A Study on the Aim of Policies for Activating Practical Digital Sound Contents

The development of mass media along with technology development is accelerating the development of diverse contents. Among others, the role of music contents is now extended to be applicable to the overall cultural contents thus, the market is growing at a rapid speed. As the music market transforms from the record market to the digital music source market, the creation, distribution, and marketing techniques of digital sound contents become different. Likewise, the music industry has been dynamically changed and came to even demand a paradigm shift in the music industry. This study is meaningful in that it aimed to contemplate additional on-going issues for developing the music industry, such as national policy and support, amendment of related laws, and public awareness, and to suggest an aim to head for.
Height Measurement using the image sequences

In this paper, we propose the algorithm that automatically measures the height of the object to move on the base plane by using the geometric information. To extract a moving object from images, we use the difference image and morphology operation. The top and bottom point of an object are extracted by the histogram vertical projection in the extracted region. The two points, top and bottom, are used for measuring the height. Given the vanishing line of the ground plane, the vertical vanishing point, and at least one reference height in the scene; then the height of any point from the ground may be computed by specifying the image of the point and the image of the vertical intersection with the ground plane at that point. Through a confidence valuation of the height to be measured, we confirmed similar actual height and result in the simulation experiment.

The hamonious development of human brain has been an indigenous objective of each age. A variety of training programs related to the purpose have turned up at an educational market and a commercial market, as well. I'd like to indicate, however, that these training methods are somewhat prejudiced and have some elements, inherently, which are against the development of human brain for one's whole personality. Therefore, the most desirable brain training program is to induce it to respond to various stimuli, to educate for itself and to generate continuously, to create and strengthen an innumerous synapse among brain cells, so as to form a nero-network. In this study, I have used a brain training program with multimedia which have been produced for a specific purpose. With this method, by measuring directly the effectiveness of human brain development, I have analysed more objectively and more quantitatively.
A flexible mechanism for supporting various profiles in the content adaptation system

As becoming the age of ubiquitous, there are many discussion and publication for standards to express platform profile. These various platform profiles have some problems. The solve these problems, we propose and develop a new posting mechanism which improve the performance of contents adaptation engine by simplifying platform profile and processing various type of platform profiles; we introduce the way to integrate different profiles to solve nut to recognize the profile which is used by different adaptation system and simplify platform profile by grouping the similar attributes of platform profiles. Proposed system can processing different profiles and also the system overhead to processing a profile and creating a dynamic profile has reduced. As a result overall performance of content adaptation system has increased.

In this paper, we present several types of game AI control systems such as Movement Scripts, FSM(Finite State Machines), Hierarchical State Machines, fuzzy State Machines, and Pathfinding techniques and their limitations.
A Study on Dual-Band and Multi-Band Slot Loaded Patch Antenna

In this paper, we introduced the dual-band and multi-band slot loaded patch antenna for multi services. This antenna has the characteristic of dual-band and multi-band antenna by 4 slots nearly located in the edges of a patch. By changing the number and location of probe, the width and length of slot, and the distance between slot and the edge of patch, we studied the performance of dual-band and multi-band characteristic.
A Study of Stability Evaluation Method Using EEG

This paper proposes an algorithm for human sensibility evaluation using 4-channel EEG signals of the prefrontal and the parietal lobes. The algorithm uses an artificial neural network and the multiple templates. The linear prediction coefficients are used as the feature parameters of human sensibility. Comfortableness and temperature/humidity are evaluated. Many conventional researches have emphasized that a wave of left prefrontal lobe is activated in case of positive sensibility and that of right prefrontal lobe is activated in case of negative sensibility. So the power ratio of n wave is obtained from for computation and the results are compared. The results of the comfortableness evaluation for temperature and humidity showed that the outputs of the proposed algorithm coincided with corresponding sensibilities depending on the task of the temperature and the humidity. The conventional method using a wave is hardly related with comfortableness. And it is also observed that the uncomfortable state due to the high temperature and humidity can be easily changed to the comfortable state by small drop of the temperature and the humidity.
Digital Watermarking Using Embedded Zerotree Wavelet Algorithm

In this paper, We proposed extraction method using EZW a specific character and then add watermark significant coefficient of image. After wavelet transform in image, the significant coefficient value add to watermark information image. In this method, the locations of nonzero wavelet coefficients are encoded with a tree structure, called zerotree, which can exploit the self-similarity of the pyramid decomposition across different scales. The simulation shows that this method provides a superior performance over conventional method and can be successfully applied to the application areas that requires of progressive transmission and search for image data.
A Study of E-Learning by Multimedia for English

The development of web service area enables to integrate the various existing systems into web, which have been utilized to the several fields such as education business and companies. The e-learning could be an important teaching method for English education in that the learners prefer to use of the visual material in language learning. The students are provided with the motivation of learning for it is interesting to them. The purpose of this study is to research the problems so that web service can be organized efficiently for the education of English. In addition, this paper is to suggest an alternation of the direction for development of skills to solve the existing problems.
A study on the eye Location for Video-Conferencing Interface

In current video-conferencing systems. user's face movements are restricted by fixed camera, therefore it is inconvenient to users. To solve this problem, tracking of face movements is needed. Tracking using whole face needs much computing time and whole face is difficult to define as an one feature. Thus, using several feature points in face is more desirable to track face movements efficiently. This paper addresses an effective eye location algorithm which is essential process of automatic human face tracking system for natural video-conferencing. The location of eye is very important information for face tracking, as eye has most clear and simplest attribute in face. The proposed algorithm is applied to candidate face regions from the face region extraction. It is not sensitive to lighting conditions and has no restriction on face size and face with glasses. The proposed algorithm shows very encouraging results from experiments on video-conferencing environments.
