SPSS version 10.0 was used for data analysis. The scores of F, Hs, D, Pd, Pa, Pt, Sc of the MMPI scales showed that there were statistically significant differences between computer addicted adolescents and non-addicted adolescents. The rate of addicted adolescents was significantly higher than that of non-addicted adolescent in psychological problematic score ranges in the scales. The characteristics of the scores of computer addiction adolescents were similar to those of alcohol and drug addicts in the scales of D, Pd, and Pt. This survey revealed that the psychological disorders suffered by computer addiction adolescents may cause more serious social problems than alcohol and drug addicts.

, simple regression and multiple regression analysis by using SPSS/PC WIN. The findings were as follows. First, the mean score of the availability of life information was 3.21. Journal of the Korean Home Economics Association , volume 43, issue 7, 2005, Pages 67~77
The purpose of this study was to survey the concern for nutrition and the degree of nutritional knowledge of elementary school children's parents and their perception on the eating habits of their children. This study also investigated the effects of the concern for nutrition and the nutritional knowledge on the eating habits of their children. The questionnaire was answered by 383 mothers and fathers in the Kyonggi area. The general nutritional attitude and the perception of their children's eating habits were represented by frequencies and analyzed tv chi-square test, and Fisher's exact test. The difference of nutritional knowledge was represented tv mean and S.D. and was analyzed by one-way ANOVA test. Statistical significance was tested at the 0.05 level. The main results of the study are summarized as follows. 1) Parents had a comparatively deep concern for nutrition and a high level of knowledge. With increasing concern for nutrition, nutritional knowledge tended to be better and the higher proportion of participation in the nutritional education program increased. 2) The majority
of the subjects thought that the eating habit of their children was not appropriate. The subjects had relatively high recognition about their children's eating habits and pointed out the unbalanced diet, snacks, and skipping a meal among their children's eating habits. Nevertheless, there were no significantly differences among the concern for nutrition of the parents and perception on their children's eating habits. As the parents' nutritional attitude, concern for nutrition, and nutritional knowledge can affect the children's eating habits, tire suggest that schools open nutritional education programs for parents in order to acquire proper food and nutrition information, and that schools and homes should be more closely connected.

The data were collected from 481 college students in Busan and Kyungnam areas by a self-administered questionnaire. Frequencies, Cronbach's alpha, factor analysis Pearson's correlation analysis and regression analyses were conducted by SPSS WINDOWS. The results from this study were as follows. first, the mean of preparation for the future was the highest among 5 dimensions of money attitudes, whereas the mean of the ostentatious means was the lowest. In addition, the college students showed good practices in drawing up shopping lists, budgeting, and keeping receipts, but bad practices in short-term and long-term planning. Second, many factors such as gender, grade, mother's education, fathers' occupation, and mothers' occupation were significant in the regression analyses for the financial management behaviors. Especially, money attitudes and experience of consumer education were significant in many categories of financial management behaviors. In combination, these results suggest that financial management education for college students should be conducted, and that contents related to value should be included in the education program.

Journal of the Korean Home Economics Association , volume 43, issue 7, 2005, Pages 109~116
Using buffer solutions, consisting of pH 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8, silk fiber fabric specimens, pre-mordanted with one of the mordanting agents, Sn, Al, Cu, Cr, and Fe, were dyed using cochineal dyestuff. The color of the dyed silk fabric specimens was predominantly red(R) for the acidic range of pH 4 and 5, and predominantly purple(RP) for the neutral range of pH 6,7, with 8, with the pH boundary differentiating between the shades being between pH 5 and 6. As a general trend, the chroma value decreased as the pH changed from acid to alkali, and the highest chroma value us attained between pH 4 and 5. Regardless of the mordanting conditions, the trend was that
showed the highest measured value in the acidic range of pH 4 and 5, and it dropped abruptly after the pH 6.
