The advent of multimedia as the new media was caused popularization of personal computer and evolution of technology. The age of multimedia instigated the coming of new paradigm. The computer have been changed reality as a human culture to simulation culture. And it have been developed as a connector between real world and cyber space. As a result, a man who have used a computer has a possibility of danger of immersion or addiction. Therefore we must have the media competence.
Performance Analysis of Short Range High Speed Wireless Data Communication System

Short-range wireless transmission and networking technologies are becoming increasingly important in enabling useful mobile applications. Bluetooth and IEEE 802.11b standards are the most commonly deployed technologies for WPAN and WLAN. This paper investigates the effect of short range wireless channel on the performance of MC-CDMA/BPSK system and Bluetooth GFSK signal transmission in AWGN and Rician fading environments. And we investigate performance degradation due to interference effects in short range wireless channel. We firstly derive a equation for the bit error probability in additive white Gaussian noise depending on MC-CDMA/BPSK signal and GFSK modulation signal parameters according to the Bluetooth RF standard. Then, from this error rate expression we calculate the mean error probability for MC-CDMA/BPSK signal and Bluetooth GFSK signal in Rician fading and interference channel. In particular, the impacts of the Rician fading depth and interference level on the error probability is shown in BER performance figures.
Implementation of RFID System Type C Using VHDL

In recent years, the Internation Standard ISO/IEC 18000-6 is announced and a new scheme of Type C is added to conventional standard. Among the RFID systems the ISO/IEC 18000-6 standard is the most interesting to companies due to its potential market growth. The operating frequency is between 860-960 MHz, and three kinds of RFID system are included in the standard, i.e. type A, B and C. In this paper, we implemented the data frame of type C with baseband coding using VHDL. The data frame is encoded based on Miller code and FM0. We showed the implementation results with waveforms. The data frame was proved that it is properly implemented by the experiment of transmission and receiving operation.

It is not too much to say that invention of image divided the 19th and 20th century. Rapidly developed, produced and played images have a stronger effect on human beings and society. Today, images have an influence on forming interpersonal relationships by means of consciousness and ideas of new dimension, creating new image relationship different from verbal relationship between people. Especially moving image(image) is unlike other images, an image has unique psychological characteristics of its on. An image stimulates all the five human senses as well as sight, is easer to access and perceive than other media, and unable to control image development passively in general but get absorbed unconsciously very quickly. On 21th century As we are exposed to image whether consciously or unconsciously everyday, consideration on current times driving human beings and social relationship in an abnormal way is needed. Furthermore, new view of image study suggest to new relation of image that is a key factor to recover humanity and functions of society.

Wibro(Wibro - Wireless Broadband Internet ) is a system that can accept effectively the IP-based Wireless data traffic with upward / downward asymmetric transfer characteristic by using a Wirelss broadband transfer technology in OFDMA/TDD (Orthogonal frequency Division Multiple Access/Time Division Duplex). Wibro service should support handover to maintain connection continuously in movement because the service is based on If system which is different from cellular system. Current Micro Mobility system and general Mobile If system has got a problem of delayed speed and lost packets during handover. IETF protocol has been proposed for minimizing this problem and its standardization is under process, mainly focused on Mip4, Mip6 and Mipshop WG. This article studies and analyzes an effective method of minimizing handover delay to improve the problem of WiBro system and its revitalization & outlook.
A Study on the Reliability Improvement of RFID System

In recent years, RFID is widely used in industrial applications including factory, material flow, logistics and defense areas. In this paper, The convolutional encoding and viterbi decoding is also implemented to improve the system performance. in an FPGA chip. The used convolution code is constraint length K=3 and rate R=1/2. The length of command frame and response frame is total of 48bits consisting of SOF 8 bits, command 16 bits, CRC 16 bit, and EOF 8 bits. And also the frame error rates are measured under the channel of line-of-sight and non line-of-sight, respectively. The performances are analyzed with FSK modulation only and FSK modulation added with convolutional encoding. These two measured results are compared with that of a RFID system with ASK modulation.

The Internet is now of the fastest growing areas of telecommunications and of Computer Assisted Language Learning. It is rapidly becoming more integrated into society and accessible to people form around the world. A number of educators believe there is potential for language teaching and learning opportunities through the Internet, and have already developed uses and resources for this purpose. The range of what is available is growing continually. The purpose of this study is to research CMC via the Internet and other long-distance networks, to investigate the analyse best and worst things about studying English on the internet and to suggest some findings from the comparison between internet and classroom learning by means of questionnaire.
Performance Evaluation of Different Factors According to ROI Coding Methods in JPEG2000

Currently, the preferred processing of a user-centered ROI(Region-of-Interest) or a specific region of image to transmission and decompression of a full image is needed in different applications, specifically mobile applications. Here, we have to study how different factors affect ROI coding methods. Therefore, an application can select an ROI coding method and several parameters suitable for the environments. The ROI coding methods used in the study are Maxshift and Implicit and the parameters are tile size, image size, code block size, ROI importance and the number of lowest resolution levels. This study shows the experimental results between the different parameters and the two ROI coding methods.

Performance on the Minimum Delay Algorithm of Optimal Streaming Multimedia Presentations

A synchronized multimedia presentation consists of a collection of objects, with each object having one or more rendering intervals within the presentation timeline. These intervals specify the objects' start times and end times relative to the presentation timeline. In this paper we consider the problem of streaming a multimedia presentation from a server to a client over a bandwith-limited communication network. We suppose that each of the static objects is layered-encoded. For a given maximum delay, we consider the problem of finding the optimal number of quality of the presentation. We devise efficient algorithms for determining an optimal policy for several criteria. We also consider the problem of gradual rendering of objects after their start times.
A Study of the Development of Domestic Animation Industry through the Analysis of the OSMU cases in TV Contents

The digital contents industry has now become the most important industry in the 21st century. Among the various digital contents industries, the animation industry has emerged as a higher value-added culture contents business with a strong possibility of growth from the field of image and character to the copyright area. Yet, the overall market structure has not been consolidated except for a few successful projects because of the sharp decline in domestic animation and the upward trend in global animation business. Due to reduced investment in producing TV animations, OSMU is an essential alternative for the animation industry. In this research, we aim to analyze the development of the domestic animation industries by studying the actual condition of OSMU for broadcasting contents.
