Design of Planar Modified Folded Loop Antennas for S-DMB band

In this paper, the planar type modified folded loop antennas for S-DMB band is proposed. The proposed antenna consisted of opened center of a conventional closed loop and folded terminal of microstrip line to inside loop antenna. The sizes proposed antenna was minimized by folding the terminal of the loop. Also, It was minimized reactance value by increasing capacitances between coupled microstrip line. Therefore the proposed antennas compacted about 20% than a conventional loop antenna and increased efficiency of antenna. The proposed antennas got an omni-directional pattern, the antenna gain was 3.67 [dBi] and the bandwidth was 900 MHz (2.6-3.56 GHz) with VSWR
2 from the simulated and the measured results. The frequency utilization coefficient was 29.9 %. These properties could satisfy the S-DMB band.
Multi Folded Dual rectangle loop Type Dual Monopole Antenna

In this paper, multi folded dual monopole antenna for WLAN communication of dual bend is designed and fabricated. The proposed multi folded dual monopole antenna are consisted of two folded rectangle loops by microstrip fed that is modified dual monopole antenna. Therefore, the outside rectangle loop structure of the proposed antenna is extended a dual monopole. The characteristics of the proposed antenna is analyzed return loss and radiation patterns by the FDTD tools. As a result a bandwidth of proposed antenna has about 0.82GHz from 2.0 to 2.82[GHz] and 0.7GHz from 5.46 to 6.16[GHz]. It is used WLAN communications of 2[GHz] and 5[GHz].
The Study on the Web-Based Analysis System of Oriental Pulse Waveform

This paper analyzes a web-based clinical management system and conducts research on the pulse. Pulse analysis and the clinical study management system proposed by the web-based research holds significance in that it improves the objectivity and accuracy of pulse diagnosis. In particular, exact data must be analyzed through the clinical interpretation of these studies. Eventually oriental pulse standardization work will be continuously sustained. The findings of this study will help achieve remote diagnosis and consultation and updating of database. Research must be expanded to the development of telemedicine technology to create u-Health that will lead this present era.

and Ar, have been analyzed over a range of the reduced electric field strength between 0.1 and 350[Td] by the two-term approximation of the Boltzmann equation (BEq.) method and the Monte Carlo simulation (MCS). The calculations of electron swarm parameters require the knowledge of several collision cross-sections of electron beam. Thus, published momentum transfer, ionization, vibration, attachment, electronic excitation, and dissociation cross-sections of electrons for
and Ar, were used. The results of the Boltzmann equation and the Monte Carlo simulation have been compared with the data presented by several workers. The deduced transport coefficients for electrons agree reasonably well with the experimental and simulation data obtained by Nakamura and Hayashi. The energy distribution function of electrons in
-Ar mixtures shows the Maxwellian distribution for energy. That is, f(
) has the symmetrical shape whose axis of symmetry is a most probably energy. The proposed theoretical simulation techniques in this work will be useful to predict the fundamental process of charged particles and the breakdown properties of gas mixtures.
Development of a Sensor-Based LED Lighting System with Low Standby Power

In this paper, we propose a sensor-based LED lighting system that can significantly reduce standby powers. The proposed LED lighting system has the more advanced power circuit and control mechanism compared to existing one. The whole power circuit consists of two subcircuits. One is designed to apply electric powers to controller, PIR(Pyroelectric Infrared Ray) sensor and CdS, and the other one is designed to apply electric powers to LED module. Such a power circuit configuration makes the standby powers reduction of LED lighting system possible. From the experimental results, we confirmed that the standby powers saving performance of the developed power circuit is superior to that of the conventional one.

