The Customer Satisfaction and loyalty of Salespersons Working at Apparel Store - For the high school students in Daegu area -

The purpose of this study was to identify importance of salesperson's selling behavior's such as orientation and loyalty. A total of 350 questionnaires was distributed to high school students in the city of Daegu area and 306 respondents were used for the statistical analysis. The primary methods of the statistical analysis employed in this thesis to test the hypotheses were factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation, and linear regression. SPSS package program was used to analyze the data. The results are as follows：1. Customers felt dissatisfaction at salesperson's selling-orientation and felt satisfaction at customer-orientation when they buy the clothes. The salesperson's selling behavior was connected with customer's satisfaction directly, and was very important to retail market 2. The customer satisfaction of salesperson shows meaningful relation and has influenced on salesperson loyalty as well as customer satisfaction of store. But the customer satisfaction of salesperson has not influenced on store loyalty. 3. The customer satisfaction of store shows meaningful relation and has influenced on store loyalty, but not on salesperson loyalty. 4. The salesperson loyalty shows meaningful relation with and has influenced on store loyalty. The more salesperson loyalty increases, the more store loyalty increases. Accordingly, it is concluded that the future success of firms and retailers depends on the quality of the relationship between customers and salespersons.
Suggestions for Fashion Marketing Strategy Based on a Study of Adolescents′ Body Image and Clothing Behavior by the Age and Gender

This study was designed (1) to examine adolescents' body cathexis, ideal body image, clothing behavior, and clothing purchasing behavior, and (2) to identify gender and age differences. Descriptive statistics, Chi-Square (
) analysis, Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), and Duncan-Test were employed to analyze the data collected from the convenience sample of 729 middle- and high-school students in Gyeongnam, Korea. Adolescents tended to be dissatisfied with their body, while female high school students' dissatisfactory degrees were higher The ideal body image was thinner than normal, and neither gender nor age differences were observed. Adolescents showed higher dependences compared to other clothing behaviors including conformity, fashion, popularity, brand, and exhibition, and gender and age differences were observed. Fit/comfort and clothing displayed in store were most important evaluative criterion and information search method. Adolescents tended to prefer shopping in department store with friends or parents in less than 3 hours. Gender and age differences were observed in those clothing purchasing behavior. Marketing strategies generated from the results of this study were suggested.

A study on Disposal of Food Waste and Fooa Service Management by Elementary School Lunch Program Manager in Seoul and Incheon

The purpose of this study was to investigate the status of school lunch program managers' disposal of food waste and food service management in elementary school lunch program. Questionaries were distributed to 243 school lunch program managers of elementary schools in Seoul and Incheon area. The statistical analysis of data was completed using SPSS program. The results were summarized as follows. The average score of school lunch program managers' environmental conservation consciousness was slightly high, which was found to be 4.0. Most food waste was mainly vegetables. The primary recycling methods of leftovers from the school food service operations were to using them as livestock feed(84.7％). The best way of food waste treatment recognized by school lunch program managers' was utilizing it as fodder for animals or fertilizer(54.1％). The average score that school lunch program managers' achieved in terms of food nice management considering environmental conservation was 3.8. The school lunch managers' opinions imposing environmental regulation on the corresponding firm was very strict. Based on the observed results, several recommendations are suggested：practical food management guideline and its related proper information, foodbank program.
The effect of practical reasoning Home Economics instruction on morality of middle school students

The purpose of this study was to develop lesson plans and teaching materials applying practical reasoning instruction for the 7th home economics curriculum content, and to test the effect of practical reasoning instruction on morality of middle school students. This study is a quasi-experimental research with a pretest-posttest design. Practical reasoning instruction for experimental group and traditionally lecture oriented instruction for comparison group were input, and tested the statistical differences between two groups before and after the treatment. The subjects for this study were 8th grade students of a middle school located in Kwangju city. Two classes of 76 students homogeneous in characteristics and academic record for each experimental and comparison group were assigned. Instrument used for this study was a revised moral indicator, that was developed by KEDI(2001). Spss/win for 10.0 statistics program was used for analysis of data. ANCOVA was done for testing statistical difference between pretest and posttest of experiment group and comparison group. Result of study which showed statistically significant difference between groups were：1. Virtue of "responsibility for words and deeds"(from 3.22 to 3.61 for experimental group and from 3.27 to 3.26 for comparison group) in domain of responsibility and cooperation, and virtue of "punctuality"(from 3.59 to 3.76 for experimental group and from 3.41 to 3.28 for comparison group) in domain of trustworthiness, 2. Virtue of "conversation etiquette"(from 3.47 to 3.67 for experimental group and from 3.28 to 3.31 for comparison group) in domain of caring for others, 3. Virtue of "forgiveness other′s mistakes"(from 3.32 to 3.65 for experimental group and from 3.33 to 3.25 for comparison group) in domain of kindness, concession, forgiveness, and virtue of "volunteering activity"(from 2.89 to 3.71 for experimental group and from 3.36 to 3.45 for comparison group) in domain of compassion and service, 4. Virtue of "equip the convenient facility for handicapped"(from 4.19 to 4.29 for experimental group and from 4.17 to 3.91 for comparison group) in domain of equality and human rights, virtue of "recovering selfness for own community"(from 2.34 to 2.79 for experimental group and from 2.14 to 2.29 for comparison group), virtue of "opposing way of accomplishing purpose by an means"(from 3.27 to 3.31 for experimental group and from 3.47 to 3.05 for comparison group), virtue of "opposing election of considering acquaintance"(from 3.35 to 3.56 for experimental group and from 3.12 to 3.14 for comparison group) in domain of fairness, and virtue of "eradication of military force or violence among countries"(from 3.49 to 3.57 for experimental group and from 3.38 to 3.05 for comparison group) in domain of love for humanity. The morality of experimental group was improved more than that of comparison group in all of above items. From the results of this study, following conclusion was drawn. Practical reasoning instruction in home economics is effective in raising students′ virtue and value of responsibility in words and deeds, trustworthiness in punctuality, courtesy of not interrupting conversation, forgiveness of other′s mistakes, volunteering activity, equity for handicapped, fairness opposing selfness for own community, fairness opposing way of accomplishing purpose by all means, fairness opposing election of considering acquaintance, and love for humanity opposing war.
An Study on the Current State of Divorce Negotiations and Major Related Variables

