Journal of Digital Convergence, volume 13, issue 6, 2015, Pages 1~12
DOI : 10.14400/JDC.2015.13.6.1
In recent years, the privacy concern for mobile consumers is emerging as the use of mobile application(apps) is growing according to the rapid spread of mobile devices such as smart phones and tablet PCs. To improve privacy protections in the mobile communications and apps, overseas organizations are announcing guidelines and/or checklists for stake holders. Although personal information protection guidelines for application developers have been prepared in the country, efforts to improve consumer privacy capability is insufficient. Thus, in this paper we first scope the app privacy related guidelines in both domestic and foreign affairs, then present the risk factors of privacy invasion by the stage of mobile application use based on the "Privacy Protection Act", offering privacy checklists for consumers. This checklist will enhance the self-management capability of consumer privacy and create virtuous cycle in the mobile ecosystem.

In accordance with importance of the economic value of forests and forest use, the paradigm of development and use has emerged as the dominant paradigm of forest policy. As forests are recognized as an important means of Wellness, the government pursues a policy convergence between forest use and conservation. So, this article analyzed whether the change of forestry convergence paradigm is reflected in policy or not. The purpose of this study was to analyze through content analysis and network analysis, whether the new combined text value are fused in how forest policy. According to the results, the function of utilization which is off the traditional forestry industry and recreation, wellness are acquired a greater importance in the 5th plan than 4th plan. But the 5th plan is insufficient to establish of foundation for forestry management and welfare functions. The evidence suggest a sign of sustained paradigm convergency in forest policy of Korea. As the policy implication in establishing national forest master plan, it is necessary to strengthen policy capability to pursue sustainable forestry utilization, which can converge forest use and conservation.

Journal of Digital Convergence, volume 13, issue 6, 2015, Pages 151~156
DOI : 10.14400/JDC.2015.13.6.151
In this paper, we have proposed personal multimodal biometric authentication system based on face detection, recognition and speaker verification for smart-phone environment. Proposed system detect the face with Modified Census Transform algorithm then find the eye position in the face by using gabor filter and k-means algorithm. Perform preprocessing on the detected face and eye position, then we recognize with Linear Discriminant Analysis algorithm. Afterward in speaker verification process, we extract the feature from the end point of the speech data and Mel Frequency Cepstral Coefficient. We verified the speaker through Dynamic Time Warping algorithm because the speech feature changes in real-time. The proposed multimodal biometric system is to fuse the face and speech feature (to optimize the internal operation by integer representation) for smart-phone based real-time face detection, recognition and speaker verification. As mentioned the multimodal biometric system could form the reliable system by estimating the reasonable performance.

Park, In-Kyu ;
Journal of Digital Convergence, volume 13, issue 6, 2015, Pages 157~164
DOI : 10.14400/JDC.2015.13.6.157
An efficient retrieval of useful information is a prerequisite of an optimal decision making system. Hence, A research of data mining techniques finding useful patterns from the various forms of data has been progressed with the increase of the application of Big Data for convergence and integration with other industries. Each technique is more likely to have its drawback so that the generalization of retrieving useful information is weak. Another integrated technique is essential for retrieving useful information. In this paper, a uncertainty measure of information is calculated such that algebraic probability is measured by Bayesian theory and then information entropy of the probability is measured. The proposed measure generates the effective reduct set (i.e., reduced set of necessary attributes) and formulating the core of the attribute set. Hence, the optimal decision rules are induced. Through simulation deciding contact lenses, the proposed approach is compared with the equivalence and value-reduct theories. As the result, the proposed is more general than the previous theories in useful decision-making.

Methods to design programs which implement IT systems have been developed in various forms from flowchart to activity diagram of UML. However, program design tools and methods developed so far have not been efficient comparing to program coding tools and methods. In addition, Program design methods and tools developed until now have been difficult to support the bidirectional conversion between program design and coding, and the improvement of development productivity and maintainability. Therefore, in this study, we propose Convergence Development Method to enable working with wide bandwidth through fusing the program design and coding phase by using SOC and supporting tool named SETL which automatizes the convergence of design and coding. Thus, by using SETL, it is expected that the efficiency gap between the program design and coding phase is reduced, and development productivity and maintainability is increased. key words.

Among the death attitude, both of the nurses and the nursing students had the highest score 'fear of their own dying' and the lowest score 'fear of the dying of others'. Regarding attitude to euthanasia, both of them the most important factor was 'the right of the client'. These results suggest that death education program to deal with nursing services without ethical conflicts should be developed.
Limitations of neurobiological approach convergent to neuropsychiatry: DCD and two visual systems theory
Lee, Young-Lim ;
Journal of Digital Convergence, volume 13, issue 6, 2015, Pages 225~234
DOI : 10.14400/JDC.2015.13.6.225
Neurobiological approach helps to resolve the mind-body dualism and develop new assessment and treatment approaches in psychiatry. However, it could be a problem to place too much emphasis on certain aspects of neurobiology, specifically structural neuroanatomy, because of the complexity or comorbidity of neuropsychiatric disorders. Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD), for instance, is generally related to problems in motor skills and this movement disability is often related to perception. One account, two visual systems theory, relied on functional distinction in brain; ventral stream is responsible for visual recognition, and dorsal stream is responsible for the guidance of actions. However, Studies are now showing that shape perception is relevant to visually guided action, such as reaching-to-grasp an object. In this article, I reviewed fundamental findings of two-visual system theory and suggested problems of visually guided action to consider what shape perception implies for the two visual systems. Questions raised highlight possible limitations of adopting a structural neuroanatomical approach to account for perception and action effects, and by extent related psychiatric conditions such as DCD. In conclusion, neurobiological approach converging to neuropsychiatry, while useful, would be limited if it focuses too much on anatomical distinction.

DOI : 10.14400/JDC.2015.13.6.267
Recently, a wide range of products incorporating cutting-edge technology are being introduced in various sectors of design. Belkin's WeMo or Phillips' Hue are representative examples. In this context, the color-responsive lighting bookcase is a design product that would satisfy the needs of contemporary consumers who seek entertainment in their purchases. By installing lightings that change color according to the user's behavior, this design reconceptualizes the bookcase as a source of entertainment rather than a mundane object of household furnishing. The lighting apparatus can be detached and reattached, serving as stand-alone equipment. The lighting bookcase is modularized, comprising extensions equipped with MCU (Micro Controller Unit), RGB LED and color sensors. The bookcase as a whole is extendable towards four directions up to nine units with the lighting bookcase at the center. The extended, multiple lighting bookcases are wired to receive power from the main bookcase, and are equipped with RGB LEDs but not with MCUs or color sensors. Receiving power and color signals from the main lighting bookcase, the sub-bookcases feature changing shades of color. Also, it includes IoT(internet of Things). This study is a proposal of a design product, modularized to control the shades of the bookcase lighting using these sensors.

A survey of 323 males and females in their 20's and 30's revealed that attributes of apps that satisfy their basic psychological needs are crucial in promoting perceived usefulness and usage of the apps. Participants were more likely to perceive exercise/fitness apps useful as they perceive them having more attributes related to autonomy and competence. The perception regarding relatedness attributes did not have the main effect on perceived usefulness but showed an interaction effect with relative autonomous motivation. This convergence study which examined health apps from the perspectives of psychology and public health provides practical implications to development and evaluation of health apps.
