The mean energy and nutrients intake, anthropometric parameters and plasma lipid levels were all in normal range. In females, the fat and protein intake, the amount and percents to total energy intake, had positive association with the plasma total lipid, but the energy percent from carbohydrate intake was correlated negatively. The Study on Brassiere Size Charts in Adult Women
Journal of the Korean Home Economics Association , volume 33, issue 6, 1995, Pages 199~211
The purpose of this study was to provide a brassiere size chart for making the well-fitted brassiere. The subjects are 2811 women whose range of age is 12 to 59. These woman were classified into 5 age groups by seniority ; age group 1(12~19), age group 2(20~29), age group 3(30~39), age group 4(40~49), age group 5(50~59). statistical differences of measurements were analyzed among 5 age groups through ANOVA. Correlation between measurements were analyzed by correlation analysis. In addition, new brassiere size chart and production rate tables were proposed in this study. The results of the study were as follows. 1) Most of the body measurements were significantly different among 5 age groups. The height was decreasing by getting older while weight was increasing significantly. The 3 girth measurements(top bust, bust, under bust girth) in breast, bust width, bust depth were apt to increase definitely. The 3 girth measurements had high Correlation coefficients among 3 girth mesurements. Therefore, it is valid to pick out cup size and under bust girth for representative items of size chart. 2) Under bust girth and cup size were chosen as 2 axes of brassiere size chart. From the dual distribution table whose intervals had been determined by KS size chart, 17 sizes, which had more than 2% of appearance, were suggested for brassiere size chart. Through these new size charts, the suggested brassiere sizes covered 82.5% of all subjects. The suggested brassiere size chart would be more helpful than KS size chart in making the well-fitted brassiere.

The average score of their nutritional knowledge was 6.08 (the highest mark was 10.00). The nutrition knowledge score of the elderly live with spouse was higher than those live alone and goes up according to the education degree of elderly and pocket money. The correct answer ratio about a question of geriatric diseases was somewhat higher than another question. 2. The average score of their food behavior was 21.90(the highest mark was 33.00) and the score of the female was higher than that of the male and the college-educated elderly have the highest score. Generally their food behavior was improved by the increasing intake of animal protein and milk. 3. The average score of their nutritional attitude was 11.25 (the highest mark was 15.00) and those of 70~74 age old have the lowest score. And they answered that they are willing to change their food behavior for their health. In this study we expect that the authorities would operate the nutritional education for the prevention of degenerative diseases and the development of the food behavior at a public health center or another groups(no-in-jung) as a part of service for the welfare of elderly. 4. Journal of the Korean Home Economics Association , volume 33, issue 6, 1995, Pages 225~244
The purpose of this study is to see difference based on age, sex, sociometric ststus for perceived competence of children and difference about perception of responsibilities degree of parents of these children. the content of study as follows. 1. How is the difference about perceived competence of children based on age, sex, sociometric status. 2. How is the difference about perception of responsibilities of children based on age, sex, sociometric status. 3. How is the relationship between father and mother. The subject of this study is children and their parents of 126 persons of the third grade, sixth grade of S elementary school, the second grade of S middle school, the second grade of S girls' middle school which are located in Pusan city. This study used a peer nomination among sociometric assesment method as sociolity assessment means, self-perception profile for children of Harter(1985) as perceived competence assessment means of children and used self-perception profile for children which amends fits for parents. the collected data are managed by SPSS/PC+ program. We analyze three-way ANOVA to verify study question No, one, two, analyze t-verification and Pearson's product moment correlations to verify study question No. three. The result of this study as follows. First, in investigating difference about perceived compretence of children based on age, sex, sociometric status, we can see that children perceive high, self-ability for low ages. Also, boys than girls, popular children than rejected children, neglected children perceive high self-ability. Second, in investigating difference about perception of responsibilities of children based on age, sex, sociometric status, we can see that mother perceive responsibilities in learning sphere, exercise sphere, the whole self-value sphere and father perceive responsibility only in social sphere. Third, in investigating relation between perception of responsibilities of father and mother, this shows that difference between perception of responsibilities of father and mother is not showed ane have (+) interrelation of r=.46(P<.001) between perception of responsibilities of father and perception of responsibilities of mother.
Fatty Acid Composition and Lipid Oxidation of Commercial Deep-fat Fried Foods in Kangreung
Journal of the Korean Home Economics Association , volume 33, issue 6, 1995, Pages 245~253
The purpose of this study was to investigate the fatty acid composition and the rancidity of commercial deep-fat fried foods in Kangreung. the 7 kinds of samples were purchased form snack corners in 3 markets at AM 10 and PM 6 o'clock. The acid value, peroxide value and TBA value of the deep-fat fried foods were determined and the fatty acid composition were analyzed. The range of acid value was 0.45∼1.79, that of peroxide value was 1.24∼8.64meq/㎏,and that of TBA value was 12∼140 in all samples. There was significant difference in most of all samples by purchasing time and kinds of samples. But there was not specific tendency by purchasing times in each sample. Most of the acid value, peroxide value and TBA value of the samples fried with meats or sea foods showed higher value than the that of samples fried with vegetables or seaweeds. The fatty acid composition of the total lipids in the deep-fat fried foods were similar to one another. The major fatty acids were linoleic acid(C18 : 2) , oleic acid(C18 : 1) in order of content. Minor fatty acids were palmitic acid(C16 :0), linolenic acid(C18 : 3), stearic acid (C18 : 0) in order of content. the P/S ratio was the range of 2.12/1∼4.71/1 and the that of the samples fried with meats was the highest among samples. so there was the same tendency in this result between the chemical properties(acid value, peroxide value, TBA Value) and fatty acid composition. As a result of acid value and peroxide value in this study, the commercial deep-fat fried foods in Kangreung was safety.
