A Study on the Influence between Self-leadership Strategies and Learning Performance at IT Classes mediated by Attitude of Attendance: focused on the Social Science Students in University

Many organizations have had deep interests in studies concerning leadership and also in academic area, not only management but also psychology. Until now, the leadership has been accentuated to managers or team leaders especially. Recently, however, the concept of self-leadership that lead one's own activities toward right direction through self-control or self-management is being focused on practices and academia. This study is to investigate the influence between self-leadership strategies and learning performance at IT classes mediated by attitude of attendance focused on the social science students in an university. Research results can give us right direction of task-taking attitudes in firms or learning attitudes in teaching organization and implications to human resource manager who are in charge of improving learning performance or productivity.
A Study on the Public Traffic Policy in Information Age: Focused on the Bus Quasi-Public Operating System in Gwang-ju Metropolitan City

As one of the most traffic devices, bus has played a great role in Korea for the last years. However, a great many peoples in big cities have continually decreased with the increase of private car ownership. It causes lower quality of bus service and unstability of operation in many bus companies. In the several local government, the operation system of bus was changed to Bus Quasi-Public Operating System. The aim of this study is to assess the effects and to suggest improvement strategies of Bus QPOS. According to the results of the analysis, Bus QPOS has brought various positive effects, but it has occurred negative effects, especially a much increase of government subsidies to bus company. To resolve a negative effects, government should examine the whole condition of bus operations. This study suggests strategies to improve Bus QPOS, which is including transparency of management, fair assessment system, standard cost system for bus operations.
A Study on the Policy for Improving Treatment of Technical Manpower in Software Industry based on the Structure Analysis between Variables about Software Industry Policy

Since the major requisite of software production is manpower, the core element of the competitive power of software is also manpower. However, economic treatments and social status of software manpower are in a very unsatisfactory situation. While Korean government has been continuing to drive the policy to foster the local software industry, the most cultivating policies of software industry are adjusted to the focus to create the local market in software field, reinforce the global competitive power, and intensify the competitive basis of small and medium size business organizations. So it is true that manpower which is key players and core elements of the software industry, have been shunned by the government policy. The purpose of this study is to initiate the necessity of the policy for technical manpower in the software industry and to suggest a policy program to uplift the treatment of them. To achieve this purpose, this paper will analyze the structural relation between variables about software policy and suggest policy programs to improve the treatment of manpower in the software field.
A Study on Human Resource Training Plan and Status of the New Reproduction Energy Industry in Gwangju area

The purpose of this study is to suggest the effective alternative plan of the human resource training in the new reproduction energy industry, here in Gwang-Ju area. Nowadays, we, Korea is confronted with great changing moment to reform the developmental model in social situation & economical paradigms. Based on the aspect, the study showed that how suitable place to carry out the aims in Gwangju area ; first, the good equipped natural environment for activating is apt to build the new reproduction energy industry. And next, the good skilled human resource training is to get into the newly industry. According, the various policy of educating manpower for activating new reproduction energy industry need to be driven in short and long term.
A study of the scenario for improvement of NPKI system

The purpose of this paper is the improvement of NPKI management policy in Korea. In order to reach the issue of EC certification problems, we examined first the institutions and system accredited NPKI for checking on the status and problems. We studied the alternatives for the improvement of NPKI system through brainstorming with experts, they had drawn possible scenarios and chosen optimal policy measures of the public key infrastructure.
A Study on the Item Code Standardization of Automobile Industry

Auto-industry is very difficult to standardize item code generation rule, because it has more than 20,000 parts in this industry. As finished good companies have already used the ERP system such as SAP, they have a good Master Data Management(MDM) system. However, since many supplier companies have poor MDM system, they have a lot of barriers on system implementation like ERP, MES. PDM systems. This study surveys various benchmarking sites and investigates the standardization of item code of the auto-parts manufacturing companies. Finally, this study proposes the implementation guide (IMG) of auto-industry MDM standardization.
A Study on the Relationship between Job Characteristics and Job Satisfaction by Employment Types.

This study is to investigate the relationship between job characteristics and job satisfaction in manufacturing company and difference of perceived job satisfaction from employment type(employees and temporary employees). The result of this study are as follows: (1) job characteristics such as skill variety, job identity, autonomy are related to job satisfaction, (2) the perceived job satisfaction is made a no difference between employees and temporary employees. The results above indicate that the job satisfaction difference from employment type can be used for organization to improve the organizational effectiveness including organizational competitiveness and employee's job satisfaction.
A Study on Critical Success Factors for Implementing Information Security Governance

Nowadays, information security governance which is an integral part of corporate governance has become an important issue in protecting valuable business information assets. However, there are few organizations which have implemented information security governance because of its abstract concept. The objective of this paper is to develop CSFs for implementing information security governance. Ten CSFs were developed based on the ISO/IEC 27014 Information Security Governance Framework.
Validating Constructs of Web Usage in Education and Learning

