A Classification Method for Item-based Online Game

Recently, additional value of games has been started to increase by revitalization of the game market. Especially, Because of the creation of the new trend that is item trade especially in online game, Item trade is as a easy and essential way as item trade can be created. However, compared to other planning factors, occupied weight of item is not as much as expected in exploiting a game. For this reason, we emphasize the importance of game item by giving the opportunity that increases the additional value with raising satisfaction of game through item-based study, plus suggesting new classification.
A Study on the Visible Light of the Wireless Communication and Its Application

Depends on the running dry of the radio resources for the next generation of wireless communication system the estimated possibilities of the visible light which used for the devices such as signal light, the electric display board, guide board and so on applied for the next generation wireless network is the topic to be explored in this paper. Since radiation efficiency utilization for the wireless network has its capacity to become a trend direction we will study also on its application as well as the technique standardization.

In the ubiquitous which is rapidly developing with ultra speed these days, constructing the u-Campus which is using the sensor-network as its base is keep developing. Also, any information related equipments like PC and mobile, computing is possible whenever and wherever you want and due to the development of the wireless network, the service environment is continually developing. In this article, I'd like to suggest the u-Campus which is very suitable to the user's environment which had used application of mobile. In u-Campus, various techniques are adopted and applied along with development of info-communication related technidques. Especially, the new type of campus which is constructed by adopting the ubiquitous computing net-work technique to the campus of university is the u-Campus. In this article, by suggesting u-Yuhan designing methods, more effective and advanced school activities of students to make possible.
Adaptive Hierarchical Hexagon Search Using Spatio-temporal Motion Activity

In video coding, motion estimation is a process to estimate the pixel of the current frame from the reference frame, which affects directly the predictive quality and the encoding time. This paper is related to AHHS(Adaptive Hierarchical Hexagon Search) using spatio-temporal motion activity for fast motion estimation. The proposed method defines the spatio-temporal motion activity of the current macroblock using the motion vectors of its spatio-temporally adjacent macroblocks, and then conventional AHS(Adaptive Hexagon Search) is performed if the spatio-temporal motion activity is lower, otherwise, hierarchical hexagon search is performed on a multi-layered hierarchical space constructed by multiple sub-images with low frequency in wavelet transform. In the paper, based on computer simulation results for multiple video sequences with different motion characteristics, the performance of the proposed method was analysed and assessed in terms of the predictive quality and the computational time. Experimental results indicate that the proposed method is both suitable for (quasi-) stationary and large motion searches. The proposed method could keep the merit of the adaptive hexagon search capable of fast estimating motion vectors and also adaptively reduce the local minima occurred in the video sequences with higher spatio-temporal motion activity.
A Method to Block Spam Mail Automatically Through the Connection to Link URL

In this paper, I developed a method whereby spam mail is automatically blocked through the connection to link URL. The blocking system works as follows. First, the system extracts information of URL linked to electronic mail which was delivered from any server on the internet. Next, the system lets itself be connected to the web pages through this URL. Last, the system blocks the electronic mail if those web pages contain any key word which was defined as a clue to spam mail.
Implementation and Simulation of 2D Ray-tracing Technique in Multiple-wall Indoor Environment

In this paper, we implemented a ray-tracing simulator with a ray-launching technique and generated the propagation path of each ray in a multiple-wall indoor environment. In this simulator, we adopted two dimension ray-tracing techniques considering the reflection and penetration were dominant propagation factor in the indoor channel. From the result, we verified that this ray-tracing simulator shows the similar path pattern and delay distribution with the experiment results of the previous research. Especially, impulse responses of the ray were corresponding to reference result in non-line of sight of multiple-wall indoor environment. Furthermore, we confirmed that channel profiles having respectively different departure angle 1 degree to 7 degree were similar between them.
Development of Automatic Creating Web-Site Tool for the Blind

This paper documents the design and implementation of an automatic creating web-site tool for the blind to build their own homepage by using both voice recognition and voice mixed technology with equal ease as the non-disabled. The blind can make voice mails, schedules, address lists and bookmarks by making use of the tool. It also facilitates communication between the non-disabled with the help of their information management system. This tool converts basic commands into voice recognition, also making an offer of text-to-speech which supports voice output. In the end, the tool will remove the blind's social isolation, allowing them to enjoy the information age like the non-disabled.
Study about a public sign in Cheon - An station

This study analyzes the sign system, the types and distribution of sign boards, around Cheon-An railway station which is a representative public space, and it gives a classification of the system through investigating them by types and location. Some points are issued on the kind of the system established, the location of the information, and the clustered plantation of them. Thus, it is required to differentiate sign systems in each section, to distribute them uniformly rather than aggregated densely, and to place them at pertinent locations with the analysis of people's behavior avoiding improvised decision. In conclusion, pedestrians' needs on them should be analyzed first no matter where the sign is installed so that it is possible to develop tranquil atmosphere for people to use through providing proper information.
A Building Method of High Availability Protection Architecture in Next Generation Network (NGN) Information Security System

