched path structure and link bundling in GMPLS to improve the scalability. The LMP protocol is also introduced to efficiently manage the internal link, and the signaling protocol, hierarchical path setup, hi-directional LSP setup and suggested label method are presented. Finally, the techniques of protection and restoration are presented. In specific, various applicable restoration techniques in GMPLS are discussed.

Digitalization might be one of the most prevalent buzzwords these days. While most large enterprises and some small and medium enterprises(SMEs) are introducing the digital management system, most SMEs are still not. Therefore, competitive force of these most SMEs might be go from bad to worse. The purpose of this paper is to grape the method to strengthen competitive force of SMEs and to study the strategy for digital management of SMEs. To achieve this goal, this study will analyze the state of digital management of SMEs, grasp at themes for improving it. Also, this study will develop digital management model for SMEs and discuss alternatives and methods of digital management to drive strategically on the spot small and medium enterprises
Design of IPv4/IPv6 Converter with Security Prediction Capability

It is necessary to change internet protect from version 4 (IPv4) to version 6 (IPv6). A converter from IPv4 to IPv6 is working in a laboratory not in practice. In this paper, we review internet protocol versions (IPv6) and design IPv4 to IPv6 converter. The IPv4 to IPv6 converter also has security prediction capability so as to deal with security problem when IPv4 packet is converted to IPv6 packet.
A Design of Workflow based on EJB Component for E-Business Contents

E-Business part is activated to base on contents for supports various constomer's desire. That is, techniqueses for efficient business transaction processing are studied and Web-Based component technology such as EJB is applied. Thus, this research designed Wokeflow for efficient E-Business contents supervision and processing that apply Web-Based EJB component technology. Accordingly, 1 used web server component model EJB for handling of various contents. Components of function module can improve system development efficiency of reusability, maintenance etc.. to process various contents.
Design and Implementation of Mobile IP Protocol using DHCP

When mobile node moves into the different IP address area, the mobile node can be set the proper environment parameters automatically by DHCP. If we extend the DHCP option field to support the roles of home agent and foreign agent in mobile IP protocol, mobile node can perform the foreign address registration process of mobile IP protocol when DHCP IP environment is achieved automatically, too. DHCP is supplied in the PC with a series of Windows NT. This paper proposes and implements the functional blocks of extended DHCP nodes and this enables the DHCP node have a role of mobile IP agents without another protocol functional blocks.
Approximation Vertex Search of Polygon-based Shape Coding by the Type of Distortion Patterns

If we reduce the number of vertexes to decrease bit rate in polygon-based shape coding, the distortion of approximated contour increases rapidly. On the other hand, if we reduce the distortion, the number of vertexes increases rapidly and many bits are required to encode the vertexes. To improve this problem, in this paper we propose the approximation vertex search method. The encoder in the proposed method searches the type of distortion patterns that is the most similar to the shape which polygon edge and contour segment form and then encodes it. And then, the decoder mathematically finds the approximated vertexes from decoded distortion pattern information. Therefore, the proposed algorithm results in encoding many vertexes at a low bit rate and having the smoother shape than conventional method. As shown in computer simulation, the proposed method has less distortion than conventional method. It costs less bit rate by
than conventional algorithm in same distortion.
A Study on the Types and Usages of PDA Users

It has not been long since the current form of PDA began to be used widely. The PDA, which first came out in a recognizable form in the market a decade ago, multiplying the number of users, has recently been developed in various forms. It began to make cutting-edge technology available in PDA, and to be subdivided into various forms appropriate for special purposes, which reflected the recent intense competition in the market. It included the function of mobile phone, in tandem with the original function of PDA, by which it brought about other synergy effects and corresponded with the purpose more solidly. Due to these recent changes, PDA has had a dramatically increasing number of users, as well as the wider scope of usage and practical application by introducing new technology. However, research is required in the fields of basic usage and interface. It is important to recognize that PDA is an apparatus that stores for the users contents and information suitable for them, and that responds to them in case of need. PDA therefore needs to convey what the users require more easily and speedily without errors, and to provide them with appropriate information and contents. This paper examined the extent to which the interface of PDA including the input of contents required by the user would be efficient by questionnaires. In addition, alternatives concerning a general application environment of PDA were suggested based on the result of this survey.
Optimization Models and Algorithm for the Capacitated Facility Location-Allocation Problem

In this paper, we present integer programming models and algorithms for the Capacitated Facility Location-Allocation Problem (CFLP). The models and algorithms can be used for the design of logistics networks and for the location of telecommunication facilities. We are given a set of candidate facility installation sites, one type of facility for each candidate site with its capacity and installation cost, a set of customers with their demand requirement, and flow cost for one unit of demand flow from each customer to each candidate site. (CFLP) is to determine the number of facilities for each candidate site and the set of customers which are connected to each site with minimum cost, while satisfying the demand requirement of each customer and constraints imposed on the allocation of customers to facilities. We present two integer programming models for (CFLP), and devise a branch-and-cut algorithm and a branch-and-price algorithm for the problem.
A Study on an Error Sharing Agent for Multimedia CSCW

This paper explains the design and implementation of the ESA(Error Sharing Agent). ESA is a system that is suitable for detecting, sharing and recovering software error based on multimedia CSCW(Computer Supportes Cooperated Work). This system consists of an ED, ES, and ER. ED detects an error by hooking techniques. ES is an agent which is an error sharing system for distributed multimedia collaboration environment With error sharing system, a group cooperating users can share error applications. From the perspective of multimedia collaborative environment, an error application becomes another interactive presentation error is shared with participants engaged in a cooperative work. We propose how an error application can be treated as 'media' in a multimedia collaborative environment.
The Implementation of Communication Emulate Based on Component For Automation System

Currently, communication field for automation system can be divided by simple serial communication for communication between each internal devices and network base remote control system that is based on TCP/IP. In spite of great development of network, communication part for internal control is using simple RS232 base until present. Also, development techniques of system developed by object oriented program in modular programming techniques of each function unit. Currently, it developed by component base development technique that is parts unit of software. This is presented by the new alternative of software development techniques as techniques to composition independent operation unit including business logic and is connected to development of new system. Therefore, this research implemented internal communication Emulate in RS232C based on GUI that apply development techniques of component base. that is, I maked component to commnication control part between receiving and sending and, as composite it, Control part did to handling between send and receive data.
Performance Analysis of Fault Tolerance System on Distributed Multimedia Environment

Multimedia is now applied to various real worlds. In particular, the focus of CSCW(Computer Supported Cooperated Work) for multimedia education system has increased. DOORAE is a framework for supporting development of applications running on distributed multimedia environment and multimedia distance education system. EDA is a system is able to detect automatically a software error based on distributed multimedia. It has been designed and implemented for construction and experiment of effective DOORAE environment. It detects an error by polling periodically the process with relation to session. Conventional method detects an error by polling periodically all the process. This papaer explains a performance analysis of an error detection system running on distributed multimedia environment using the rule-based SES and DEVS modeling and simulation techniques. In DEVS, a system has a time base, inputs, states, outputs, and functions.