E-learning has become an ever-increasing delivery method in school and workplace. Many Web sites provide Internet users with lots of information and resources on study, research, and career development in workplace. First, this study aimed at presenting a process of validating instruments to measure perception of using the Web for learning. Secondly, this paper attempted to find out a list of critical constructs that university students recognize when they access Web sites to get some resources on their fields of study. This study also suggested the features of those constructs. This paper would help improve our understanding of Web usage for schoolwork and research. This result of the paper will facilitate further understanding of constructs associated with Web usage in other areas, thereby enabling researchers, practitioners, and policy makers to draw much attention to e-learning.
A Study on the Relationships between Self-Leadership and Organizational Citizenship Behavior According to Styles of Leadership

The purpose of this study examines how the self-leadership in organization affects citizenship behavior and which types(transformational leadership, transactional leadership) of leadership can moderate between self-leadership and organizational citizenship behavior. Hypotheses were tested by surveying 255 employees in small and medium enterprises. we conducted exploratory factor analysis for two constructs(behavioral strategy, cognitive strategy) using oblique rotation method that did not assume independence among the factors and main factors of self-leadership were grouped together by two factors. The results of this study are as followings; First, all factors of self-leadership had a significant positive effect on the organizational citizenship behavior. Second, only transformational leadership moderated between cognitive strategy of self-leadership and organizational citizenship behavior.
The Effects of Medical Service Quality and Service Value by Relationship Quality on Customer Behaviour

This study is to investigate the effects of medical service quality and service value by relationship on customer behaviors. The empirical findings of this study are summarized as follows. First, the findings on effects of medical service quality on relationship quality showed that rise in medical service quality resulted in a significant rise in relationship quality. Second, the findings on effects of service value on relationship quality verified that rise in service value had positive(+) impacts on relationship quality. Third, the findings on effects of relationship quality on customer behaviors verified that relationship quality had significant impacts on customer behaviors. Lastly, the findings of relationship with medical service quality, service value, and customer behaviors verified that relationship quality served as a parameter. The findings from the above study show that dental medical institutions have to seek more differentiated and various service strategies, continue to develop consistent service methods to meet customer's expectation, and enhance the reliability of customers in dental medical institutions in order to maximize the results of customer behaviors.
A Study on the Path Analysis between factors affecting in Ubiquitous Living English Experience Learning Center

This study utilized SPSS and AMOS program to research a process of learning satisfaction of learners, who used Ubiquitous Living English Experience Learning Center. The following results were found ; First, there was a positive correlation between learning setting and learning interest, between learning setting and learning satisfaction, between confidence and learning interest, between confidence and learning satisfaction, and between learning interest and learning satisfaction. Second, the process of the research model was meaningful in various ways: learning setting

learning satisfaction. Finally, learning setting had a direct influence upon learning interest and learning satisfaction.
A Study of the Relations among English Thinking Structure, Pre-English Skill, Self-Efficacy in English, Flow and Learning Effect

The aim of this study is to determine the relationship between variables affecting learning effect and flow experience on an e-Learning English program. There are 4 independent variables; English thinking structure, self-efficacy in English and flow. The results are as follows: Firstly, there is statistically significant positive correlation between each variable of English thinking structure, pre English skill, self-efficacy in English, flow and learning effect. Secondly, it appeared that flow was affected by all three variables of English thinking structure, pre-English skill and self-efficacy in English. Also flow experience affected learning improvement. Finally, it is verified that there is a mediating effect of flow experience on the relation of self-efficacy in English and learning effect.
A Study on Features of Smart Phone Users

Mobile phones users are not only able to use smart phone services in real time whenever and wherever they desire, but also they can acquire appropriate information that they need. The features of smart phone services and users are examined in this study because there are not enough studies on such unique features of smart phone services. In accordance with the results of the study the features of smart phone services and users can be categorized as follows: 1) the requisite features of smart phone services are immediate connectivity and. 2) The requisite features for smart phone users are user friendliness and user innovation. 3) The requisite features of smart phone technology are security and linkage.
A Case Study of the Economic Performance Measurement of Information System Integration in Public Sector

This case study quantifies the savings that can be realized through integration in National Computing & Information Agency (NCIA) of the Korea Government. It is based on the process of the NCIA development project that consolidating and integrating distributed 24 agencies. And it used the widely accepted Gartner TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) Solution and applies that methodology consistently before and after integration. Specific measurement items for examining the information system integration saving cost are developed pilot test for 2 agencies through compare TCO before integration and TCO after integration. The results of measuring on information system integration in NCIA are showed lots of economic cost reduction in TCO by integrating and consolidating each computing environment in agency. Especially in detail, NCIA realized the most savings in IT Capital Cost including development of hardware, software and recovery system. Also IT Support Cost and IT Administration Cost examined more savings than before IT integration.
An Exploratory Study on Performance Measure for Information System - Focus on NCIA's Cases -

In this days, information resources are very important in the organization. So, Many public institutions as well as private companies eager to IRM(information resource management). Especially, one of core elements in this IRM is server's performance. Determinating server's performance is a big issue of an acquired organization. In this paper, we examine the key performance issue of server purchase and then we proposed the three measurement method of sever's performance that is considered environment of public sector.