The high availability of information security system shall be primarily studied in relation to the Next Generation Network(NGN) Information Security infrastructure, because it is very important to maintain availability at each moment as a variety of intrusions occur continuously. The high availability of the security system can be realized with the topology and configuration properly defined to fully utilize the recovery function of the security system in the thoroughly planned optimized method. The active-active high availability on the NGN information security infrastructure system in is assured by letting the failover mechanism operate upon the entire structure through the structural design and the implementation of functions. The proposed method reduces the system overload rating due to trouble packets and improves the status of connection by SNMP polling trap and the ICMP transport factor by ping packet.
Performance Evaluation of a Wireless Home Network in the Presence of Co-Channel Interference

RPersonal area networking technology is becoming increasingly important in enabling useful wireless home applications. For example, Bluetooth and IEEE 802.11b standards are the most commonly deployed technologies for wireless home applications. However, because both standards share the same unlicensed ISM (Industrial, Scientific, Medical) radio spectrum, severe interference is inevitable and performance can be impaired significantly when heterogeneous devices using the two technologies come into close proximity. In this paper, we research Gaussian FSK Bluetooth system, which is an open specification technology for short-range wireless connectivity between electronic devices. In this paper, we analyzes the effects of co-channel interference on the performance of a Gaussian FSK Bluetooth system. Performance criteria used in the study are the signal to interference power ratio (SIR), interference index, and the bit error rate (BER) in the wireless channel. The effect of co-channel interference from various sources on the performance of a Gaussian FSK Bluetooth system is analyzed using an IGA(Impulsive Gaussian Approximation) method, and these quantities are plotted against Eb/No,
and SIR for various channel conditions in figures.
Control of metadata schema conflicts for internet datawarehouse

With the increasing of users' request about internet web service, importance of Internet datawarehouse to support decision making of users is increasing now. Early Internet datawarehouse was studied in the form of using existent database and XML. However, because of limitation of information expression ability, it is gradually changed to system that use metadata schema like RDFS. Because of distributed environment of the Internet, integration and saving of each metadata schemas into one global schema is important. However, between each different schema, semantic and structural conflicts can be happen in such situation and they must be controlled. In this paper, we analyze occasions of conflict when integrate distributed metadata schemas and propose conflict resolution technique for efficient internet datawarehouse query processing.
Metadata Registry Integration Framework for Knowledge Information Governance

For Knowledge Information Governance, integration search mechanism of Knowledge Information is required in various industries. But when Knowledge Information system constructs in each professional field, it developed and used its own metadata format. Accordingly, if distributed information system searches using metadata, heterogeneous problems are occurred among metadata. For integration search, it needs a consistency management of metadata. Therefore, this paper defines a standard metadata that represent standard metadata as surveying a used metadata in each field systems. Also, we propose a metadata registry integration framework for Knowledge Information Governance. It enables an integration search service without a metadata modification of existing system. Through the proposed framework, it can registries and manages efficiently the existing metadata. Also, it enables a semantically extended search using semantic relation between metadata.
Personalized Digital Music Recommendation Based on the Collaborative Filtering

In this paper, we introduce a music recommendation system that automatically recommends music according to users' musical tastes. The recommendation system uses a graph-based collaborating filtering in which similarities between musics are saved as a graph, and so it can perform fast recommendation based on the implicit preference information. It also has capability of recommending music according to users' dynamically changing preferences as well as users' static preferences. The recommendation server is implemented as an independent server using Java, and communicates with clients according to a specified protocol. A demo web site has been built by using the server and music download data from actual users, and the accuracy of recommendation has been measured through experiments.
A Study of Performing Frequency, Importance, and Difficulty on Video Editor's Duties

An advance in digital technologies and an introduction of HDTV contents production systems have made innovative changes in a TV broadcasting program and video production environment. The role of HD contents production experts is particularly getting more important to have a competitiveness in digital video production. It is necessary to develop a professional training and reeducation program that is based upon the perception of production experts. In this paper, we ed the perception of video production professionals and analyzed their requirements. With a DACUM job analysis method, 9 job duties and 71 tasks were retrieved to establish a research model. Then the performing frequency, importance, and difficulty in video editor's duties were analyzed and discussed.
A Data-Driven Query Processing Method for Stream Data

Traditional query processing method is not efficient for continuous queries with large continuous stream data. This paper proposes a data-driven query processing method for stream data. The structure of query plan and query execution method are presented. With the proposed method, multiple query processing and sharing among queries can be achieved. Also query execution time can be reduced by storing partial results of query execution. This paper showed an example of query processing with XML data and XQuery query.