The market of domestic Power Plant Generator Protection and Control System (GPCS) is narrow and required the high reliability, and technology. So, it is still operated as turn-key. In recent years, digital relays has evolved into IED can perform the control and monitoring functions without central monitoring based on IEC61850 international standards communications, and attention for advancement of smart grid and ECMS has been increased in South Korea. The increasing attention on multi-function IED, DGPS(digital generator protection system), for internal fault protection of large generator results in starting a national project in South Korea, the IED prototype development for next-generation power units. The voltage restrained overcurrent relay have been used as back-up overcurrent protection for generators. In this paper, voltage restrained overcurrent relay is one of the back-up protective factors in generator protection IED was presented. For evaluation performance of the voltage restrained overcurrent relay, the data of ATPDraw5.7p4 modeling was used.
Development of ELM based Load Modeling Method for Residential Loads

Due to the increasing of nonlinear loads such as converters and inverters connected to the electric power distribution system, and extensive application of harmonic generation sources with power electronic devices, disturbance of the electric power system and its influences on industries have been continuously increasing. Thus, it is difficult to construct accurate load model for active and reactive power in environments with harmonics. In this research, we develop a load modeling method based on Extreme Learning Machine(ELM) with fast learning procedure for residential loads. Using data sets acquired from various residential loads, the proposed method has been intensively tested. As the experimental results, we confirm that the proposed method makes it possible to effective estimate active and reactive powers than conventional methods.
Digital Ratio Differential Relaying for Main Protection of Large Generator

An AC generator is an important component in producing an electric power and so it requires highly reliable protection relays to minimize the possibility of demage occurring under fault conditions. It is a need for research of digital generator protection system(DGPS) for the next-generation ECMS and an efficient operation of protection control system in power station. However, most of protection and control system used in power plants have been still imported as turn-key and operated in domestic. This may cause the lack of the correct understanding on the protection systems and methods, and thus have difficulties in optimal operation. In this paper, presented ratio differential relaying(RDR) is main protective element in generator protection IED. The fault detection technique, operation zone and setting value of the RDR were studied and, compared with two of the fault detection algorithm. For evaluation performance of the RDR, the data obtained from ATPDraw5.7p4 modeling was used. The proposed methods are shown to be able to rapidly identify internal fault and did not operate a miss-operation for all the external fault.
A development of Diagnosis Monitoring System for UPS DC Link Capacitors using Zigbee Wireless Communication

Electrolytic power capacitors have been widely used in power conversion system such as inverter or UPS because of characteristics of large capacitance, high-voltage and low-cost. The electrolytic capacitor, which is most of the time affected by the aging effect, plays a very important role for the power-electronics system quality and reliability. Therefore it is important to diagnosis monitoring the condition of an electrolytic capacitor in real-time to predict the failure. In this paper, the on-line remote diagnosis monitoring system for UPS DC link electrolytic capacitors using low-cost single-chip zigbee communication modules is developed. To estimate the health status of the capacitor, the equivalent series resistor(ESR) of the component has to be determined. The capacitor ESR is estimated by using RMS computation using BPF modeling of DC link ripple voltage/current. Zigbee-based hardware experimental results show that the proposed remote capacitor diagnosis monitoring system can be applied to UPS successfully.

This paper presents implementation of SVPWM technique for three phase Voltage Source Inverter using FPGA. Software-based vector-control calculations much this drawback, in order to improve the hardware-vector-control tries. Without the need for additional software, vector control algorithm is designed to be modular SOPC, and DSP will reduce most of the operations. In this paper, the SVPWM that using HDL for the AC motor vector control algorithm level, and the dead time part and the speed control in order to controled a speed detector and designed in the form of modules. Then ALTERA corporation Cyclone III series EP3C16F484 can be verified by implemented.
The Study about Variation of Physiology Signal based on EEG due to Variation of Illumination

By using EEG and HRV, subjects were estimated on their psychological and physiological reaction when reading psychrometric chart in 7 point century font, in an environmental test room in the condition of temperature 25[
], relative humidity 50[RH%], air current speed 0.02[m/sec], giving variation in illuminance to 0.1, 300, 600, 1000, 1300 and 1600[lux]. As a result, it was at 1300[lux] that absolute
wave, SMR, SDNN were most vitalized, and also both sides
wave asymmetry index, SEF50, HRT, stress and fatigue degree were at the lowest. It was found that a certain illuminance which minimizes psychological stress and fatigue degree while enhancing concentration and task achievement stably does exist.
