ACYCLIC DIGRAPHS WHOSE 2-STEP COMPETITION GRAPHS ARE P

Abstract
The 2-step competition graph of D has the same vertex set as D and an edge between vertices x and y if and only if there exist (x, z)-walk of length 2 and (y, z)-walk of length 2 for some vertex z in D. The 2-step competition number of a graph G is the smallest number k such that G together with k isolated vertices is the 2-step competition graph of an acyclic digraph. Cho, et al. showed that the 2-step competition number of a path of length at least two is two. In this paper, we characterize all the minimal acyclic digraphs whose 2-step competition graphs are paths of length n with two isolated vertices and construct all such digraphs.

CONJUGACY SEPARABILITY OF CERTAIN FREE PRODUCT AMALGAMATING RETRACTS

Abstract
We find some conditions to derive the conjugacy separability of the free product of conjugacy separable split extensions amalgamated along cyclic retracts. These conditions hold for any double coset separable groups and free-by-cyclic groups with nontrivial center. It was known that free-by-finite, polycyclic-by-finite, and fuchsian groups are double coset separable. Hence free products of those groups amalgamated along cyclic retracts are conjugacy separable.

Abstract
S. Turner has shown that a Neron symbol can be calculated from the values of K-meromorphic theta functions corresponding to divisors on K-holomorphic torus of strongly diagonal type. Using an isogeny to a K-holomorphic torus of strongly diagonal type, he constructed a Neron symbol on K-holomorphic torus of diagonal type. In this work, we provide a simple formula of the Neron symbol on the Tate curve. And then we construct the Neron symbol on K-holomorphic torus of diagonal or st rongly diagonal type without using isogenies.