The meaning of 'Metamorphosis' is transformation or disguise. It also means the process of modification from 'Image A' to 'Image B'. 'Metamorphosis' which has derived from many race's myth shows the various field of 'Literature', 'Music' and 'Art'. Through the development of cinematography, the still image in 'Film' and 'Animation' could be combined with time and the process of 'Metamorphosis' has been observed. Specially individual and fantastic forms in animation have created by many animators, because every factor of individual image in animation could be transformed and modified. And 'Metamorphosis' shows the sector of metaphor which is based on narration and the functional scene conversion in animation. 'Metamorphosis' which includes magical and fantastic character also provides the hilarious effect and the special film language to us.
A Study of Leaky Bucket using Burst Tokens

The Leaky Bucket mechanism has been studied in many areas. There has been much interest in flow control in High Speed Networks using the Leaky Bucket. In this paper, We propose the Burst Tokens Fill method that performs well in Leaky Bucket to control the average rate, peak rate, and burst size. This scheme show the improvement of performance. However, This method does not apply all area of applications. Especially application of on-off shape is appropriate and the other area must need to care for appling this scheme.
Engine Technology Design of On-line 3D Game

The process of developing a online 3D game engine involves designing details of the engine, alpha test, adjustment, supplementation, beta test and introduction, and an online 3D game engine is made of a server engine and client engine. The server engine, which is made of server construction part, distribution center and DB construction part for building asymmetric multiple servers, is developed by Linux, and the client engine, which is made of a graphic part, sound part, AI part and object management part, is developed by using DirectX in Windows, and it proposes an engine configuration and method based on 3D engine technology by analyzing the network technology, which is a common engine technology.

This paper explains the design and implementation of the EC_NH. EC_NH is a system that is suitable for detecting, sharing and recovering software error based on multimedia CSCW(Computer Supportes Cooperated Work). With error sharing system, a group cooperating users can share error applications. From the perspective of multimedia collaborative environment, an error application becomes another interactive presentation error is shared with participants engaged in a cooperative work. Our Digital Carousel enables user to share media objects through media synchronization mechanism. We implemented the Digital Carousel so that the users participated in collaborative work may refer shared media or error objects as the same view to others.
A Study of the Merging Layers of the Storage System for Flash-Based DBMS

Small computer systems such as mobile devices adopt NAND flash memories as their storage media. However, DBMS running on such systems are optimized to hard disks. When small computer systems use DBMS they usually use additional system layer, like FTL, that emulates flash memories as normal hard disks and DBMS cannot control flash memories directly. In this paper, we propose unified storage system that DBMS controls flash memories directly. We implemented the system in a real environment and proved the proposed system outperforms legacy systems.
A Study of Web Retrieval System for Children

As the library retrieval system grows on the web rapidly through the rapid popularization of the internet, specially, it is almost impossible for children-only to retrieve on the web. So, there are some problems, such as, providing the retrieving results with no relation to children library. In this paper, we are supposed to design and implement library information retrieval system to provide better relevant library information for children using 3D environment. It consists of PHP, APACHE and MYSQL databases. At first, web page which gathers documents on the web implemented PHP using 3D. At last, APACHE server return retrieving results for user query using PHP.
The Use of the Computer in Written Language

Current changes in the written language curriculum have lead to emphasis being placed on the process involved in writing rather than the product. Writing is being viewed as a means of exploration, with text being manipulated in revision until a clear message is conveyed. This study focuses on the use of the computer in written language, as a tool to facilitate learning, increase interaction and alter children's attitudes. Some children from a local primary school participated in a project which gave them access to a computer and guidance during the process of revision. Evaluation of this study showed a two-fold effect. Firstly the writing behaviors of the children developed with their increased involvement in the process. For example, the children began to read what they had written thereby independently evaluating the content. Secondly, arising from this, as a sense of control over their writing was gained the children's attitudes towards writing became more positive.
The Game Engine Architecture for free game experience based on a storyline

A game engine should have the architecture that can manage various interactions between entities in a game for offering users various game experience. For this purpose, the game engine architecture based on message system is used. But only by this message based system, it is difficult to change game world continuously according to some storylines. The reason of this is event-driven system like message based system is appropriate for processing individual message but is not appropriate for processing more bigger logical work unit. For this purpose this paper proposes the storyline entity. The storyline entity has logical flows for a storyline and is called by engine continuously. By this proposed game engine architecture he or she can maintain free game experience by message based system and can add some progressing of storylines.
The application of Levels and Curves for the tonal correction of archaeological images

In the study of Art History and Archaeology, the paintings, sculptures, relief, and applied arts provide a vivid description of religious and historical events and everyday life. Through these descriptions it is possible to gain a greater understanding of things such as the customs, culture, and architectural styles of that period. However, if Art History and Archaeological images are very old, distorted or underexposed, it is difficult to analyze them. Using Levels and Curves is one way to tonally correct professional photographs. It is an effective method for tonal correction because of the exact numeric values which are calculated and displayed as the image is adjusted. In this paper, the usefulness of this method for correcting a distorted archaeological image was examined.
Adaptive Cryptographic Protocol for Fair Exchange of Secrets using Pseudo-Random-Sequence Generator

In this paper, I propose an adaptive cryptographic protocol which is basic protocol for fair exchange of secrets. For this, I investigate the verifiable oblivious transfer protocol based on discrete logarithm problem proposed by Lein Harn etc. And I propose a new adaptive cryptographic protocol that has the additional funtions on the existing method. This proposed method has the additional functions that enable to authenticate sender and to protect denial of what he/she has sent message to the other. To do this, I make use of bit commitment scheme using pseudo-random sequence generator.
