A Utility Interactive Photovoltaic Generation System using PWM Converter

Since the residential load is an AC load and the output of solar cell is DC power, the photovoltaic system needs the DC/AC converter to utilize solar cell. In case of driving to interact with utility line, in order to operate at unity power factor, converter must provide the sinusoidal wave current and voltage with same phase of utility line. Since output of solar cell is greatly fluctuated by insolation, it is necessary that the operation of solar cell output in the range of the vicinity of maximum power point. In this paper, DC/AC converter is three phase PWM converter with smoothing reactor. And then, feed-forward control used to obtain a superior characteristic for current control and digital PLL circuit used to detect the phase of utility line.
Design of a Robust Adaptive Backstepping Controller for a Chaos System with Disturbances

In this paper, an robust adaptive backstepping controller is proposed for the chaos system with disturbances. This controller will be applicable to the chaos system of strict-feedback form and utilize the saturation function for decreasing the effect of disturbances derived from unmodelled dynamics and external noise. It shows that backstepping algorithm can be used to solve the problems of nonlinear system very well and robust controller can be designed without the variation of adaptive law. Simulation results are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed controller.
Robust PID Controller Design using Sensitivity Function

In this paper we present a new PID controller design method using IMC design. The PID controller is derived based on the
-norm of sensitivity function to guarantee stability and performance robustness. This new PID controller is suitable for the plant with right half plane zeros or with time delay. The Simulation results show that the new method is superior to Ziegler-Nichols, Morari-Zafiriou, Mattezzoni-Rocco methods in respects in overshoot and settling time.
Analysis on the Operation Characteristics of Induction Motor Operated by Unbalanced Voltage with Harmonics Components

Most of the loads in industrial power distribution systems are usually balanced and connected to three power systems. However, in the user power distribution systems, partial loads are single & three phase and unbalanced, generating voltage unbalance by the impedance mismatching. Voltage unbalance has detrimental effects on three-phase induction motors, including over heating, line-current unbalance, derating, torque pulsation, low efficiency, etc. This paper presents a scheme on operation states of a three-phase induction motor under the unbalanced voltages with harmonics components. Three-phase voltages applied to the stator winding of the studied induction motor are controlled by respectively adjusting not only fundamental but also harmonics components. Harmonic components at the voltage unbalanced factor(VUF) of the three-phase source voltages can then be examined the different values of VUF on machine's operation characteristics.

In this paper, We are going to propose the fire protection system with using CAN(Controller Area Network). The larger, higher and deeper buildings are, the more dangerous people are when fire happens. We should be aware of the problems of prior fire protection system. Therefore, we construct embedded system based on CAN communication that is capable of N:N communication, and build independent fire protection system. If the fire is occurred on the building, the problem is that how fast we can detect the fire and put off it by using available system. this is major factor that reduces damage of our wealth. therefore in this studies We would like to design more stable system than current system. this system that is based on CAN communication which is available N:N communication constructs and is designed to compensate for each fault so that our aim is to reduce the line of system and cost of installation and to suppose future type fire protection system. We are simulated by NIST FDS(Fire Dynamics Simulator) to prove the efficiency of this system.
A Study on the Design of 16-Channel AWG Wavelength Division Multiplexer for Super High-Speed Optical Communication

Various methods for analyze optical components which are necessary before the fabrication of optical circuit component and as its applications, designing method of Wavelength Division Multiplexer(WDM) filter using arrayed-waveguide grating(AWG) is paper. Development of the Water Treatment System with High Performance Electromagnetic Field

This paper presents the water treatment system with high performance electromagnetic field for a good quality of water. The electromagnetic field water treater consists of a solion, a solion body, and a high voltage converter. The high voltage converter is controlled by PWM current controller. The high voltage converter of 13W is designed for an isolation operation amp, an isolation current detector, and an over current protector. Using the high voltage PWM converter, the system with the proposed electromagnetic field water treater can be controlled easily. Simulation and experimental results show the effectiveness of the system strategy proposed for the scale rejection.