The purpose of this study was to investigate the current state of divorce negotiations and to identify major variables associated with positive divorce negotiations. Survey research was conducted on 182 men and 246 women residing in Daegu Metropolitan city area who had divorced between July 1999 and June 2002 with at least one child at the time of divorce. In conclusion, it was found that divorce negotiations are more influenced by the characteristics, natures and resources of the subjects than by the nature of issues being negotiated. The study findings' implications for research and practice were also discussed.
The Relationship between Fathers′ Marital Satisfaction, Child Rearing Attitude and Children′s Social Competence

This study investigated the relationship between fathers' marital satisfaction, child rearing attitude and children's social competence. The subjects of this study were 274 fathers of 4-5 year old children who enrolled in kindergartens located in Seoul and metropolitan areas. Data was analyzed using the following methods：frequency, percentage, mean, Pearson's correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis and Cronbach's
. As a result of this study, it was revealed that there were a significant relationship between the marital satisfaction and child rearing altitude of fathers and the social competence of children. However, this study showed that the child rearing attitude rather than the marital satisfaction of fathers was the more influential on the social competence of children.
The Strategies of Consumers to Resist their Buying Impulse

It's very important to control their buying impulse for consumers surrounding in the very aggressive marketing strategies and materialistic socio-economic system. This study was to explore consumer's strategies to resist their buying impulses. The results from content analysis of interview data show various strategies and very similar to the self-control strategies of literature. The pre-stage strategies to resist buying impose were avoidances marketing strategies, pre-commitments, searching informations and bringing shopping lists and etc. The post-stage strategies were suspicions about marketing messages, considerations of negative outcomes, postponements, economic cost assessments, substitutions and etc. Developments and assessments of education programs to enhance consumer's self-control were needed.
Development and Evaluation of Consumer′s Educational Program in Using Credit Card

This study aims to develop an educational program in using credit card for undergraduate students. In order to achieve this aim, a processor has been followed. first of all, a fundamental work to select the educational contents was Preceded with a survey of learners' needs, case studies of counselling at Consumer Protection Board, and preceding studies. After choice of educational contents, learners' demands on how to manage the educational program was executed in advance. Second, reflecting the above mentioned educational contents, a concrete educational program was built. Based on the constructed plans, both preliminary training and main training were proceeded. Third, to evaluate the effects of the educational program, the knowledge difference, behaviors and attitude changes were all diagnosed. The result suggested that the educational effect was significant in all evaluations section. At last, final program of using credit cards was completed.
A Study on the Adult Women′s Purchasing Behavior of Cosmetics Based on the Lifestyle

This study was aimed to classify the consumer group according to the lifestyle, to research the characteristics and desire of the each group, and to find out the differences of the purchasing behavior of cosmetics among each group. After surveying, 611 samples were analyzed by using SPSS package program. The results of this study were as follows；1. We obtained 5 factors from 21 items by using AIO lifestyle measurement. Those 5 factors were personalityㆍmake-up preference, arance-oriented, economy and information-oriented, daily make-up, and interest in make-up. 2. We formed 4 groups from the 5 factors. Which are a make-up oriented group, a consciously daily make-up group, a unconcern of make-up group, and a resonable make-up pursuit group. 3. The demographic characteristics of each lifestyle group showed important differences according to the following variables; age, marital status, occupation, academic career and monthly averaged income. 4. We analyzed the purchase behavior, the purchase motive of make-up, the brand of cosmetics, the reason for preferring company, purchase information, product store, the reason for choosing store, important considering points, monthly averaged purchase cost. As a result, its variance showed the difference among groups.
Family-Related Variables Affecting Adolescents′ School Life Maladjustment

