교구를 활용한 학습활동이 각과 각도의 개념이해에 미치는 영향

The purpose of this paper was to develop manipulative materials to teach the angle concepts and construct a teaching-learning program by using that. Furthermore, this study analyzed how does the program affect students understanding of the angle concepts. To check the effects of learning activities with manipulative materials on the understanding of an angle concepts, applied observation during class and write a mathematics journal writing, a description of students impressions at the end of the class and analyzed before and after test paper. We find that students approached the subject more friendly and knew well about the mathematical concepts by using materials. Furthermore, this activity helped that way to solve add and subtract of the angle, estimate ability, round angle concept, positive response in mathematics learning.

In this study, we study on the length of bisector of angle by the method using the area, the method using the vector and the method using the similarity, also the length of trisector of angle by the method using the sine law, the method using the area and the method using the second law of cosine in triangle, respectively. And we study on the length of trisector of angle with the length of bisector in angle. This study is expected to use the learning materials for the interesting construction and the problem solving using trigonometric functions.
교과서에서 나타난 작도방법의 정당화

This study is to provide improved teaching methods on classical geometric construction education by a straightedge and compass in school mathematics. In this paper, justifications of construction methods of Korean textbooks, for perpendicular bisector of an segment and angle bisector are discussed, which can be directly applicable to teaching geometric construction meaningfully. Based on these considerations, several implications for desirable teaching methods concerning geometric construction were suggested.
중등 학교수학의 교수-학습과 그래핑 계산기 활용과의 관계에 대한 고찰

The purpose of this study is to review previous studies regarding the relationship between graphing calculators usage and teaching and learning school mathematics and to suggest practical implications for further research in mathematics education. Through reviewing the total of 21 studies five subsections are divided in order to gain the answers to the research questions. The results of this study are as follows: students typically used graphing calculators in drawing graphs of functions, and they used graphing calculators as a tool for calculations, transformations, data collection and analysis, visualization, and checking. The implications for further research are suggested corresponding to these results.

The main purpose of this work is to suggest a new approach to teaching general topology to undergraduate students. First, we change the order of contents. Usually, we introduce definitions, examples, theorems, and problems in this order. But, showing familiar examples of some concept of topology prior to the definition of one is the best method so far as I know from teaching experience of topology, which students feel very hard because of its abstractness. For more efficiency, mathematics-clubs each consisting of three or four students in topology course are established. This makes students very positive in topology class.

It seems that it is critical to comprehend mathematics as a tool subject in order to understand a number of calculations in the professional subjects in the vocational high schools. This study is designed to determine "how much mathematics is connected to specialized subjects in terms of mathematical content at vocational high schools". To investigate the research questions, this study examined the connections between the mathematical topics included in professional subjects and those of mathematics subjects in the vocational high school. In the end, this study suggest that is should be necessary to make new mathematics textbook which reflects the reality and needs of the present vocational high school students.

line in triangle 80 years ago. We find Zetel's papers, in detail explain the Zetel's construction methods, and suggest two elementary construction methods. Our results are received in the process of Research and Education program in science high school.

In this study we develop mathematical tools for measuring the Geumgang Ratio and we call them Geumgang Ratio Calipers. Also we show a teaching method for ratio through experimental mathematics. With Geumgang Ratio Calipers students measure the Geumgang Ratio in their bodies, materials for everyday life and the Sukgulam. Through this activity, students obtained an interest in mathematics and gained a positive attitude for mathematics.

There are serious difficulties with management of general mathematics education courses because of enormous gap between freshman's ability of mathematics and lack of problem solving ability. In this paper, we try to find methods so we can reduce the difficulties. By utilizing students survey, management of Mathematics Cafe and setting example classes for Calculus and Linear Algebra we suggest effective management strategies and teaching-learning methods.
