In this study, the term of investigation was tow months(May and Jun. 1992), the object was 10's∼50's women, and the sampling of them at random contain 100 person, respectively. The data-treatment was determinded by frequency, percentage, SD, Chi-square, Spearman's rank order correlation coefficient, Correlation, F-test as measured by SAS program for PC and statistical figures were obtained by GDAS. The results were as follows; 1. Food color in diet habits. : The relationship of food color with appetite by age group was showed to affect all age groups having more then 90%. The concern for food color by age group showed the lowst teenage having 56.7%, showing more then 70% except teenage. When chosen food, The most important characteristics of food was not age group but taste. In the correlation between characteristics, The correlation between color and form, taste and nutrition was showed affirmative. The difference test for the taste of food color and general color was shown, and the level of significance was chosen at 95%. 2. In the correlation between food color and the sense of emotion, The food color of depression and solitude was purple, the color of sadness and crying was white. But in case of only solitude, A statistical significance was shown. 3. Effect of Fabric Softner on the Absorbency, Stiffness and Antistatic Properties of Fabrics.
Journal of the Korean Home Economics Association , volume 31, issue 2, 1993, Pages 189~203
The objective of this study was to investigate the changes of the fabric absorbency, stiffness and antistatic property by using a fabric softner at laundering. The samples selected in this study were cotton and polyester fabrics. The cotton fabric was treated with 1/2 times(0.035%), 1 time(0.07%), 3 times(0.21%) and 10 times(0.7%) of the commercially suggested concentration (0.07%) of the fabric softner. And polyester fabric was done at 1 time(0.07%) of that. In order to examine the effect of the fabric by using a fabric softner, the abstraction of a surface active agent and quantitative analysis was performed by using a UV/VIS Spectroscopy and the correlations among the absorbency, stiffness and antistatic property was analyzed. The results obtained from this study were as follows; 1. In the cotton fabric, fabric softner gave the degradation of absorbency, and stiffness improvement was not shown by repeated fabric softner on the cotton fabric. 2. In the polyester fabric, the absorbency increased and the stiffness in creased very slightly. Specially, it is desirable to use fabric softner on the polyester due to improvement of antistatic property.

- Studies on the Maildew Proofing of Silk Fabrics by Growth of Aspergillus fumigatus and Penicillum citrinum -
Journal of the Korean Home Economics Association , volume 31, issue 2, 1993, Pages 213~219
Aspergillus fumigatus(AF) and Penicillum citrinum(PC) were selected for their strong abilities to produce protease. The result are summarized as follows; 1. The λd numerical values of the silk fabrics with AF and PC were 560 and 580 nm for the both stains of molds. 2. By the growth of molds, lightness, original color scale, and grey scale of the fabrics gradually decreased while chroma increased. 3. The minimum inhibitory concentrations of mold proofing agents, such as Leperon WL, 8-hydroxyquinoline copper acetates, trimethylol melamine and dimethly ethylene urea was 50 ppm. 4. Glycoxale was not effective at the abovely concentration. Since Leperon WL, dimethyl ethylene urea effectively inhibited the growth of PC silk, tensile strengh and elongation of the fabrics were not changed.