The researcher worked with 1001 middle and high school students so as to inquire into family-related variables affecting adolescents' school life maladjustment, relying on average, standard deviation and hierarchical regression. The following are the major findings. 1) The research shows that to look into school life maladjustment on the basis of analysis models including family environment variables and family relationship variables in addition to family background variables offers more explanatory power. 2) Of all the variables, parent relationship variables turned out to have the greatest influences on maladjustment to teacher relationship and teaming activity areas among the subordinate areas of school life maladjustment. 3) Of all the variables, family's physical variables have the greatest influence on maladjustment to regulation-keeping relationship and opposite sex relationship among the subordinate areas of school life maladjustment. 4) Of all the variables, sibling relationship variables have the greatest influence on maladjustment to friendship among the subordinate areas of school life maladjustment. 5) Parent relationship variables have the greatest influence on total school life maladjustment followed by family physical environment, structural environment, the number of family members, cultural environment and residential variables in the right order.
A Study on Housewives′ Pro-Environmental Behavior and it′s Determinants in Urban Area

The purpose of this study were (1) to examine the level of housewives' pro- environmental behavior, and (2) to analyze the effect of the selected variables on pro-environmental behavior 941 sample were selected from housewives living in urban area. For the analysis of data, frequencies, means, one-way ANOVA, DMR test, Chi-square test, and multiple regression analysis were used. The major findings were as follows：1. The level of housewives' pro-environmental behavior was lower than that of pro-environmental attitude. 2. The level of housewives' pro-environmental behavior was mainly affected by their environment-related variables, for example, pro-environmental attitude, and experience of environmental education. Most of socio-demographic variables and family-related variables didn't have significant effects on the level of pro-environmental behavior.
A Study on Design of Aged Small Scale Institutional Household

This study is to design aged institutional household on a small scale, also the purpose of this study is to provide basic material for management of small scale institutional household and policy establishment that could help the aged well-being. Design of research is accomplished after the review of related literatures. The propositions of design are 3s follows; region：seoul suburbs(2 hours' distance) building：fourth stories(The building-to-land ratio 25％, capacious ratio 100％, in environmental affinity.) object：75 years and over aged 15 women cost：deposit and living month expenses contract between the manager and the desired occupant or concerned family term of validity：As long as occupant want.
The Effect of Antecedents on Maternal Parenting Behaviors

The purpose of this study is to investigate what antecedents and how much these antecedents have an effect on mother's parenting behaviors. The subjects of this study are 251 mothers who have child 3 to 6 year old in Daegu and Kyugbook province. The data are analysed through frequency, percentile, mean, standard deviation, Cronbach's α, Pearson's correlation coefficient, multiple regression analysis, and hierarchical regression analysis. The major findings of this study are as follows：First, child's sex, temperament, and behavior problem, mother's parenting self-efficacy, and marital satisfaction and satisfaction of social support affect maternal affectionate parenting behavior. Second, child's temperament, mother's personality and parenting self-efficacy, and satisfaction of social support affect maternal control parenting behavior Third, mother's variables, especially parenting self-efficacy, have great effect on maternal affectionate parenting behavior than any other variables have. Forth, mother's variables, especially personality and efficacy of parenting, have great effect on maternal control parenting behavior than any other variables have.
North Korean Female Defectors′ Voices II：The Lived Experiences Focused on Survival Strategies in China

The purpose of this study is to understand North Korean female defectors' survival strategies in China. In this research, 13 female defectors in China were interviewed. There seemed to be 6 survival strategies in the interview. They disguised themselves as if they were Chosunjok；they tried to wear fashionable clothes, to mimic Chosunjok dialect, to speak mingling Chinese words with Korean words, and to get counterfeit ID cards. They suppressed themselves from showing their angers or resentment against Chinese who looked down on them due to their illegal status, but they would seek chances to revenge on them in the future. They have survived by gelling married to Chinese, but they were reluctant to have a baby because it was not for sure what their future lives are going to be like. They were alert against people around them all the time, especially against North Korean defectors, and were conscious of their competitive relationship among themselves. Finally, some of them appeared to seek routes to immigrate to South Korea, but others who didn't yet make up their minds to immigrate to South Korea had vague anticipations of North and South Koreas to be reunified.
An Analysis of Metaplay Strategies in Preschoolers′ Social Pretend Play

This study examined young children's metaplay. 84 preschool subjects were videotaped as they engaged in pretend play with the same-aged peers. Dyads were identified as engaging in frequent or infrequent pretend play. Results showed that frequent pretend play dyads more engaged in request for clarification, and persuading than infrequent pretend dyads. Frequent pretend dvads were more likely to use disagreeing with reason and extending. It was concluded that developmentally useful interactions transpire outside of the pretend frame.
A study on Motives and Tendency of Purchasing Jewelry in Middle-aged Wives：Comparison of the Forties and More than the Fifties

The purpose of this study was to compare motives and tendency of purchasing jewelry between the forties and more than the fifties in middle-aged wives. The data was collected from 460 middle-aged wives living in Busan, from April 1 to May 31 in 2000. The results were as follows：Attitudes toward purchasing showed past-positive, thrifty attitude. Pursuit of beauty had the highest score among the various buying motives. Deficiency of stock and stock dissatisfaction ranked the second. Wives who are more than the fifties showed higher score in motives and preference of buying jewelry than wives in the forties.
