수준상승에 기초한 수학학습지도에 관한 연구

In this paper, we apply mathematising activities to geometry contents of corrent in middle and high school in order to actualize learning and teaching through Freudenthal`s, Piaget`s, and Van Hieles`s mathematising among many theories affecting teaching and learning methods. Learners find out mathematical idea through the activities of mathematising that interprete mathematical problemm. And we derive mathematic through the experience of vertical mathematising that expresses it. Based on it, Freudenthal`s progressive mathematising process, etc are used in doing the activities of applicative mathematising.
초등학교 교사들의 수학 수업에 대한 불안 요인과 수학에 대한 태도 조사

The purpose of this study to analyze correlation for the tendency of mathematics anxiety, traits according to the factors of mathematics anxiety and mathematics attitude depending on the teacher variable through a survey of mathematics anxiety and attitude toward mathematics on teaching mathematics of elementary school teachers. To solve the questions above, sampled 250 elementary school teachers in Daegu province. As a result of the study, mathematics anxiety on teaching is not actually formed a lot. However, the more training experience with mathematics, previous academic career, education career were, the lower mathematics anxiety was. The results showed that mathematics anxiety is affected by previous academic career, training experience with mathematics in particular. In addition, we found that mathematics anxiety is affected by mathematics anxiety in their school, recognition of the ability to explain mathematics contents and attitudes toward mathematics.
수학사를 활용한 수학수업이 수학과 학습 태도에 미치는 영향

The purpose of mathematics education includes two important areas; cognitive area that emphasizes mathematical knowledge and understanding and affective area that stresses mathematical interest and attitude. The purpose of mathematics education is not only in acquiring the contents and knowledge but also rousing up interest and attention toward mathematics. Therefore, effort to accomplish this affective purpose has to be made. Introducing history of mathematics to teaching can be a important method for the students to arouse interest and attention toward mathematics. History of mathematics can help the students who are familiar to only manipulation of the symbols to develop a new way of thinking and mathematical thoughts arousing reflective thinking. According to the survey, although the effect of using mathematics history has been recognized, the mathematics history has neither been developed as teaching materials nor reflected in the courses of study. The purpose of this research is to develop the reading materials into suit for the mathematics curriculum to extract contents of the mathematics valuable in using in elementary mathematics teaching, and to investigate the effect of reading materials using the history of mathematics on learning attitude in elementary school. The way of developing materials in this study is as follows. First, to select the interesting and instructive subject for the elementary students such as the story and life of a mathematician, developmental stages of mathematical theory and calculation currently used and finding the patterns of the rules that requires mathematical thoughts. Second, to classify the selected items according to mathematics curriculum. Third, to reorganize the classified items of the appropriate grade with the reading materials of dialogue pattern in order to draw attention and interest from the students I developed 18 kinds materials in accordance with the above procedure and applied 5 materials among them to one class in 4th grade. Analysing the student`s responses, First, using history of mathematics helps the students to arouse interest and confidence on mathematical learning attitude. And the students became better attitude of studying by oneself and attention on class. Second, as know by opinions after lesson, most students have a chance refresh one`s thinking of mathematics, want to know the other content of history of mathematics and responded to study hard in mathematics. As a result, the reading materials on the basis of the history of mathematics motivates students for mathematics and helps them become confident in mathematics. If the materials are complemented properly, they will be useful and effective for students and teachers.
인간교육으로서 기하교육의 인식론적 기초에 관한 연구

We can understand in the context of kant`s philosophy the intuitive geometry education arguing that geometry education should begin with intuition. Both Pestalozzi and Herbart advocate a connection between geometry and intuition as well as a close relationship between geometry and the world. Significance of the intuitive geometry education resizes in the fact that geometry becomes both an example of and a principle of general cognition. The intuitive geometry education uses figures as an educational foundation in the transcendental condition for the main agent of cognition. In this regard, the intuitive geometry education provides grounds for the human character development.

In this paper, we carry out personal lessons in order to improve the problem-solving abilities of students who have a low level of university general mathematics, and find the efficient teaching method of the personal lessons by analyzing the mathematic achievement of the participating students.
고등학교 이차곡선 단원의 효과적인 지도 방안

The conic sections is an important topic in the current high school geometry. It has been recognized by many researchers that high school students often have difficulty or misconception in the learning of the conic sections because they are taught the conic sections only with algebraic perspective or analytic geometry perspective. In this research, we suggest a way of teaching the conic sections using a dynamic geometry software based on some mathematics teaching and learning theories such as Freudenthal`s and Dienes`. Students have various experience of constructing and manipulating the conic sections for themselves and the experience of deriving the equations of the quadratic curves under the teacher`s careful guidance. We identified this approach was a feasible way to improve the teaching and learning methods of the conic sections.

In this paper, we research contents of the ancient book ; Dae-su-sul (Algebra) compiled by Heng-Fang Hua(華衡芳) and translated by John Fryer(傅蘭雅). We find methods of calculation and algorithm in the first and second volume of Dae-su-sul, and investigate the influence on modern Korean mathematical development.
한국의 수학교육 평가 유형에 관한 연구동향

This study was to analyze the research trend related to mathematics education evaluation in the analysis of the articles on
. The study explores the future direction of mathematics education assessment research by investigating whether such evaluation was suitable for the expectation about the assessment required in the current mathematics curriculum. This study was to classify the evaluation-related researches based on Korea educational curriculum revision from 1991-2010 to examine the research trend on the mathematics education evaluation in each season in Korea, analyze the articles by `monitoring of student`s progress`, `judgement on instruction`, `giving the value on mathematics achievement of students`, `value judgement of the program` that were the purpose of evaluation presented in 1995 NCTM(National Council of Teachers of Mathematics). As a result, looking at the research trend classified by the time of the educational curriculum revision, the 7th educational curriculum had the most number of the papers announced from 1997-2006. Despite 2007 educational curriculum revision was the short period from announced 2007-2008 before the next educational curriculum was placed, 11 papers(34.4%) were published. According to the category by the purpose of the assessment prescribed in NCTM, it showed that researches of `monitoring of student`s progress(46.9%)` were the most, those of `value judgement of the program` and `giving the value on mathematics achievement of students had a similar percentage.

In this paper, we study to find the sums of finite series with the figurate numbers, which correspond to triangular pyramid and quadrangular pyramid, frustum of triangular pyramid and frustum of quadrangular pyramid, respectively.
